I looked around while smiling. It was only eight in the morning but it was already crowded in the park. I never thought that this day would happen when I would no longer be afraid of so many people. I thought there was really no hope.
"Why is Brick so late?!" I looked at the one next to me who was frustrated of waiting for the man in the grocery store.
"Let's just wait for a minute. He will come out later, and it's still early." I said to him and held his hand with his watch on his wrist and showed him the time.
He looked at the time and waited again. I was about to let go of his hand, but I remembered the scar I saw on his hand when he removed the watch then. I quickly pulled up his watch in case I could see the scar there but he locked it too tightly so I didn't see what I wanted to see.
"What are you doing?" He said seriously and withdrew his hand from mine. I looked at his serious face then I smiled slowly.
"Can you show me your scar again?" I begged and he immediately averted his eyes from me. I know he doesn't want to say the cause of that scar yet, but I want our relationship to improve. Because since we confessed to each other, we have become closer, but not even a single incident in his life has been told so I want to know it now, so that I know something about him.
"I just want to know the reason for that scar, so I know something about you. You haven't told me about you" I told him again. I heard his deep sigh then immediately took off his watch. Now I can see the scar on his wrist.
"I was still in High School when I got this scar" he began, and then took another deep sigh. I just listened to him and looked at his scar again.
"This is something I want to forget and at the same time, I don't because that day, I did not know what was happening to myself. I feel like I am losing myself" he continued and I just listened to him.
"I-I got it from the woman ..." He stammered as if he was having trouble speaking.
"Bro, where did you park your car? I'll just put it" I stopped listening to Logan when Brick came with what he bought.
Logan pointed out where his car was parked, and Brick immediately walked there, but Brick was only a few steps away when someone called him.
"Sir, you left your cap" a guard shouted at him so Brick returned, and gave Logan the bag.
"You take that to the car, Bro" Brick said to Logan, and went to the guard.
"I'm sorry, Vianne, but I'm not ready to tell you yet"
"It's okay" I said and smiled. He signaled that he would put what he was carrying in the car first, so I nodded. I thought about what he said and I remembered what he said he got it from the woman. I frowned and wondered which woman he was referring to.
"Let's go, Vianne" Brick immediately appeared in front of me. I instantly stood up and walked with him to Logan's car.
"Why didn't you go with Logan earlier?"  Brick asked and he signaled if we were fighting. I laughed at what he was doing.
"We were not fighting. I was just waiting for you" I laughed, he moved away from me, and you could see the shock in his eyes.
"Don't think about anything. I was just waiting for you because Logan might leave you. He's been annoyed waiting for you" I said and he smiled.
"Oh, I'm sorry. There was a beautiful woman earlier, and I let her on the line first. I didn't realize she bought a lot" he said to me and winked at me. I just laughed at what he was doing. It has been days, and in those days, Logan and Brick, and I, became close, so it's normal for me to have his actions like this. We immediately get in the car when we arrived.
I was surprised when Logan immediately put the seat belt on me. I heard a fake cough, and I know Brick did that.
"Bro, I hope you just did it when I still haven't got in the car" Brick teased Logan.
"Shut up" Logan said sparingly, and immediately drove off. I laughed at Brick's answer and looked back at Brick. I looked at him with a teasing look but he just smiled. I quickly looked back at the road but I glance at Logan who is seriously driving. I looked at his arms and I just bit my lip when I saw how his veins came out every time he moved. I averted my eyes from him, and just looked out the window. We were silent for a while but the silence was broken when Logan spoke.
"We have a Doctors Party Tonight, do you want to come?" Said Logan.
"Woah! Nice, Bro! I'm coming" Brick said.
"Are you coming?"  Logan asked me.
"Where?" I asked.
"At Mirch's Bar"
I thought about what he said, I haven't been to the bar yet, and I only see it in pictures and movies, so I nodded to him.  He smiled and drove again.
"Ok, let's buy clothes for later" Logan said.
"Wait, can we go home first? We just finished jogging. We smell sweat" I said.
"Let's eat first, Bro. I'm hungry" Brick whispered.
"Let's eat in the house. We smell sweat" said logan. I laughed because Logan obviously favors me over Brick. Brick didn't do anything so he just kept quiet.

I finished eating and I took a shower so I'm here in the bedroom now because I'm drowsy. I'll sleep for a while because we'll buy clothes later, Logan said. I closed my eyes and let myself fall asleep.
"Vianne, wake up" I opened my eyes and woke up immediately when Logan's face opened up to me.
"I'm sorry, if I came in you didn't hear me knocking before"
"O-okay. Why are you here?" I awkwardly asked.
"We need to buy clothes for the party" he said so, I immediately looked at my phone. It was 4:58 pm, and Logan said the party would start at 8 p.m.
