"Can you give me a sign?" she said staring at the dark night sky.
"Sign if it's a good decision to marry him." she added.
She almost freaked out to see a wishing star just passed by.
"Oh my God." she whispered
And that she decided to make a wish.
"I wish to have a beautiful married life with Ash even we don't love each other." she said closing her eyes.
She sighed and stares the stars. God gave her the sign she want and now she was so happy and very relieved to marry him.
"We might not love each other, but I guess we can learn how to love each other. I believe that." she said smiling.
Ivanna was thinking positive for her future, thinking Ash's face near her, she keeps on giggling. Ash was also on his veranda thinking so deep. His mom was behind him, she knows he was thinking for his ex again.
"Dwayne." she said.
"Mom." he said.
"I know you're thinking about her again." she said.
Ash didn't react, his mother really knew him. Mothers knows best as they said, his mom joined him while staring at the night sky.
"Dwayne, you have to let go of your past especially Ivanna is going to be your wife." she said.
Ash didn't answer her.
"I know it's hard but keeping the past to your future might hurt your present future." Genevieve told her son.
She knows that her son might get her point, her son is so smart.
"I know." he said.
Genevieve caressed his arms.
"I know it's hard, but you have to, letting go is what you need. If she really loves you, she'll go back but she has no time and position to your heart already." she said pointing his chest.
Ash was very hurt when Rhea didn't hold onto him, his world was turning around her.
"Ivanna is so nice, she's better than her." she added.
"No, they're not the same. Please don't compare them." he said.
Genevieve just sighed and left him. Ash was staring at the sky.
"They're not the same, Rhea is my past and Ivanna is going to be my present future." he said.
Ash already accepted his fate to marry Ivanna.
"I wish there's a sign for me to follow my decision." he said.
He waited and then a wishing star came, he smiled.
"Thank you." he murmured.
He knows inside him that he's going to learn to love Ivanna. As his best friend told him, Who would fall for that kind of girl?
"She's so silly, stubborn, bubbly, stupid, and funny." he murmured.
He found himself smiling while thinking her face while sleeping a while back to his sofa.
"Silly girl." he whispered and shooks his head.
He went to his room, wanting to call her. He was holding his phone, he wanted to call his fiancee.
"there's no harm in calling." he said.
He dialed Ivanna's number to his phone, you might be wondering why he knows her number. Of course, it's his mother who saved it.
Ivanna was startled to see her phone was ringing.
"unknown number." she murmured.
But there's a part inside her telling her to answer it, she clears her throat.
"Hello, who's this?" she asked.
"It's me." Ash said.
She was bewildered.
"Ash, you called." she said.
"I just wanted to make sure you're fine." he said.
Ivanna was feeling some butterflies to her stomach.
"Why?" she asked, hiding her giggled.
"Nothing, it's just that I am feeling a little bit guilty." he said.
Ivanna wanted to laugh.
"Oh, I'm fine. The doctor just told me to have a rest." she said.
Ash was feeling guilty inside him again, he sighed.
"I'm so sorry. It's my fault, If I never told you to read, that's not going to happen to you." he said, feeling guilty.
"Hey, don't be too harsh on yourself. It's my dault, don't blame yourself." she said.
Ash was being confronted by her, Ivanna wanted to make a story with him but she was feeling sleepy.
"I think I'm going to end the phone already." she said.
"Okay, good night." Ash said.
Ivanna was smiling so much.
"Good night, too." she said.
It was her who ended the call, she grabs her pillow and covered it to her face.
"Wahhhh!" she shouted.
"Dang, what was that?" she said.
She felt so beautiful with him calling her in the middle of the night just to ask her if she's okay and fine.
"See, he's really moody!" she murmured again.
Ivanna decided to stalk him online, she saves many of his pictures and decided to develop it.
"I'm going to take this for remembrance, not that I like him." she said talking to herself.
She puts them to her extra album. Ash was relieved after making a call with her. He was merely smiling. Ivanna is so happy to be with, she's that bubbly and she knows how to entertain people much.
"She's really something." he murmured.
He doesn't know, his dad and his mom heard him talking to her over the phone. They were very happy.
"Finally! they've been in touched to each other." Genevieve was happy.
"I know, don't stress yourself too much to celebrate there." her husband told her.
She just glared at him.
"Abraham, I'll be the happiest mom ever if he's going to marry Ivanna." she said with her high pitch voice.
"Gene, slow down. He might heard us." he said.
"Ohh, I sorry." she whispered laughing.
They have a reason for binding their children. One main reason is that, they want their children to marry a better person. They don't want them to marry someone that might destroy their marriage. As being an heir/heiress, they need to situate whom they are marrying. They know, they'll learn to love each other. It's not that hard to learn, what more in learning to love someone who's always with you by your side at all times.
