Adrian was playing with him while waiting for the food to be all cook.
"What's your name, uncle?" Adrian ask,
"You can call me uncle Dwayne." he said.
"Wow, you have such a nice name and you're also handsome." Adrian said, he was smiling.
"Thank you, your name is also beautiful and you're handsome, either." Ash said to him.
Adrian joyed, he loves to be admired the most. Grandpa Leo joined them.
"So, you and wife just got married?" he asks.
Ash nodded.
"let me guess, arranged?" he asks.
Ash was stunned, how did grandpa knew it.
"Yes, you're right." Ash said.
Leo smiled/
"Hmm, nowadays specially those who are so wealthy. They let their children to marry for a contract but I guess your parents have a reason why they let the both of you marry." he said.
Ash was thinking of it, he barely knew his parents. He knows that they doesn't like Andrea from the first place but they were just trying to accept her for the sake of him.
"Maybe, parents knows best." Ash said.
"You're right." Grandpa Leo said.
Granpa Leo shared his story with him, his story with his deceased wife. It was turned out that his wife came to a wealthy family and he's just a normal employer to his wife's company.
"We adored and loved each other, but when her father knew about us. He became angry, he wants us to separate. My wife's mother wasn't angry with us, it's just her father." He said.
Ash was just listening to his story.
"My wife doesn't want to leave me, even I told her to leave me that I can't give her the life she wanted. One day, she ran out from their house and went to me. Her father found out, he went to my house and confronted me, my wife that day hide to my room and I lied telling to her dad she's not with me. It turns out, her father arranged a marriage for her and one of her partner's son." he said.
Ash could see the sadness in grandpa's eyes.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Ash said.
"It's okay, I just want to tell you." Grandpa said, smiled.
He continued to share his story.
"My wife went home to tell her parents, that she's not going to marry someone unless it's me. That day, she gave up her inheritance and money just for me. You know how I am blessed with that. We have a child, that's our daughter Cathering." he said, pointing his daughter whom his wife was helping setting the table.
Ash thought, he was so blesses that his parents loves and adores his wife so much.
"Son, you have to take and learn a lesson. Every thing happens for a reason, but I know my experience isn't the same as yours. I can see that you and your wife in the future would have such a cute couple. Treasure each other, don't loose your trust. I know you can learn to love each other." that statement of grandpa hits him..
"Ivanna, your husband is so handsome." Catherine said.
Ivanna smiled.
"Him? oh dear yes." Ivanna, proudly said.
They both set the table and called them for dinner. Grandpa take the lead to pray.
"Okay, we can eat now." he said.
Ash was so embarassed the way his wife eats, but Catherine and grandpa loves her to watch.
"Big sister, you really know how to cook." she said.
"Thank you, it's my pleasure." Catherine said, smiling.
"Catherine has a small restaurant, you can go and eat there sometimes." grandpa said.
they asked where it was located. Ivanna told her, that she's going to visit sometimes. Catherine was happy and told her she loved to welcome her.
"Thank you for inviting us." Ash said.
Granpa Leo send them outside their door.
"Thank you so much, again." Ivanna said too.
Grandpa was happy, he was amazed by them. They already left and decided to go home.
"They're such a nice and happy family, right." Ivanna told Ash.
"Yeah, they really are." he said.
Ash was thinking for what grandpa told him, he has a point and he wanted Ash to think about it. Ivanna keeps on talking but Ash was just mute. Ivanna faced him.
"Hey." she said.
"What?" Ash asked.
"You're spacing out." she said.
"oh, is that so." he said.
Ash opened the door, Ivanna was happy because she's so full. She sat to the sofa, while caressing her belly.
"Yucks, you have a big belly." Ash said.
"Shut up, i'm just full and I'm sexy for your information." she said.
Ash acted, wanting to vomit. Ivanna threw the small pillow to him,but Ash threw it back to her. Ash went ahead and decided to brush his teeth and wash his face for him to lie down already. Ivanna went behind him.
"You should sleep also, we're going to be early for tomorrow." Ash told her.
"Okay." she just said and threw her body to the bed.
"God, will you slow down?" he said.
Ivanna scoffs and turns her back, they put the pillow in between them but Ash was still worried that the pillow might fall so he made it sure.
"Jesus, I'm not going to hug you or what." Ivanna said.
"I'm just making sure." he said.
Ivanna rolls her eyes.
"Aren't you going to brush and wash?" he asked her.
But she was so full that she can't move properly.
"I'm full, my body's lazy." she said.
"Psh." all he said.
Ivanna dozed to sleep already because she ate too many. She was snoring and Ash couldn't get his sleep.
"What the heck is this woman? is she really a woman!" he complained.
Ivanna couldn't hear him, Ash decided to kick her foot but still, snoring as ever. He was pissed and he grabs his headphone and puts on the music. He was relieved and now that he can sleep peacefully without hearing her snoring.
