I walked past Jaehyun and was supposed to get into the water when I felt someone yank my arm. "Hey! You-", I exclaimed but immediately got cut off. "Why are you wearing this again babe", Ten asked pulling me near him. "Is it bothering you", I then asked glaring at him with seducing eyes. "Isn't that for my eyes only", Ten asked. As if you'll get me by that question. "No, I am a model, I am used to wearing this in public", I said yanking my arm free from his grip.
Just as I was about to walk away he pulled me again this time closer to him. "What are you doing", I asked out of frustration. "What are you doing", he asked this time with a hint of anger in his tone as he emphasized the word ‘you’. "Doing whatever the hell I want dear", I answered facing him. "When one of these losers ever try to hit on you, I won't hesitate to punch", he whispered making me laugh.
"Don't say I didn't warn you", he threatened me. As if. I walked away not looking back. "Whatever", I yelled. Luckily I saw Mark and Lucas in the water. I ran to them as they waved towards me. "Look at you, looking good", Mark complimented. "Don't act as if you're not used to this", I responded giggling. "Well, almost everyone's eyes are on you", Lucas said which made me laugh. "As if I care", I said laughing.
We just spent some time in the water with Lucas carrying me to deeper parts of the water. “Why are you leaving me here”, Mark yelled making both me and Lucas laugh. “What happened with you and Ten”, Lucas now asked. “Why? Anything out of the ordinary”, I asked back. “Just not used to seeing you without him anymore, especially now that it’s a free day”, he responded. In such a short amount of time, how did this become a thing? Me and Ten not being together is now something out of the ordinary? I’m lost for words. “Shit happens, you know”, I simply responded to end the conversation. “Well, if you say so”, he said before walking back to where Mark was. “Jaehyun is up to something there, let’s check it out”, Mark said as soon as I got from Lucas’s shoulders. The then ran leaving me behind.
"Hey, Jae-seong, right", a complete stranger asked walking up to me. "Do I know you", I asked not facing him. "Uhm I was one of the participants in the pageant", he said shyly. "And? I'm asking if I know", I said now facing him staring him down. "No. But that's why I want to introduce myself", he said with a smile. "Not interested", I said looking behind him, there I saw Ten watching us from afar. I saw him fuming in anger so I waved at him and smiled. 
"See that", I told the guy pointing at Ten. "He said hi", I told him as he waved at Ten clueless. "Anyways, better luck next time bud", I said tapping is shoulder before walking past him. I approached Ten with a mischievous smile. "I thought you won't hesitate to punch Tennie boy", I said chuckling.
"I know him, okay", he said looking away from me. "I can't believe I'm liking what I'm seeing", I said teasing him. "You think this is funny", he asked. "Maybe. But I can't stand someone who can't keep their word", I said walking away from him and approached my brother. "What is he so mad about", Jaehyun asked as soon as I came near. "I teased him. Acting like a jealous boyfriend when we aren't even official yet", I answered taking a slice of watermelon. 
"Aren't you like dating already", Mark asked. "Hell no", I answered with a disgusted face. "Then what is... all that", Mark continued to ask. "Just some mutual feelings but nothing official yet", I answered munching on the watermelon. "Are you sure about that? Doesn't look like it's just something mutual by how he's acting up", Jaehyun said as he is watching Ten as he speak. "That ain't my problem anymore", I said flipping my hair. 
"Heeeyyy you're really full of yourself sometimes", Mark said which made them laugh. "Whatever watermelon boy, I have way more problems to deal with other than consoling his jealous ass", I said without hesitation. "Why do you speak as if you don't have feelings for him", Mark suddenly asked and that is when it hit me. Why do I even speak as if I never liked him? Why am I being so hard on him? Why am I suddenly avoiding him?
It can't be because of the conversation me and Yuta had earlier. It can't also be because my emotions drifted away. How will anyone understand me when I can't even understand myself? The situation now is only getting worse as I continue to have a battle with my own thoughts. Is it right to console him now that I am the one who caused and actually made the situation worse? 
What have I even gotten myself into?
