After our dinner, all of us returned to our respective dorm rooms, no one is allowed to leave this building while the investigation is still on going outside.
The elevator dinged, I tiredly dragged my body out the lift and walked towards my room, the door knob is already unlock, looks like Annie is already here, it's pretty late now actually, I twisted the door knob and pushed the door open.
"I'm back-" I was cut off through my words when I saw Annie shaking under the sheets of her bed.
I locked the door closed and drop my bag and other things on my desk before checking up on her, oh dear, what happened to her this time?
"H-hey what happened? Did Peirce hurted you again?" I asked her and her teary eyes stopped falling as she shook her head.
"I-it's- It fell from above" she whimpered in fear and bit her lower lip.
"What fell from above?" I asked her.
"The body!" She exclaimed, my eyes widened in shock as I scanned her body.
She's still wearing her uniform and a few blood stains was visible on it, she was there? It looks like it's actually near her since there's a little blood that splashed on her uniform.
"What do you mean? You were there when the girl jumped off the building?" I asked her, she held my shoulder lightly and look around the room as if someone is listening outside the walls.
"She didn't jump Tine, s-she was- it wasn't a suic*de, s-someone pushed her" she trembled, my knees weakened.
"How sure are you? Did you see who pushed her?" I asked her, she let go of me and shook her head.
"I don't know, she was wearing a face mask and her bangs are covering her eyes, she's also wearing a hoodie to cover her face and I know she'll hunt me down because she saw me looking at her" she sobbed.
"Shh, it's okay have some sleep I'm here" I hushed her and she nodded before laying down, still holding my hand.
When her cries died down, I carefully let go of her hand, what should I do? She's obviously in danger- we are in danger. After a few moments of thinking I finally made up my mind and took my phone.
I dialed Icer's number and it took a while before he picked it up.
"I'm busy" he immediately complained, I know that.
"Is Peirce there?" I asked him.
"He's busy talking with Joseph's team, why?" He answered.
"I think Annie- I mean Xiena- how should I put this?" I mumbled.
"Your wasting my time here Belfour" he scolded me.
"Xiena saw what really happened and said that it wasn't a suic*de at all" I blurted out, oh dear.
Silence filled the other line then I heard him calling for his group mates.
"Where are you?" He asked seriously, I told him our floor and dorm number and he ended the call without any word.
Is it possible for them to enter the girls' building? Yes, they have the power to do it so it's not a problem at all, tsk.
I pinched the bridge of my nose before sitting on my bed, Annie is asleep now, I know she can have a trauma by this event and I'm not sure if she's able to overcome it immediately.
I didn't wait that long when someone knocked on the door, I peeked through the little hole to make sure before opening the door, Peirce shove me out of the way but Icer manage to hold me in place.
I let them enter the room and Troy closed it, I watched how Peirce slowly approached the sleeping figure of Annie, he knelt on the floor to reach her level and woke her up.
"Xiena, hey wake up" he called her and she slowly opened her eyes, upon seeing his face Annie immediately sat up and attempted to hide but he caught her arms.
"H-hey it's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you" he said soothingly, Annie is still panicking as she look at our direction.
"Sorry, I called them" I told her, she look back at Peirce before taking a deep breath to calm down.
"Let's talk okay?" He said warmly and she nodded.
Okay now this is a new side of him actually, I mean, he just hurt her earlier and now here he is trying to calm her down from being too afraid to face him.
"The four of you, leave" Peirce glared at us.
"Hey this is-" I was about to complain when he looked back at Annie.
"Leave" he announced and I immediately rushed out the room, that was really creepy.
"Dude stop scaring her" Icer frowned while they step out of the room as well.
We heard the room locked and I sighed before leaning on the railing, I'm so tired and I badly wanna sleep yet I'm here outside my bullies, is this how it's suppose to be?
I kept complaining mentally while looking at the staircase boredly when something caught my attention, I walk towards the stairs and I saw her looking at me, once our eyes met, her eyes glowed in delight of m*rder like a total psychopath sending shivers down my spine, I gasp then I felt someone tugged my arm making me face him.
It was Ace "are planning to fall yourself over or what?" He asked irritately and I look back to where the girl was standing, it's gone, now this suddenly turned into something horror.
"What's wrong?" Troy asked me.
"S-She's there, I saw her, she's looking at me like a prey" I pointed towards the lower floor, they hissed.
She's wearing a face mask just like how Annie described earlier but right now, she's not wearing a hoodie but uniform but her hair is coffee brown tied into a neat bun.
"Death keep her safe, Troy let's go" Icer growled and they went downstairs to check it.
