2 weeks after the incident on the art room, and starting that day, I would always bump into the member/s of the Core society- execpt for the 3 of course cause we're classmates.
I think they are monitoring me after that night, Sam and Liz are also confuse why on earth do I always bump into them? Especially Sofia's group.
Just like right now, I'm on my way to the female restroom and Kyle appeared out of no where just to question me some random things, like what's up with them?!
"So you're not free this afternoon too?" He asked.
"Like I said, I don't have time for attending your parties, tell that to Sofia and your Leader" I said and shoved him out of my way to get to the restroom.
These past few days, they've been asking me to attend their party this comming Saturday but as soon as I decline, another member would show up and ask me the same thing.
I sighed and washed my face and dried it using a paper towel, I just came back after lunch and my friends wanted to go to the library when I felt myself needing to go to the bathroom so I got seperated from them.
When I was done with my bussiness, I peaked outside the bathroom, making sure there was no Core society members around, when I coast is clear, I walked out the restroom normally.
"Are you sure you're not attending the party?" Elisha popped up the hallway.
"What the heck?!" I exclaimed.
"Oops" she giggled and ran away.
Elisha is a shy girl what she did really shook me, she's actually cute when she smile, I ruffled my hair in furstration and ran towards the library- more like jogging since I can't literally run because of these heels of mine.
When I got into the library, I skipped towards the place where I found a letter. I searched for the the book and found it on the higher shelf, I reach for it and flipped through the pages until I found the certain letter, this time it has a reply below my hand writing.
'Don't you know the word 'privacy?'' he wrote, I chuckled when I saw an angry face wrtitten after that, I look around before taking my pen and jotted down my reply.
'Well sorry, you do know a lot of people is reading 'books' inside this library yet you still hid this letter here' I said before folding it and stuck it back inside the pages and return it to the shelves.
I walked towards the other shelf to get some encyclopedia to read before sitting on one of the tables in the corner of the library, again we don't have any classes today, not even a single teacher showed up so everyone is having the time of their lives roaming around and some are still studying to get their grades higher.
I was busy with my book when my stomach grumbled, didn't I just ate a while ago? I check my wrist watch to see that it was already quarter to three.
I closed the book and headed over to the shelf to put it back there before searching for my two friends, I kept walking around the library until I found Sam with our other classmate, when she saw me, she immediately bid goodbye to her before walking up to me.
"Come on let's find our youngest" she chuckled and the search for Liz started.
After a couple of minutes walking around the place, we spotted our little Liz sleeping on the corner of the bookshelf, of course people won't notice her that easily.
"Aish this kid, sleeping everywhere" I clicked my tongue before sitting down and patted her arms lightly.
"Hey Liz, wake up" I said, she slowly opened her eyes and sat up while yawning.
"Time to go already? But I was dreaming with the man of my dreams" she frowned.
"Liz stop with the obssession towards kpop we're hungry" Sam butted in and that washed her sleepiness away.
"I'm hungry too, lets go!" she cheered.
The three of us walked out of the library and went back to our building to eat, when we have classes today, we wouldn't really feel hunger cause we're too busy copying some notes or listening to the teacher.
I bought some chocolate waffles and a chocolate shake, Sam has a taco and iced tea while Liz have ramen and some soda, we sat on our usual table and have a peaceful break.
"Cursetine~!!"
"Dang it" I cursed and kept my smile and face the girls, Sam chuckled when Liz choked on her ramen after seeing my reaction.
"I'm not comming!" I yelled the distance between us.
They all frowned.
"Aww bummer" Dhenzy faked a cry and I shrugged.
"I have trials for volleyball" I said.
"Ooh sweet, we'll be watching then!" Mahiro smiled and I hesitantly nodded and they left.
After taking our snacks, I went back to my dorm room to rest- not totally cause I'm doing some of my homework, I really don't feel like roaming around the campus getting interupt by some club members promoting their respective clubs for the other students- in short, I'm not a fan of crowded places.
When the bell rang, I hurriedly change into my gym uniform which is a black jogger pants with violet linings, a white not-so-fitted shirt and white rubber shoes, I made sure that my hair is tied up properly before taking my water bottle and headed out towards the covered court.
When I got there, Sam and Liz was already there, I greeted our club coordinator and coach before they assign us into groups of threes, luckily I end up having Sam and Liz on my team.
"Okay this is only a try out, first group to reach 15 points can already participate at any game while those who didn't win- don't worry, we'll be training you guys hard we won't kick you out of the club" our coach chuckled.
"Now let's start!" Our club coordinator cheered as we went to our places.
While the others are playing on the court, I observed their skills carefully, Sam and Liz were also dead silent. I'm good at tossing the ball but seeing the other people doing it, I can say I'm pretty bad at it.
"Good job, next group please" said our coach, the three of us stepped inside the court while our opponents eyed us from the other side of the net.
"Okay girls relax, we got this" Sam encourage us and we nodded.
