The woman could only look at the couple who were whispering to each other in front of her. Her gaze trailed off to Kaizer’s hand that was holding Lauren’s waist. By looking at them you can see how well their chemistry was with each other. They suit each other.
“I don’t even know you and I don’t want to meddle in your problem.” Lauren firmly said in a whisper.
She took a vacation to get away from the problem even for a moment, but who would have thought that in less than a day… Seriously? She was only there for a few hours but there was already a problem. It seems luck wasn't in her life. 
“Just this one miss. I promise I will pay you back. Anything you want in return for your help." Kaizer whispered back to Lauren.
Kaizer doesn't even want to ask for help from others, but in his current circumstances, he has no choice. 
He noticed a while ago that the woman has no interest in him and it was a sign for him to ask for help from her. Because if it’s another woman, that’s definitely going to be his problem afterward. He could only sigh about the situation he was in.
“Love, please don’t be mad at me. Hmm…?”
Lauren could only shake her head. What else can she do? If she did not comply with what he wanted, she might not be able to return home… alive. 
And they might find her body floating in the sea. Kidding aside, although her life was difficult... she would still choose to live.
Lauren took a deep breath first before speaking and seemed irritated when she looked at Kaizer. 
“Where have you been? I've been waiting here for some time.” Her left eyebrow raised when she asked Kaizer. In the end, made up her mind and decided to help him. 
He couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief after hearing her response to his request. It's great that she understood what he was trying to do right away.
“Sorry, I just need to meet some business partners. I didn't mean to leave you here alone.” Lauren secretly smirked because of his reason. He's quick to make up an excuse. 
Well, she already started it, just as well play along with it. Lauren crossed her arms in front of her chest.
“You mean, she's one of your business partners?” Lauren asks, emphasizing the word business partner, then looks at the woman from head to toe.
Upon seeing Lauren's face up close, he was reminded of someone. But he has no time to remember that person.
Lauren smiles at Claudia. Her sweet smile makes Claudia shiver and feels like a cold sweat was dripping into her body. She didn't know but she felt intimidated by Lauren's presence.
“Ah... D-don't get me wrong. I didn't know that he really had a girlfriend. I thought it was a joke when he said that.”
Lauren wants to smash Kaizer's face for making Claudia look so pitiful. And for making her an escape route. Lauren shifted her gaze from the woman then to Kaizer who still hadn't removed her hand from her waist. 
She's getting uncomfortable with how intimate they are. She's not used to that kind of gesture. She never had a dating life, to begin with!
By looking at his dominating presence, Lauren was sure that he was one of those bachelors that were wealthy and powerful. Plus, with the good looks, all in all… he was a complete package. No wonder this woman kept on chasing and clinging to him.
Who would reject this man, right? Other than her, it looks like no single lady would deny having a relationship with him.
“Unfortunately, it’s not a joke. Now that you know that he has a girlfriend, I’m pretty sure you will stop chasing him, right?” Lauren's cold remarks.
Lauren could only wish that this drama would end because she was really hungry right now. She wanted to beat herself right now. She should have gone straight to the food hall, why did she even think of staying a little longer here? She became an instant actress in no time.
Claudia didn’t know how she would react that time. Lauren might think that she’s so desperate for Kaizer right now. But, she’s far from that and if she knew their relationship from the very beginning, she wouldn’t cling to him like that. Yes, she’s somewhat attractive to him but learning that he had a girlfriend… She knows her limit. 
But, how could Claudia promise that she wouldn’t follow him when Kaizer was the top reason she was on that cruise ship trip?
Kaizer felt the intensity of Lauren's gaze. A sign that she was asking for some help. Instead of looking at Claudia, he looks at Lauren warmly and even smiles at her. “You must be hungry, let's go inside.” Before Claudia could react, he swiftly left by dragging Lauren and leaving Claudia alone.
Claudia gritted her teeth and cursed as she could only look at the couple walking away from her. She was extremely pissed off.
She only agreed to go on that cruise ship because of their company's problem and only Kaizer could help with it. The CEO of Emerald Corporation, aside from that, he’s the vice president of Falcon Empire. One of the well-known multi-industry companies. It would be a great help to their company and family status.

Lauren instantly drew back her hand that Kaizer was holding once she saw they were far away and already entered the cruise ship. Lauren simply massaged his hand.
When Kaizer observed the girl's wrist was reddened from his grip a while ago, he immediately apologized to her, "I'm sorry." Kaizer was in a rush to get away and didn't know his grasp on the woman's wrist was too tight. 
Lauren kept quiet at the corner. She had no idea what to say and didn't want to speak either.
The silence breaks, when a growling sound that came from Lauren's stomach was heard. Lauren wants to dig up a hole and bury herself because of embarrassment.
Kaizer let out a chuckle. At this moment he remembers the face of the girl who bumps into him at the club.
‘It’s her!’
The light that night was enough for him to clearly see her face and remember it.  
Kaizer chuckles again. What a coincidence!
Lauren believes the man's actions have made her face even redder. For sure, she looks like a tomato right now.
Kaizer assistant's, Jason, hurriedly walked to where his boss and Lauren were. He let out a sigh of relief knowing his boss was not in a foul mood. Instead, he seems happy.
"Shall we eat?" He warmly said then offered his hand. Lauren almost opens her mouth to say something when he cuts her off. "Please don't reject my offer and your stomach is already complaining, for you to refuse it." Kaizer teasingly stated.
Even though she looked like a tomato out of embarrassment, she accepted his offer. 
Upon hearing what his boss stated, Jason spoke to inform Kaizer. “Sir, I already made arrangements for you.”
He ignored him. It's as if Kaizer did not hear anything. Instead, he looked at Lauren and put her left arm around his right arm. 
When Jason saw his boss laughing, he felt he'd survive. But if Lauren leaves, it looks like he will not be safe after leaving his boss earlier with Claudia.
Kaizer only looks at Jason. He didn’t say any words to him but it was like his eyes were telling him… ‘What are you waiting for? Move!'
Despite the nervousness he was feeling at that time, he managed to smile and act well.
'Keep calm and don't mess up.' Jason repeatedly said to himself.
Jason leads the way to the suite where Kaizer was staying.
The place was so spacious that Lauren spaced out for a moment. It was bigger than her room in their house. Aside from being spacious, all the things you need are there.
After Lauren was done looking around the room, her gaze shifted to Kaizer. Upon looking at him for some time, his face became familiar to her. Lauren didn't realize that Kaizer was looking at her. She was too busy thinking about where she had actually seen the man.
"Oh my gosh!" Lauren exclaimed. She covered her mouth after that.
Kaizer was shocked and frowned at her actions. 'Did she possess some spirits?'  He thought.
Lauren's eyes widened while staring at Kaizer. "YOU!" she stated.
"What about me?" Kaizer asked. He had no idea what was happening. It looks like she's indeed hungry, that's why she doesn't know what she is doing. He was just shaken by the thought.
"You're Kaizer Alvarez!" Lauren gasped at the revelation. "Meaning to say, you are the owner of the famous and well-known Emerald Corporation. You are also Vice-Chairman ng Falcon Empire! The young heir behind the success of Falcon Empire in just three years when it was on the brink of bankruptcy." she added. The shock was written all over her face.
"You seem to know a lot about the business industry."
She wanted to crack his head earlier just to figure out who the man was. And when she remembered who it was, she didn’t know if she would be happy, especially that she was with him right now, or scared because she didn’t immediately recognize him.
