Chapter 25

Even though he knew this would happen, Byul was still amused. Not just by inch nor a foot but somehow a mile. The situation was expected yet at the same time unexpected.
He really wanted to use his skill on that teacher, his hand was itching to fiddle around that perfectly crafted body all this while but he held back, thinking that he might survived the night and let the man end his own life. He really didn’t want to lay his hand dirty. But in the end, that bummer remained a coward. What a total disappointment. He felt somewhat regretful of his own choice.
Anyways, he has no interest to dwell on stuffs so he just let go.
In a silly smile, Byul faced the two students. With a voice filled with coquette, he says.
“Your teacher really held it well. Too bad, he didn’t have the guts to end his own life.”
The delinquent simply raised his brow, thinking that this guy has lost a screw. He even had the gal to joke. What a sc*mbag. However, the other was a bit confused. In a very anxious voice, he refuted.
“What are you saying…He’s still fine, the infection still haven’t –“ reach his nervous system yet. The following words refused to leave his mouth as the student choke back the words afraid of suspicion.
“Dead people won’t come back to life.”
Byul firmly said as he gave the student a meaningful glance. He’s been feeling this weird itch since last night. This kid right here seems to hide a lot of stuff but he play the innocent bystander, what a pathetic cannon fodder. Byul shook his head, he assumed that this person would be the one to die next. No mistake on that.
He then smile at him and said in a joking manner. “Well, killing a dead person is not even considered a murder so-“
Thunk!
Byul froze as he instantly avert his gaze on his puppets. Seconds after, everyone eventually shifted their gaze on the frozen corpses. With a heavy breath, the five people stared at the swaying bodies. Something seems to be wriggling in the back judging by the incoherent movements in the front.
The kids back off instinctively without a second thought as they hurriedly reach out to anything near to defend themselves.
Byul furrowed his brow as his vision slightly caught sight of the infected teacher. The line of corpse wobbled as the body swayed along with the movement in the center. He really didn’t end his life. In a single glance, he knew everything would go down the grain if he revealed his ability. Byul clicked his tongue, irritated.
Now, the idiot was stuck in that thought.
Stanley wrinkled his brows, his sense of smell is too strong that he could snuff out the rotten stench all the way to its core. It was so nasty that he felt his lungs burning.
He pinched his nostrils as he glared at the line of stiffs in front. It looks like his sense got stimulated by the scent of blood.
It’s disgusting, he want to lurched ahead and puke but he couldn’t do anything, his body was frozen stiff as if he was being drawn towards that nasty scent. It was so disgusting that he wanted to hurry up and tear the flesh with his own hands.
In that moment, he knew he completely fucked up as the big ‘ALERT!’ popped inside his head.
“F*ck!” Stanley cursed as he felt his rationality fade. He palmed his face, covering his own sight as he tried to hold the urge to kill but it was too late.
Too late that he felt his blood gushed in his head along with a loud beating of his heart. It was unbearably painful like his head got smashed with a hammer.
There, he reached the last straw as the sound of that familiar beep instantly lured his reasons away.

“Haaaah”
Byul felt his back gone cold. The chill instantly made him turned his head as the very person froze in total shock. The idiot couldn’t believe his eyes as the pupils reflected that very image of a total beast.
Eyes flaming with bloodlust, gnashing his teeth as if he’s mimicking a wolf. Byul raised his brow seeing his glass-like eyes staring ferociously at the corpses.
Byul pursed his lips, somehow he felt something wrong. It’s as if a bad omen just sprout inside his gut.
This, Byul took one quick look again and realized that the very person seems to be zoned out. Byul held his breath, in that very moment his heart thump almost jumping out of his chest. Don’t tell me…
‘This bas—’
Before he even get to speak, he saw the beast leapt towards him in a flash. Without sparing a second, he rushed towards the swaying corpses.
Byul widened his eyes and soon realized that what he ever feared was right in front of him. Byul opener his mouth, in a slow motion, the beast passed by and lunged upfront making his anxiousness rose even more.
“No!”
Byul quickly turned his head towards the corpses but then he realized that he was too late.
In a single second, everything was eventually torn apart. Stanley clawed his way into the dead bodies as he angrily tore them one by one without a thought. All the limbs and insides flung in the air showing a total slaughter.
“What is this…” The two students was greatly intimidated, unconsciously letting go of the object in their hands.
The corridor turned cold as if they suddenly got inside the freezer. The duration of his skill ticked as the beast impatiently scoured the place.
[20s…19..]
Winston furrowed his brows, confused, horrified, he don’t know what he’s even feeling at the moment. The scene was too intense but he couldn’t take his eyes off it.
Just by watching that man devouring everything on his way like a breeze. He can’t even believe his own eyes as he witness the sight. It was like a dream no, a total nightmare!
That one in front! He’s not human but a beast! He’s a monster!
