I looked at Logan as he brought the spoon to my mouth.
"Try it." He said and brought the spoon to my mouth again.
I opened my mouth and ate it.
"Hmm, delicious. I want more." I said and I saw him smirk.
We are now in the kitchen. He's cooking while I'm just looking at him.
He immediately put what he cooked on the table, and then gave me a plate with rice.
I tasted his cooking again, and I just closed my eyes 'cause it taste so delicious.
"Why are you and Brick so good at cooking?" I asked while enjoying the meal.
I stared at him when he didn't answer and, I saw him frowned while looking at me
"What?" I asked, confused because of his action.
"Why are you talking about the person who isn't here?" There is a trace of annoyance in his tone.
"Is it forbidden to mention his name when he's not here?" I answered him.
He clicked his tongue. "I'm the one here and then you mention another man's name" he said annoyed.
I just frowned at him but the frown on my forehead gradually disappeared when something entered my mind.
'Is he jealous?'
I smiled at what I thought and called him with the endearment he called me.
"My love" I tenderly call him.
He immediately looked at me and I saw the shock on his face as if he couldn't believe my call to him. His mouth opened as if he was going to say something, but it immediately close and averted his eyes on me. I saw the redness in his ear so I laughed softly again.
"My love. Are you jealous?" I asked him tenderly.
He pretended to be spooning rice and ignored what I said. I laughed softly again as his ear became even redder.
"Are you jealous, hmm?" I said even softer. I heard curse murmur from him.
"My love ..."
"Damn! Yes, I'm jealous!"
I smiled at what he said. He's so cute.
I would have spoken more when he spoke.
"Damn! I thought it was best to hear my name when you call me but it's better to hear" my love". Please say it again" He said while blushing even more.
"My love ..." I called tenderly.
"Shit ... You're turning me on"
I smiled at what he said and approached him.
"I'm sorry if I mentioned Brick's name. I was just asking." I said and I heard him sigh.
"You said his name twice ..."
"Did I? It looks like I just mentioned his name once"
"You said his name earlier when you saw me chopping the ingredients, and you said that we're the same because the kitchen is a mess when we're cooking" He said with a tinge of sulkiness in his tone.
"I'm sorry ..." I said again.
"Okay. You're forgiven." He said, but I was still guilty of what I did so I kissed him on the cheek.
I saw the shock in his eyes again.
"Please, tell me what to do" I kissed his cheek again.
I saw that he blushed again and I was about to kiss him again on the cheek when he stopped me and looked at my face.
"Wait. I didn't expect you to be this clingy. You are different from the Vianne I first met" He said.
My cheeks blushed consciously and I was about to walk away from him when he immediately grab my hand, not letting me get away from him. My cheeks blushed even more when I saw him smiling as he looked at me. I seem to be getting clingy.  I used to remember that I was so mean to him, but now it's different and I can't believe I'm getting clingy to him.
"You're blushing." He said, smirking.
"You too." I replied to cover the shame I feel now.
He cleared his throat, and facing with me again.
"Atleast, I'm not clingy." He said and there is a teasing tone laced on his voice.
"Atleast, I'm not jealous." I mimic him.
He chuckle, and then he pull me towards him causing me to sit on his lap. My eyes widen to our position and I slowly feel how my cheeks burned.
I was about to stand when he pulled me again and hugged me.
"Logan ..." I said softly.
"I want to date with you today." He said softly.
My heart starting to beat fast when he said that.
"W-what?" I stammered.
He immediately broke away from hugging me and looked me in the eye. My heart was beating abnormally when I stared his handsome eyes.
"I'm keeping my promise, Vianne. I will date you today." He said then suddenly I remember his promise and I slowly smiled at him.

I am just looking outside, watching the tall buildings getting smaller whenever we get passed at it. I look at Logan who's driving.  When he sense that someone's watching him he turned his face on me.
"Yes, my love? Do you need anything?"  He ask.
My cheeks blushed because of what he said. My heart beat so fast whenever he called me using that endearment. When will I be able to get used to him calling me that.
I shook my head and smiled. He frowned and spoke.
"Then why are you looking at me?" He asked.
I just pout. Why? Am I not allowed to look at him?
"Why? Are you not allowed to look at?"  Pretending to be sulky.