"Ah, okay. I'll get dressed first" I said and he immediately nodded and left my room.  I immediately relaxed when he came out of my room. I quickly went to the bathroom and looked at my face to see if there was saliva on my face and I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw nothing so I immediately washed and got dressed.
I immediately grabbed my bag from the passenger seat when we arrived at a department store. The staff greeted us there as soon as we entered. I immediately looked at the women's apparels. The three of us are separated because they also shop for clothes.
I just kept looking when something caught my eye. A red bodycon dress. It's actually a lace dress and you can see through the waist area of it.
"Do you want to try it, ma'am?" Asked a staff member who had followed me earlier.
I nodded so he pointed to the fitting room. I quickly put my bag on a couch in front of the fitting room so I could get dressed.
I looked in the mirror after I wore the dress. I smiled as I looked at my appearance. I immediately left the fitting room to show a staff if it was right for me to wear it.
"What do you think? Does it suit to me?" I asked as I rearranged the dress.
"You look stunning"
I looked up when I recognized whose voice it was. Our eyes met so I looked away, and I gradually felt embarrassed.
"Oh, Ma'am, It looks great on you" the staff who was with me earlier immediately appeared so I was ashamed to smile.
"Okay, I'll take that along with our suits" Logan told the staff.
"Bro, you're just here. I've been looking for you." we immediately looked at the man with two suits.
"Wow! You're a Goddess, Vianne!" Brick said in amazement when he saw me.
I immediately laughed at what he said and was shaken. He's just pure nonsense.
"Hey ..." Logan said to Brick. I could see his bad look so I laughed softly.
Logan immediately signaled that they would just try the suit so, I nodded. I looked at myself again in the mirror before choosing heels.
We were just outside the bar when we heard loud music.
"I thought it was gonna start at 8:00 pm, but why does it seem like we're late?"  Brick asked.
I looked at my watch and saw that it was only 7:20. Yes, we are early. It's still 40 minutes before 8:00.
"Let's just go in" Logan said sparingly so I looked inside the bar. I breathe deeply because I was nervous. This was the first time I could get into it.
Brick immediately walked in, leaving Logan, and me behind.
"Haven't you been to the bars yet?"  Logan asked, and I nodded.
I was surprised when he held my hand so I looked at him.
"Let's go" he said so we walked in. As soon as I entered, I saw a lot of people. I released my hand from Logan's hand. He looked at me but he seemed to understand why I did that. Are they all really doctors? Why are there so many?
"Mr. Gray! How long have you been on vacation. When are you coming back?" I immediately looked at a woman who's approaching us. I can say that she's in her middle age.
"Uhh ..." Logan looked at me.
"I don't know yet, Dra. Cortez. I'm still enjoying my vacation" Logan replied.
"Well I can't blame you because it's your hospital you can take a vacation whenever you want but you have to work it looks like someone is missing you" she said smiling then looked at me. I was embarrassed to smile at her.
"By the way, who's this woman beside you?" Doctora asked again. Logan turned to me.
"Uhh ..."
I cringed at the length of time he could answer. He can't say that I'm his Fiancé because we have to set a date for when we will announce our engagement and we didn't talk about that. It seemed like my decision to go with him was wrong.
"Bro, I've been looking for you there for a long time--" Brick stopped talking when he saw we were talking.
"Oh! Good evening, Dra. Cortez" Brick greeted the doctor.
"Excuse us, Dra. Cortez. We need to go to our table"
He nodded to Logan so we walked to our place. We immediately approached a couch with a woman and a man.
"Logan!" A woman wearing a Navy Blue lace bodycon dress with a slit up to her legs, said cheerfully. He immediately stood up and hugged Logan. I looked away from them.
"Hazel, you're over reacting" Brick said now holding the wine. She ignored him, and immediately split up with Logan.
"I missed you! Why are you taking so long on vacation? Are you coming back to the Hospital next week?" Its sequential question.
I remember her. She was the one who called Logan then, when Logan was in the swimming pool who and he said that shes a workmate and a friend.
"Uhhh ..." Logan looked at me, but I just kept my face without expression.
"I don't know yet, Hazel. I still want to take a vacation." Logan replied.
"Why so long?"  the woman asked again whose name was "HAZEL". She didn't hug Logan anymore, but his hand was on Logan's shoulder.
"It's been a long time since I've been on vacation so I'm on a long vacation now" Logan replied to her.
"Oh, yeah. I remembered that in 2016 you last took a vacation. You're a workaholic for 4 years!" She says and I can tell they are really close to each other because this woman seems to know what’s going on in Logan’s life.
"Sit them down and give them a drink first, Hazel. They just came" replied a man who was sitting holding a wine like Brick.
I saw that the woman immediately wrapped her hand around Logan's arm but Logan immediately held her hand so as not to wrap around his arm.
"What? It's like I just did this to you for the first time." the woman complained when Logan untied the wrap of her hand around his arm.
