“ Please sir I need freedom from you, I want to start my life afresh sir” Sophie requested from Mr David
Mr. David: hmm, you want to start your life afresh that's good, I know we have been keeping you in our house all this year and you deserve to have your freedom so when did you plan on going
Sophie: next tomorrow sir
Mr David: okay no problem, you are free to go whenever you like and live your life freely
Sophie: thank you so much, sir
Mr. David: Okay, have you prepared dinner?
Sophie: yes sir, should I serve yours
Mr. David: yes, but first ask my wife and daughter if they are ready to eat
Sophie: okay sir.
Everyone was ready to eat at the moment, Sophie served them all; she was doing everything as she has always been doing and no one noticed something is wrong with her.
Mr. David: Honey, you should look for someone who will help with the housework and cooking because Sophie is going next tomorrow
Mrs Hayden: what? Who gave her the freedom, she is staying here till she dies she is not leaving this place, never!
Zoey: Mum!
Mr David: if you like it or not she is leaving, and that is my final say; she has a life to live okay! And let her live It
Mrs Hayden: and that is none of my concern, she is not leaving here, I gave her a good life already at least am paying her monthly that life is enough for her.
Mr David: you are sick, honey you are so sick; I don't have anything to say to you
Have given her my consent to go and that's what she will do ( he said angrily and frustrated as he left his food and walk upstairs to the room, shaking his head in regret at the type of wife he chose to marry)

Sophie was in the kitchen eating listening to their conversation knowing sooner or later she will be called.
“Sophie! “ Mrs. Hayden called out her name in annoyance
Sophie: yes ma'am( she said silently as she walk up to her) here I am ma'am
Mrs. Hayden: oh, now you have wings, huh you want freedom? Do you want to be out of this house? Let me make something clear to you; you can never get freedom as far as I did not give you the freedom, you? Hahaha I don't think you know me yet enough if you know me you will not try this with me, no matter where you go I will hunt you down even if you are not under my shelter
Zoey: muuuum! Stop this you are going too far she is just a maid, let her go
Mrs Hayden: will you shut your mouth Zoey, what do you know? You know nothing (she shouts at her) yen yen yen she is just a maid ( mimicking her daughter) I will not hold you down and tell you not to go but know this and let it always stays at the back of your mind that no matter where you go, you are still under me and I can do anything I like and wish to do with you, you are dismissed.
Mrs Hayden looked at the food in her front agitated, frustrated because everything seems not to be going her way like it has always been, she was the one controlling everyone around her, especially her husband but now she is the one being controlled.
“Shit,” she said as she takes the plate with the food and throw it away
Zoey: Mum you just break a plate what is wrong with you, you are acting weird 👽 what the heck ( she stands up from the dining angry at the way her mum is behaving as she barges into her room)
Meanwhile, Sophie was not bothered a little bit by what is happening and how she was being threatened, she brings the broom to sweep the plates which had scattered on the floor and then pack all the plates in the dining, none of them finished their food so she packed it to give their dog then washed all the plates, cleared the kitchen and goes inside her room to arrange all her belongings.

After breaking the plates, Mrs. Hayden walks to her room in annoyance, frustrated, and dresses herself up then go out without telling anyone and no one knowing her destination.
It was getting late and she hasn't come back from where she went to both her husband and daughter were worried and starts to call her number but it was not reachable then they decided to go to her usual spot where she does go sometimes in the night.