"It's not safe here" Ace held my wrist and dragged me away from the stairs.
My heart was racing at the moment, how did she manage to disappear in a matter of seconds? I feel like this school year has been more tougher than my last few years studying here.
"Calm down" he hissed and we stopped midway through the hallway as I tried to catch my breath.
"I'll be back imme- diately" we both look over the door that just opened, it was too late when I realize that he brought me to where Sam's room was located.
Due to her lack of sense to finish her speech, Loraine also peeked out the door and her eyes widened when she saw Ace holding my wrist.
"Hey!" She retorted and pulled me away from him.
"What is he doing here?" Sam asked me and checked my wrist.
"I-it's fine guys really, he actually helped me" I said but Loraine was busy glaring at him.
I sighed and explained to them what really happened, they were shock of course and became worried for Annie because we left her with Peirce who hurt her earlier this morning, we walked back our room even if Icer told us to stay away.
When we got to the hallway where my room is, Peirce walked out the door with a problematic face, we walked towards him immediately as he notice our presence.
"How is she?" I asked almost immeditely.
"She's really scared but she calmed down eventually so I tucked her to bed after asking a few questions" he messed his hair, I sighed in relief.
"Where's the Leader?" He suddenly ask.
"They went to check the lower floor" Ace answered him.
"Huh? What happened?" Peirce asked but it was too late for us to answer when Icer and Troy came back.
"We didn't saw anyone there, did you see what she look like?" Icer asked me.
"I don't know the lights were off on that part but her coffee hair is visible to see, she's wearing a face mask and I think she is holding a letter" I explained what I saw earlier.
Then I remember her giving me a creepy look, that was really creepy.
"I'll escort these two back to their rooms, the three of you should head back outside and don't bother saying something to the higher ups since we haven't got any evidence yet, thanks for informing us Cursetine" Icer said and I nodded before saying good night to Sam and Loraine who was still worried about me and Annie.
"Evidence? Xiena witnessed it" Troy said.
"Fxck it Troy! She's still recovering from what happened earlier" Peirce argued, us three ladies was shook to hear him being concern about his fiancé.
"He's right Troy, come on" Ace sighed and they leave, I entered my room and saw Annie sleeping peacefully on her bed.
I locked the door and turned on the secret camera on the corner of the room, just in case if someone manage to enter. It's already past 11 and I assume that there will be no classes for the rest of the week because of what happened so I decided to go to bed without doing my homework.

Morning came, as I predicted last night, the Dean announced that there will be a suspension of classes for the whole week and the guidance councilor also held a mental check up for everyone to assure that no one is depressed or suffering from any mental illness.
Me and Annie walked down to the cafeteria and the abience left us all so silent, probably still mourning for the lost of another schoolmate, Annie was so silent than usual as well.
From time to time, Icer would message me to check on us and I would replied that everything is going fine. After having our breakfast we walked back to our respective dorms, no one dared to roam around or even make any loud noise.
Annie was already done taking a shower so it was my turn, I took a warm bath- a quick one actually, I just don't feel like taking a long bath, after what happened last night? Maybe.
I blowed my hair dry and change into a white off shoulder dress and a pair of white sandals, I also tied my hair using a chopstick and applied some lipbalm.
"You slept peacefully last night, what did Peirce do to you?" I asked Annie who was busy reading a book, I mean- he could have let her drink some sleeping pills or stuff, gosh Tine you're being paranoid.
"Hmm? Nothing he just brushed my hair and it made me sleepy so I fell asleep comfortably" she answered and looked away, hiding her face.
I grinned, aish this girl- getting all shy after her fiancé tucked her to bed, how sweet, before I could even tease her the speaker suddenly rang and the Guidance Councilor spoke.
"Good morning again students, may I have the attention of the students in the class Crimson 4-B, please proceed to the clinic on your respective buildings, thank you" she said, Annie frowned and fixed her olive green dress and wore her doll shoes when someone knocked on the door.
I stood up and opened the door as my attention went back to Annie who suddenly spoke.
"I'll be back immediately so don't bother locking the door" she said.
"Sure, hey what are you doing here?" My eyebrow ceased when I saw the 4 of them standing outside our dorm room.
"I'm gonna accompany her" Peirce said and Annie rolled her eyes while tying her hair up.
"Sure I guess, Annie hurry up" I tapped the door and she glared at me.
I let the five of them argue for a minute and decided to call my mom, it didn't took so lobg when she answered it.
"Ai-ai! It's been a while for me to hear you voice again" she greeted in delight.
"Hey mom, I missed you, how are you guys?" I asked.
"Oh we're fine, your sister- together with your cousins are sent out to a mission but they'll be back next week" she said with a small giggle.
