Chapter 70 The Mourning

I took a deep breath before entering a large room where the remains of my human body were placed, the surroundings were quiet, no one was there, only my human body was here with some bodies of soldiers who had passed away.
I looked at my companion, they were also staring at my body before they looked at me.
"Try again Ksara," the old man said, I nodded and then exited Siir's body, which Cynrad immediately caught when it lost consciousness, I again held my human body that was in front of me and focused to get inside, but just like what happened to me earlier, my body doesn't accept me.
I looked at my two companions and then shook my head.
"I really don't understand," I whispered, the old man took a deep breath and then signaled that I had returned to Siir's body that's why I did it immediately, a while ago after what happened in the garden they brought me to Siir's room and they talked to me there, he asked if why am I here in Siir's body, something I explained to them.
He immediately believed what I said.
I explained to him that Siir has been dead for a long time, and only Mira's soul revived this body, something that Mira passed on to me so that I can use this body. I also told about the agreement that was made between Mira and Siir before, even the agreement between Mira and me and our plans.
I told Gabriel everything, I don't know where Alada and Mira are now, but I'm sure that Mira is already doing what she planned.
"According to the doctors, poison is what killed your human body," he said so I looked at him.
"Will I die too? I mean my soul." I asked, the old man shook his head while looking at me. "What will happen to me?" I ask.
I'm afraid that I might just disappear without Pavel knowing what really happened to me.
"You won't lose Ksara," he said then took a deep breath.
"Only your human body died, not your soul and spirit." He added, Cynrad stood next to me.
"You mean... Ksara is still alive but she's just a soul?" Cynrad asked.
"Yes like that," Gabriel answered. "As long as the spirit of a demon does not die neither does its soul," he added, I looked at my human body.
"How did my human body get poisoned?" I ask.
"There's an idea forming in my brain, it's possible that the one who merged with your body meant to drink poison," Cynrad said so I looked at him.
Suddenly I also thought that Alada can do it. I know Alada, she doesn't want anyone else to be happy but her.
"Grandpa Gabriel, isn't Siir's body already dead? Why can Ksara merge with Siir's body? Why can't she merge with her dead human body?" Cynrad asked something that also surprised me. I looked at the old man who was looking at my body and was thinking deeply.
There was silence between us.
"Maybe because of the agreement Mira and Siir made before," the old man answered. "Didn't you say that Siir made a deal with Mira before in exchange for her body? Maybe that's the reason why Ksara can now use Siir's body, that even though it's dead, it comes back to life when there's a soul merge." Gabriel explained.
"Then... I can't really use my human body anymore?" I asked, Cynrad took a deep breath and suddenly grabbed my left hand causing me to look at him.
"We just have to accept that," Cynrad said then looked at me, I looked at his eyes that were staring at me, but our gaze was only interrupted when we heard the opening of the door of the room where we were, at the same time the three of us turned to the person who opened the door and from where I was standing I saw Pavel stunned while looking at the three of us.
He suddenly looked at Cynrad and I's hand holding each other then looked away causing me to withdraw my hand from Cynrad's holding it.
"Pavel.."Immediately, Cynrad stopped me from approaching Pavel, I kept my eyes on Pavel who was walking towards my human body without emotion, my heart seemed to split when he passed me, he slowly carved into my eyes sadness then turned to him who was now holding the left hand of my human body.
"What are you doing here?" He asked coldly while staring at my human body.
"Your Highness." The old man called then approached Pavel.
"We are sorry for what happened to Ksara." he said so Pavel looked at him, a look that was searching.
"I don't know if the sadness you feel is real." Pavel said coldly to the old man causing him to stop.
"Pavel.."Cynrad called Pavel threateningly. Pavel turned to Cynrad who was next to me, our eyes met before he spoke.
"Do you really feel sad?" He asked Cynrad, the room suddenly went silent, I wanted to wipe the tears that fell from his eyes just now.
"It's like I don't know what I'm feeling." He said then looked at my human body, my tears immediately formed while looking at him.
"I feel like Ksara is still alive... I feel like Karma is still alive but as I look at her body I lose hope that maybe it was just a bad dream." He said sadly.
"Are you really feeling sad right now?" Pavel asked the two as he kept his eyes on my body.
"Because I.... I don't know." his voice suddenly broke as he said that.
"I want to believe in my feelings but I'm losing hope because of the reality I see." Pavel said, my tears flowed because of what he said.
Pavel I'm still alive, I'm just here behind you, I would like to say that but I can't, I don't have the strength to say that because I know it's hard to believe that thing.
"Your highness, we have to accept the truth, I'm sure when Ksara sees and hears you now she will be sad." The old man said, he looked at me as he said those things.
"I've been waiting for her for a long time." He said sadly. "Now it looks like everything will happen again, it looks like I'll be looking for her again." He said sadly, the old man approached Pavel and hugged him.
"I'm tired..." He said meaningfully so my tears started to fall.
"I also want to rest." My heart seemed to be destroyed because of the words he uttered.
"I want to rest next to her." He said crying while Gabriel hugged him, I covered my mouth to stop my sobbing. I can't bear to see him so sad.
"I've been waiting for her for hundreds of years." Pavel said crying to The old man who won't speak, he's only listening now while hugging Pavel.
"If only I could go back in time... if only I could go back to the past... I would never make a deal with the devil... I wouldn't have done that so she wouldn't suffer anymore." he said so I shook my head, I knew he was blaming himself again now.
"This is a few more deaths of Karma that I am witnessing." Pavel said like a child while crying in Gabriel's arms.
"Come on... Ksara is sad now too." The old man said and comforted Pavel who was still crying.