"N-no ... I just wodering why are you looking at me if you don't need anything."  he stammered.
My cheeks blushed even more when I realized why I was looking at him. I was looking every corner of his face like I was memorizing it. I'm thankful that he is dumb, that he didn't notice I was simping over him.
Yes, I'm simping over him. I can't deny that he's extremely handsome. Ugh!  Vianne! What happened to you?
I reached the bottled water in front of me and drank it. When I drank the water, I was even more embarrassed of Logan when my stomach was growling.
"There's a near drive thru here. Let's stop for a while" He said.
Just a few minutes later, we stopped at a fast food chain and we ordered.
When our order arrived, Logan immediately handed me the food.
"Eat" he said and I nooded.
I took a bite on my hamburger and sip to my juice. I was busy eating when I notice Logan who struggled in eating so I got his burger and hold it for him.
He was stunned by what I did and looked at me.
"Eat" I said as I brought the burger closer to his mouth. He took a bite of it and continued to drive.
We just continued eating when he suddenly got choked by the food.
I quickly rummaged in a plastic bag where  we just bought, but I could not find any juice. Fearing that something bad might happen to him, I immediately put my juice in his mouth and he immediately drank it.
My cheeks warmed up when I realized that we’re doing indirect kiss using the straw.
Duh! You already kissed, Vianne! And now you are shy because of the indirect kiss?  Oh, come on!
Logan's face and ears were red and I don't know if it was because of embarrassment or because he choked.
"I think we lack an order. You don't have juice here in the plastic bag" I said.
"We didn't have a short order. I didn't order a juice" He replied.
I immediately frowned because of what he said.
"And why is that?" I ask. He should have ordered. What if he was thirsty? Where will he drink?
"I have bottled water so I didn't order it." He said so I looked at his water which was only slightly reduced unlike mine which was already low.
I just bowed down my head and closed my eyes because of shame. Why didn't I give him water to drink? Why did I give him my juice? I hope he didn't notice that we kissed indirectly.
I raised my head and looked at him when I heard him laugh softly. I could see his wide smile as he looked at me. I looked away from him, and just looked out the window. I know my cheeks are red again now with so much shame.
"I-I'll go to sleep first" I said to cover up my embarrassment. I would just pretend to sleep to avoid my embarrassment!
He chuckled then he cleared his throat.
"Okay. I'll wake you up when we get there" he said and I could hear the excitement in his tone.
I leaned against the window and closed my eyes tightly.
Ugh! That was so embarrassing, Vianne!
I felt around us and super quiet inside the car. I wanted to open my eyes, but I was still ashamed of Logan so I kept my eyes closed.
I just pretended to close my eyes and I didn't even realize that I had fallen asleep.

When I opened my eyes, I immediately looked at the driver's seat and when I saw that Logan was not there, I immediately panicked. I immediately removed the jacket surrounding my body. I immediately got out of the car and I immediately felt the strong wind hit my body, it was night.  I immediately cooled down but I just ignored it and looked around. There was a small house ahead that I just noticed. I saw Logan there laying food on a blanket with a bonfire in front.
I round my eyes again and saw in front of the house was a quiet lake and I could also see a hanging bridge. I was unfamiliar with the place so I immediately went to Logan.
"Oh, you're awake" he said so I nodded.  He helped me sit on a blanket that he put on and he immediately gave me a jacket that I accepted.
"Where are we?"  I asked him.
"We're in Zambales. This is my Grandma's house which is my mom's favorite place" He said, and I could see the wide smile on his lips but he couldn't hide the sadness in his eyes. He leaned over me and placed my plate with food.
"Thank you" I told him.  He also poured me juice into my glass and for a while we were silent.
"I brought you here because I know you're tired of the beach so I just brought you to the lake" he laughed so I laughed too.
"I don't want to take you to expensive restaurants because I want to be with you without so many people." He said and looked me in the eyes. "I want our first date to be special." He said and my heart beat faster as he slowly approached me.  His  eyes that were looking at me dropped to my lips. I was stunned by him when I felt him wipe my lips. When he finish wiping my lips, I blinked so many times before I averted my eyes on him.
To break the silence, he immediately started talking so we talked while eating.  Just a few minutes after we finished eating, he immediately held out his hand to me.  I frowned at him but he just smiled at me and didn't speak.