"I have a visitor" Logan said and approached me and supported me to sit on a couch.
I saw the woman's serious look on me and I could tell that she was examining me from head to toe.
"You are not allowed to drink alcohol, only juice is allowed for you" I would have liked to complain because of what he said but it was embarrassing for those of us who are now looking at us. I don't know but I'm annoyed with Logan now.
"Woah! This is the first time I saw you brought a woman, Logan. Who is she?"  Asked the man next to Hazel.
"She's my Friend" Logan replied.
My chest immediately ached when he said that. So instead of juice, I took a glass of wine and drank it. Logan couldn't camplain anymore because I already drank it.
"Oh, friend?" the man asked and held out his hand to me.
"Finn Anderson" his introduction. I smiled and then said my name.
"Vianne Louisse Sylvistre" I replied.
"Nice name" the man smiled and looked at the woman. "Introduce yourself to her too" Finn said to her, but she just stared and looked at me badly again. She didn't introduce herself and looked at Logan, and spoke.
"Logan, you need to go to Dr. Scott's table. He's been waiting for awhile now."
Logan took a deep breath and looked at me.
"I need to talk to Dr. Scott. Wait for me, here" he said and I just nodded.
"Brick, stay here. Watch Vianne first" Logan said to Brick. Brick just nodded so they started walking. I looked away as the woman's hand wrapped around Logan's. I just drank alcohol again.
"Slowly" Finn said, but I ignored him.
"I thought Hazel was the only woman I could see close to him but I was wrong. I even thought they might be together because they're both sweet" I don't know if Finn is saying it out loud to me but I just kept my expression.
"I need to go to the restroom. Excuse me" I said and stood up.
"Excuse us, Finn. I'll just show her where the restroom is" Brick let Finn know and accompanied me.
We just walked until I saw the girls'  restroom.
"I'll just wait here" Brick said so I nodded.
When I entered, I immediately looked in the mirror. I felt better now. I'll admit I'm jealous of Hazel because she knows everything about Logan. Are they really just friends or more than that?
I just spent myself calming down and got out of there when I became calm. I immediately saw Brick waiting so I approached him.
"Oh, are you done?" He asked so I nodded.
"Okay, let's go back there" he was about to walk when I pulled his clothes.
"Let's not go back there" I said.
"Where do you want to go?" Brick's replied. I immediately pointed to the spot near the bartender.
"Logan will be angry if we don't go back there and if you get drunk" Brick reminded me.
"I don't care" I said flatly.
"Woah!" Brick said amazingly.
"What?" I furrowingly said.
"You were okay before, why did you suddenly get in a bad mood?" I ignored and he said and told the bartender to give me the strongest wine.
"Is it because you're jealous?" He asked.
I stopped at what he said, and immediately drank the wine.
"Hey! You're going to get drunk on what you're doing, Vianne" Brick said and forcefully grabbed the wine I was holding but I avoided it with him. When a glass ran out I picked up a glass. Brick would have grabbed it but I avoided it again.
"If you drink that. I would really think that you're jealous of the two of them" Brick said. I remembered Hazel's hug earlier and I'm disgusted again. I drank the wine straight away, and then dropped the glass on the table.
"Yes, I'm fucking jealous!" I say emphatically.
Brick laughed at what I said so I looked at him badly. His face immediately became serious and he spoke.
"Don't be jealous to Hazel. She's just a friend of Logan"
"I don't believe they're just friend" I said and drank the wine again.
"You don't have to be jealous anymore. She's Logan's friend and you are Logan's Fiancé. There's a big difference to the two of you"
"Yeah, there's a difference, but he introduced me as a" friend" and who is his Fiancé? Hazel?" My voice is raised now.  Brick didn't speak anymore, but I knew he was listening. I took the wine that was on the table and drank it.
"Do you know, Brick? I think that's why he didn't introduce me that I am his fiance because we haven't talked about when we'll announce that we're engaged. But I thought to myself that the reason seems superficial? He can introduce me that I am his fiancé just only to his friends but he didn't do that"
"Vianne, don't think too much" Brick said but I just kept talking.
I was just talking when I noticed that my vision was become blurred and I'm dizzy.
"Let's go home, Brick. Let's let Logan stay here with his Fiancé" I said firmly and stood up.
"Vianne, you're drunk sit here first" I immediately struggled with Brick's grip and started walking again even though I was dizzy. I was just walking when I suddenly had a convulsion, but before I could completely fall, someone caught up with me. I whinned because of the pain in my foot. I immediately took off the heels off my foot and threw it away.
"Woah, Vianne, Relax."  my forehead furrowed because Brick's voice was so far away from me. I thought he was the one who catch me?
I tried to stand up and walk barefoot but I couldn't stand my dizziness and I just feel that there were arms again around my waist and everything went black.
