Lauren had nothing else to do so she just stayed there for a while. She only had one week on the cruise ship. It would be a waste if she chose to stay inside her cabin. She heard that many events were prepared for the entire week. Aside from that, there are a lot of activities you can do onboard. Starting tonight, she will make sure that she will have fun.
Kaizer went back to his business, while Lauren was listening to music and eating the snacks prepared for her. They were minding each other’s business. And even though there was a deafening silence between them, they were comfortable with each other.
When Lauren saw how long she had been sitting there, she prepared to leave. She stands up and bids farewell to him.
“I’m going first. I need to rest before going to battle.” She jokingly said. Kaizer laughed at what she had said then nodded
The time Lauren left was also the time when Jason arrived.
“Prepare a dress for Lauren that she can wear at the party tonight and assign someone to assist her.”
Jason could only nod. He could do nothing but obey his master, even if his orders were too sudden. He needs time to prepare!
His problem now is how he was able to find a dress for Lauren since he doesn't know her body size. To lighten up his mood, he just thought that maybe this was what he had been waiting for all this time… for his boss to have a girlfriend. He thought that if Kaizer had a girlfriend, it would somehow make him change his attitude. That someone will melt his cold heart.

Lauren had just finished taking a bath and was able to rest for a while. She took a bath to get ready for the party they will be attending later. It would be better if she's all set that early, hence in case someone comes to pick her up, everything will be fine and ready. Because she forgot to ask Kaizer what time the party was.
She was busy drying her hair when she heard a knock on the door. She immediately walked to the door to see who it was.
Lauren saw Kaizer's assistant outside and he was accompanied by three women. She opened the door for them.
They were carrying some things that she did not know what they were for. Before she could ask she was also pulled into the room. Jason entered first and his companions followed while holding her.
Before Jason left he even smiled and bowed at her. Lauren just looked in the direction of the bathroom where he came from. Looks like that's where he put the thing he was carrying earlier.
'Sometimes she thought that maybe it would feel nice to beat his people, especially Kaizer.'
Lauren irritatingly looked at the three women. They just smiled as if they didn't notice Lauren's irritation. “Wait, wait… hold on a second. Who are you? All of a sudden, you enter my room without permission. ”
The woman wearing the off-shoulder dress awkwardly scratched her head before answering her question. "I'm sorry Miss, I was just doing what I’m instructed to do."
With what she said, Lauren didn't have to ask who instructed it. She could only think of one person who ordered that. And that person was the only one she met and was able to accompany her on the cruise ship.
“We have to start.” Huh? What start is she talking about? Lauren confusingly asks herself.
“Start? What are you talking about?”
Lauren felt goosebumps all over her body at the way the woman smiled. She unconsciously hugged her body to protect it. 'Did I choose the right decision?'
“Your makeover. Let's start with your hair and make-up.” She couldn’t do anything as she sat down and faced the mirror.
Lauren sighs numerous times during her hair and make-up. She also doesn’t know what time it is, and when will they finish what they are doing to her.
They didn’t discuss it earlier. Lauren only wanted to dress up a little to look presentable. She has also found a dress that she thinks will be suitable for the party they are going to later. She thought so. But the truth is, she wasn’t sure. At first, she had no plans - it was really none of her plans.
But to the things happening to her now, she doesn't really know anymore.
One of them did a manicure on her hands and feet. While the two were busy with her face and hair. Even though Lauren was already tired and felt numb after sitting for several hours, she could do nothing. Surely they would shout again at her if she planned to move even just a little bit
After a few hours, finally… it was over. But when she stood up so that she could do some stretching, she was immediately pulled and brought to the front of the bathroom.
"What am I going to do here?" Lauren asked as her hand pointed at the bathroom door. The two women were busy arranging things, so the one wearing a dress assisted Lauren.
 
“You will get dressed. The dress was already inside the bathroom. Just call us if you need help.” The woman replied then slightly pushed her closer to the door. 
Lauren quietly entered the bathroom. She faced the dress that was hanging near the mirror then she closed the bathroom door after. This is definitely what Jason put inside earlier when he went to the bathroom.
It was a miracle that she successfully wore the dress without anyone’s help.
It was an ocean blue silk evening dress. At the top of the sink, there’s a pair of black stiletto ankle straps. Luckily, due to the nature of her work, Lauren was accustomed to wearing heels.
Before going out of the bathroom, she looks at the mirror once more. It feels surreal. Her, wearing a luxury dress, and even her face was covered with beautiful makeup. All for a party, she knows nothing about.
The three girls finished organizing their things. They giggled when they saw Lauren walking out of the bathroom. The dress suits her very well. They feel as if they are looking at a noble lady. All in all, she exudes a calm and elegant aura. She looks innocent, but at the same time radiates a powerful presence.
“Let’s go.” The woman said while smiling at her. She even clings her arm to Lauren’s arm. If you look at them, you will assume that they were close to each other. But the truth is, they don’t even know each other’s names. 
Lauren frowned at their actions. “Why are you also taking me?” She doesn’t have a clue about what’s going on.
“Because we are escorting you to him!”
She’s definitely a great match for him, the three women thought.

It wasn't her first time to be in his stateroom, but for the second time around… it made her nervous. 
Lauren was in the living area, waiting for Kaizer to come. Jason informs her that Kaizer was finishing some business-related matter and he’s on his way any minute from now.
She thinks that maybe it was really about work that’s why Kaizer went to the cruise ship and not for a vacation or leisure. Every time he sees him, there’s always a document facing him. Because of how busy he is with matters at his company, for sure he doesn’t have time to relax. 
She forgot to pick up her cell phone that was in the drawer next to her bed. In haste, she only got her pouch. Fortunately, the room card was inside her pouch. 
The sky has already turned dark and she doesn't know what time it is. Lauren just wished that they weren't late for the party. She doesn’t want to cause a scene if ever. 
But, even if they arrive at the right time if Kaizer is with her… It will surely grab other people’s attention. Lauren could only bow her head at that thought.
"What happened to you?"
She jolted in shock after hearing his voice. Lauren looked up after that. Due to the shock, she was frozen in her seat. Who wouldn’t be surprised if when you look up, your faces are close to each other? Only an inch away from one another. 
"Hey, are you alright?"
Concern was shown on the man's face after he saw Lauren’s reaction. She flinched when he touched her shoulder. "I-I'm alright. Hehe, you don't need to worry. I’m just a little bit surprised by your sudden presence." Lauren confessed.
Kaizer just nodded. He stands properly and then offers his hand to Lauren. "Shall we go?"
 
Lauren smilingly nods as a sign of agreement. She stands up and puts her hand on top of Kaizers palm. Kaizer put Lauren's arm around his arm then they walked out of the room.
"Have you been waiting long?"
Lauren shakes her head before answering his question. "Not really. Actually, I only arrived a few minutes before you."
“Anyway, we are not late yet… are we?”
He looks at Lauren. “What if we are?”
Lauren was feeling much more nervous by his response. “Don’t be like that, it makes me feel very nervous than I was feeling earlier.”
“Where is the courageous woman I talked to earlier? She even challenged me. Kidding aside don’t be nervous, I’m with you.”
Lauren rolled her eyes due to what he said. That's the reason why she’s feeling nervous… it is because she’s with Kaizer. As much as possible, she doesn’t want attention. The appearance of the man was enough to capture everyone’s attention.