I immediately took his hand and stood up.  We walked to the river and I saw a small boat tied to a tree.
When we got there, Logan let go of my hand to untie the boat tied to the tree. I felt regret when he let go of my hand but my regret immediately disappeared when he took my hand again to support me on the boat.
"Where will we go?" I asked him.
"You'll know when we get there, my love" he said and took a thin wood then started paddling. Even in the dark, I could see the appearance of his veins everytime he moves. The light in the little boat and the moon served as a light in our dark surroundings.
I saw us walking away from the house we had stayed in.  I turned to Logan now who was still paddling.
"Let's switched, maybe you're tired" I said.
"No, just sit there. It's just going to be close so I'll take care of it"
I obeyed what he said and just looked at the moon following us and I immediately dipped my hand in the water. The water is not cold so it looks like it's nice to take a bath now.
I just looked at Logan and I couldn't help but look at his very handsome face.  I seem to be able to memorize his face because I've been looking at him before.
I just lost my sight when I noticed a light behind him. Gradually I saw the entirety of it and I was amazed at how beautiful it was.
There was a hanging bridge I saw surrounded by light that looked like it had been made into a curtain.  We slowly approached it until Logan stopped paddling and looked at me. I also looked at him but suddenly my sight was cut off from him when suddenly the boat stopped as if it had collided.
I looked at the water and I could see the rocks here. We are in the shallow part now.
I immediately looked at Logan when he held out his hand to me.  I accepted it and stood up, supporting me to get off the boat.
We walked over there and Logan immediately took off the lights that made curtains. After he left, I saw the table in the middle.
We approached the table and sat there.  There are foods placed but we didn’t move because we were full.
"This is unique nor have I seen it in shows or in real life" I said and looked at him.  I can see the redness on his face.
"D-Do you like it?" He stuttered.
I nodded and smiled at him. I closed my eyes feeling the quiet surroundings and fresh air.
I opened my eyes when I felt something cold in my neck.
"Stay still" Logan said as I tried to turn to him.  I looked at the necklace he put on me. A silver bead with a round shape and with a diamond in the middle.
"It looks good to you" He said after he put the necklace on me.
"Why are you giving it to me?" I asked.
"Remembrance for our first date" his short answer.
"You don't have to give me this" I said and looked at the beautiful necklace again.
"You were the first thing I remembered when I saw that necklace. It's beautiful just like you ..."
I looked at him when he said that and my heart raced when our eyes met.
I averted my eyes from him and looked around again.  There was a moment of silence when suddenly music rang out.  When I looked at Logan he had already dropped his phone where the music I heard came from.
He approached me and held out his hand.
"May I have this dance?"
In all my life, I have never been danced by a man and when I saw that someone had invited me to dance, I felt a strange thrill inside of me, especially now that my loved one had invited me.
I reached for his hand and slowly stood up. The water where we stand today is only knee-deep.
Logan took my hand and placed it around his neck.  I looked into his eyes and so did mine.
My heart beat faster when I felt his warm hand on my waist. It was as if electricity was flowing from my waist to my heart that was beating faster now.
I looked into his eyes which is my favorite spot on his face. The eyes that  familliar to me when our eyes first met. I don’t know why I’ve seen this eye before but I don’t remember.
"Logan ..." I called to him.
"Hmm?"  His response was calm.
"Do you know how I feel now?" I asked him.
There was concern in his eyes and he would have spoken when I spoke.
"I'm happy ..." I said and averted his eyes and leaned on his chest.
"I'm happy because I realized how lucky I am when you came into my life. You made a woman happy a few years deprived of happiness" I said while leaning on his chest. He remained silent and listened to me.
"Without you, I don't know if I will ever experienced meeting people, having a friend and feeling a heartbeat in a man" I slowly pulled away from him and looked him in the eyes.
"My heart beats faster when I'm with you, Logan. Do you know what is that means?" I confessed to him while still looking into his eyes.
"The feeling is new to me, but I'm sure this is not just an infatuation, Logan. My heart beats for you. Only for you. And I think this is the right time that I will say this ..."
I looked into his eyes with all my heart with an indescribable emotion etched there.
"I love you" my heart beat so fast as I said those three words. Three words that I thought I couldn't say to a guy.
Before he could speak, I immediately grab his nape and gave him a kiss.