The other team set the first serve, I received the ball and Liz manage to get it on the other side of the net but it didn't stopped there, the ball was spiked by the tall girl Sam received it this time and the came to me, a perfect spot to toss the ball.
I watched Liz's position and checked the ball once more before finding the open area for Liz to score the ball.
'Gotcha' I smiled mentally and tossed the ball to her and she spiked it to my predicted area, I smilled.
"Yes!" She cheered, well we made the first point.
"Uh-uh, not the time to celebrate girls, Tine, you serve" Sam called me, I nodded and one of our club members toss the ball to me.
"Thanks" I said before looking the distance between me and the net.
I should try the jump floater, but I can't garantee that it will work tho, I took a deep breath before taking all my focus on the weight of the ball in my hands.
Okay no pressure Tine, just like what you guys do at home, I got my stance ready when the referee blew her whistle, I tossed the ball in the air and hit the ball.
I'm not a fan of jump serves by the way, as expected, the ball didn't cooperate with me as the opponents caught it with no effort.
I sighed, at least it's not out right? Liz caught the ball and Sam made another point, goodness I was really not helping these two enough, I still haven't scored at least one.
My stamina is great but sometimes my body isn't cooperating, I hate jumping and doing a lot of things that makes me sweat too much, it gives me irritation.
Time flew by and we still manage to win even tho the score was 14-15, It was so close for us to lose. I didn't even get a chance to score, it was all Liz and Sam but at least we won.
"That was a great game your guys, but you" coach pointed at me, yeah I felt this comming.
"Yes coach?" I approached her.
"You're really good on setting the ball but you also need to score" she told me and I nodded.
"Understood" I smiled.
"Good game girl!" The other team nudged me happily.
"You guys were great too" I said and gave them a high five.
"Well congratulations everyone! Your try outs turned out well, we didn't expect to have such good players this year, please do be reminded that we'll have our practice after classes on the weekdays, got it?" Our club coordinator said.
"Yes miss" we all said in unsion.
"Alright everyone dismiss" she said and we all thanked them before parting ways.
"Catch!" Sam yelled and threw a towel on my face, Liz laughed.
"Why thank you Samantha" I rolled my eyes at the process yet she only smiled.
"You're welcome" she said as the three of us walked out the covered gym.
I was busy wiping off my sweat while the two are chatting, I feel so tired, we didn't even lasted an hour inside the court yet I'm too exhausted.
"Hear that Liz? My spikes are the best" Sam said as if she run the whole court a while ago, well she did okay? But that doesn't mean that she did it alone.
I chuckled and watch the two of them argue about who was better on scoring, when we reached our building, we parted ways and went to our respective rooms to have a quick refreshing bath.
I was about to unlock my room when I notice that it was already open, weird, I made sure that it's always locked whenever I leave, I twisted the door knob open to see a girl fixing her things on the other side of the room.
"Oh you're already here, I'm sorry I suddenly burst into the room" she smiled as soon as she recognize my pressence.
"That's fine, so are you Peirce's fiancé?" I asked her while removing my rubber shoes.
"H-how did you know?" She asked.
"Rumors, anyways, I'm Cursetine Belfour, but my friends calls me Tine" I said and extended my hand to her.
"Xiena Annika Holmes, you can call me Annie" she smiled and shook my hand.
"Welcome roomate, I'll take a shower first so you can finish fixing your things" I said and took some pajamas from my closet.
"Oh sure" she replied, I walked towards the bathroom.
"Also I'll accompany you to dinner so you can meet my friends" I added, she simply nod her head before I close the bathroom door.
Maybe Loraine was right, she's not that bad as a roomate. Xiena is far too opposite from Peirce and his group I wonder how did a kind soul like her ended up to marry someone who likes playing girl's hearts?
I shook my head and start my rituals inside the bathroom, once I was done I took my blower to dry up my hair before wearing my pajamas and went out the bathroom.
Annie was just sitting on her bed probably waiting for me. I charged my phone on my desk before taking my keys with me.
"Come on, let's go down the cafeteria" I said and opened the door, she nodded and took her phone on her desk as we left our room locked.
Before we get into the cafeteria, we stopped by Sam's room, Liz was already there leaning against the wall next to the door so I called out for her.
"Liz!" I called and approached her with Annie trailing behind me.
"Oh hey Tine" she greeted me.
"I'm off Loraine!" We turn to the door then Sam went out of it.
"You girls enjoy your dinner" Loraine responded before Sam closed the door.
"Hi girls" she cheered and hugged us.
I pulled Annie's arm closer to me.
"Guys, this is my new roomate Xiena Annika, Peirce's fiancé" I introduced her to the group.
"Oh, it's you! Hi I'm Sam short for Samantha and this is our youngest, Lizelle but you can call her Liz" Sam took her hand and shook it while Liz smiled sweetly.
"Please call me Annie" she smiled.
After the introduction, the four of us strolled down towards the cafeteria for dinner, we taught Annie how we order our food and also told her to always sit on our usual table because some of the students doesn't want their tables to be occupied.