"Hey mom? Is big sis really back on the head quarters?" I asked her, and she suddenly fell silent but I heard her sighed deeply afterwards.
"To tell you the truth, no, when she got injured on her last battle I- we, your dad and I pushed her back in the head quarters but after 3 weeks of under recovery we let her back on the field" she told me with pure honesty, I sighed.
"Did you let her go to battles?" I asked once more.
"No we didn't, only on missions and private matters- I mean I don't decide for her but your dad insisted" she chuckled.
"Right, I get it thanks for telling me mom" I said.
"You desserve to know my dear, well I still need to attend a meeting with the General, I'll talk to you soon Ai, take care of yourself bye!" her cheerful voice, how I miss to hear that voice.
"I will mom, bye" I smiled and hand up before burrying my face into the open books on top of my desk.
Military life argh, I hummed and lifted my head to start working on with my homework, it's a good thing that I'm left alone here, so peaceful.
"Got any food there?" I fell on my chair when Icer spoke from behind me.
"What a scardy cat you are" he grinned and shuffled through my bookshelf.
"What are you two still doing here?" I frowned.
"Watching after you of course, do you think that psycho will let you off after you saw her?" He reasoned out, good point.
I stood up and went to the little cupboards at the side of the room, let's see, I have a few chips and bottled sodas here- I should asked them.
"Do you want anything?" I asked.
"Something spicy I suppose" Ace answered.
"Anything will do" Icer complied, I nodded and kept shuffling over the stock of chips until I find something.
"Here you go" I handed them the food before sitting on the chair and opened my soda.
Icer was reading one of my books while Ace is leaning against my bed while playing on his phone, okay they're both busy, now let me answer my homework.
Moments later the speaker once again rang and our attention shifted to it.
"Good morning students, may I have the attention of the students in the class Crimson 4-A, please proceed to the clinic on your respective buildings, thank you" the Guidance Councilor spoke and I cracked my fingers before standing up.
"That's our class" Icer said and returned the book on the shelf.
"You guys should go then" I told them while checking myself infront of the mirror.
"We don't need to attend it because we have a daily check up with the Guidance Councilor" Ace grinned.
Oh right, for the troubles they made these past school years? No wonder that they don't need to attend this. It's really a mystery to me why these four still didn't get kicked out of their positions after all those troubles.
Even the 3rd Cards isn't able to to tame them, these four has something that makes their bond so strong.
I was about to head out the door when the speaker once again rang, but this time it wasn't the guidance councilor's voice that spoke, but the Dean.
"4th Cards, please proceed to the Head Core's office, I repeat, 4th Cards please proceed to the Head Core's office right away" he said and the speaker died down.
"Oh man, do we really have to?" Ace complained.
"It's the headmaster calling Death, stop whining and let's fetch the two" Icer announced before turning to me.
"Ring me if something happeneds" he added and I nod my head.
When they left, I waited for Annie to come back before leaving, I told her to lock the door and whatever happeneds don't let anyone in, I also brought my phone and keys with me before leaving.
On my way to the clinic, I saw some of my female classmated and of course, Liz and Sam. Liz is wearing a baby blue shirt and black skirt while Sam is wearing a navy blue high waist shorts and lime off shoulder shirt, what a great combo.
We lined up infront of the clinic and waited for our names to be called, when it was my turn I took a deep breath before entering the clinic.
I greeted the school hired psychiatrist before sitting in front of her, she asked me some questions about school works and if I'm having a hard time studying too much because of the school's high standard on teaching and I answered honestly.
"How about taking enough rest?" She asked.
"I rest on every free time I have and try to get more sleep as I can" I replied and she jotted something down.
"Are you dating someone? Or did you two argued over something and it bothers you?" Hey! I get it that I'm single since birth but the question really struck me.
When my older sister is at this age, she had a lot of boyfriends so I wonder what happened to me, no boys got interested on me huh? Even my mom wants me to have one already because she's getting old- speaking by old but she's just 44 years old! She gave birth to my sister when she was 22 and we have a 5 years age gap and now she's saying that she's old?
"I'm not dating anyone miss" I answered awkwardly.
"Hmm? A beauty like that is hard to find, how come?" She joked but I simply crack a smile.
"Alright, I assume that's all, you're perfectly stable mentally, stay that way" she smiled.
"Got it, thank you" I smiled back before standing up, I bowed to her first before leaving the clinic.
I waited for Sam and Liz to finish their interview before the three of us head towards my room to fetch Annie for lunch.
I used my keys to open the door and called her, she was busy with her book but then immediately let go of it and joined us to have our lunch.