"So how did a girl like you ended up getting engage with a playboy?" Sam asked Annie and she gave her a shrug, hmm same question as mine earlier.
"Business matters, same reasons like the others, well I really don't want to but our parents said that he'll eventually stop flirting girls when we got married" she answered and took a spoonful of food and munched it quitely.
"Aww poor you" Liz said sadly.
"Argh I really hate his guts" Annie frowned making us look at each other before laughing out loud.
"What?" Annie asked.
"You're not the only one who hates them" I giggled yet she still gives us a confused reaction.
"Their group always bully's us since the day we studied here" Liz said with full sarcasm.
"I can't say I'm suprise" Annie chuckled.
"Well there's this group called Core society short for Cards Organization society composing of 10 groups and 55 members in total. The 1st Card is containing the Headmaster, the 2nd Cards is composed of the Dean and Guidance councilor, 3rd Cards is composed of the top 3 teachers with the highest rank, the 4th Cards is composed of our bullies including your fiancé-" Sam was cutted off when Annie choked on her drink.
"Girl stop using the term 'fiancé' it makes me sick" she complained and we laughed.
"Anyways, the 5th Cards is composed of 5 females which are rarely to see around, 6th Cards a co-ed group who's families' are the shareholders of the school, 7th Cards contains 7 females while their twin group 8th Cards contains 8 males, the 9th Cards contains the lower ranked teachers and the 10th Cards is composed of the campus royalties and we're done" Sam finished her speech.
"Also most of the students would usually avoid bumping into them so we should to" Liz added.
"Like how? We're on the same class with the 4th Cards" I asked her.
"Good point, Annie, may I ask what your class is?" Liz asked.
"I think it's Crimson 4-B" She answered.
"Oh you're on the same class as my roomate Loraine, you can stick to her everytime" Sam clapped her hands.
"Sure, I think that's a good idea" Annie smiled.
After finishing dinner, the four of us delivered our trays on the open sink of the cafeteria before taking our exit, wooh! I'm so full, and not to mention, none of the Core society bothered me once again!
"Alright, we're gonna give you a tour tomorrow since it's Saturday, for now let's rest shall we?" I patted Annie shoulder and she nodded.
"That's settled then, good night everyone!" Liz yawned.
"Good night!" We all replied as we parted ways.
When me and Annie walked back to our dorm, she took a shower while I started working on my home work. It's just been 2 weeks yet here I am, getting piled up with a lot of homeworks and the deadlines are just in one day, I wonder how the h*ll did that Ace manage to get the same score as me even tho he's not studying?
I sighed, I'm over thinking things, I really want to beat him this year and I know he also wants to beat me as well, he's bullying tricks has been upgrading everyday with or without the help of his friends, now that the greatest playboy/prankster is back, I wonder what's waiting for me on the upcomming monday.
My thoughts suddenly ended when my phone rang, settled my pen down and reached for it, it's my older sister.
"Hello?" I greeted her happily.
"Aidoar! My one and only sister!" She cheered.
"What's up sis?" I asked her.
"Mom's been complaining cause you didn't reply to her message, so she pushed me to call you so- are you comming?" She asked almost immediately.
"I still have a tight schedule, but I'll see what I can do, tell mom that I'm looking forward to the event" I chuckled.
"So is that a yes?" She asked once again.
"We'll see" I teased then I heard her whinning from the other line.
"Josh! Mark! Perry! Talk to your princess!" Oh no, this evil side of her.
I heard a few rushing footsteps comming towards my sister's area then chaotic voices can be heard.
"Tinay! Long time no chat ey? How are you our youngest cousin?" Mark asked me, there goes that nickname they have for me again.
"Shut up and let me talk, Hi Tinay how's life?" Josh butted in the conversation.
"Guys let her speak" Perry told them.
"I'm fine guys thanks for worrying, how are your on the military? Is my sister still doing great working on the field?" I asked them.
"Work is great- wait didn't you know that Cristine is now back on the head quarters?" Mark asked, I raised my eyebrow in confusion.
What does he mean? Why would she work back on the head quarters when she finally achieve her dreams on working on the battle field? Did something happened.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"She-"
"Come on guys she's probably busy now, we'll go ahead good night Tinay" Perry said and ended the call.
"What was that?" I frowned.
I'm not dumb, I know something's not right back there on the military, they're all hiding something from me even my own best friend since I was born on this world, she hid it to me.
I sighed, I know I shouldn't let my anger take control of me, they just don't want me to worry about them, being in the military is not easy at all, I already expected worst than this and no matter how I prepare myself as long as I heard the word 'danger' it destroys my walls of comfort in a blink of an eye.
"You okay?" I quickly turn to Annie who just came out of the bathroom.
"Yeah, uhm you can head to bed first, I'll just finish my homework" I told her.
"Okay? Good night roomate" she gave me a soothing smile and I smiled back.
"Good night" I replied and went back on doing my homework.
