ALORA EMBRY
I was a bit please that the meeting ended and that everyone was willing to go to war with Wren. Well, if they don't I will send them to the battlefield to make sure that they will be the ones who will die first. I talked to my family for a minute and they will stay in the palace in a meantime.
"Brother Kio." He look at me and I handed to him the teleportation scroll.
"And why are you giving me this?"
"Your son will be born soon I want you to be on her side, we can handle the frontlines. Just make sure that your family will be safe, protect them and the twins." He went silent after that just staring at the scroll in his hand.
"Yes, thank you."
"If someone dares to attack the duchy, release Arlene's restrain and tell her to release my babies. By that everyone will be safe."
"I will keep that on my mind."
"You go now, tell to the twins that I miss them." He nodded and talk to mother and father for a second before he leave using the scroll.
"You give the scroll to him." I look at my brother and nod.
"Sister needs him and while he was in the duchy he will sure protect the twins."
"You must leave now to and take a rest." Brother Kaden said and I nod.
"I will see you later."
"And look at Damien, he's been sulking since the meeting." I turned and take a look at Damien, sulking you say? But he looks fine in my eyes.
"I say that he is not."
"If you just saw his face a while ago, Haa. Seriously, why I am busy thinking about other's life." Brother didn't bother to listen to what I would like to say and just left. I watch him follow the maid he must be tired. I approach Damien who was talking to the Crown Prince.
"Damien, let's go."
"Where's Kaden and Kio?"
"Well, Brother Kio just left to be with sister Ellen, brother Kaden just left he must be going to rest."
"Ah, pardon me Crown Prince we must leave now."
"Why don't you too just stay here like others?"
"Thank you for asking but there is something I do want to talk about her."
"Yes, then we bid you goodbye."
"Then take care, Sir, My Lady." We bow our heads and we bid our goodbyes to our parents. As we walk through the halls of the Palace, Damien was silently walking beside me. He has this serious face and now I understand why my brother said that he was sulking. If someone were to bump with him accidentally I bet he would burst in anger.
But why is he acting like this?
"Go to the Rose Gold Hotel."
"Huh, we are going to the hotel and not to the academy?"
"Alora they closed the academy so basically we can't stay there."
"I see, that's sad I enjoy staying in that small room." He didn't say anything after that and just stare outside. Is he mad at me? It was a trip that was filled with an awkward silence, I scoff when I saw his unpleasant face while he was helping me to get down in the carriage. "Damien."
"Yes?" you can hear in his voice that he was irritated, this is not the first time he acts like this but when he does, he was hard to tame.
"Why are you so irritated about?"
"Hah!" he look at me ridiculously and my eyes widened when he clicked his tongue and cursed under his breath. "Pure bullshit."
"This guy- ugh, what's with him? Damien wait for me!" I was walking fast so I can catch up to him but he vanished when I get inside, he did leave me here. So, where should I go now? I don't know if he books a room for me, should I just go back to the palace and stay there? "That idiot."
"I greet the Lady from the house of Astley." I look at the lady who suddenly greet me, she was wearing a beautiful smile and when I recognize her I slightly bow my head and flash a smile.
"It's a pleasure to meet the owner of Rose Gold Hotel, Lady Rose Hilderun."
"Care to join me for a tea?"
"With pleasure." I follow her and we enter a room and I was amazed when I saw a garden. My nose was pleased by the scent of flowers.
"What do you think?"
"It was fantastic, I was delighted by the smell of flowers."
"That was good to hear, please take a seat."
"Thank you."
"This is the famous Rose Gold tea that we do import from the west. Hope it was to your liking." I nod and smell it.
"Such a nice fragrance." she smiled and wait for me to take a sip. "I like it."
"I was glad you like it. I heard what happened to the academy."
"Yeah, some of the students were traumatized by the attack. "
"Won't it give a bad image to the academy?" I stare at her and nod. She was once a student at the academy and I heard that she was also a member of the board.
"Yes, they were sending back the students and temporarily closed the academy. The incident I think it was for the best because they look onto strengthening security for the student's safety. If they just do it after the attack of the ogre then there will be no students who will get hurt, well we can't do anything about that it already happens."
"Your right, I wish that this incident won't affect the academy too much."
"If they want they can send their children to the neighboring kingdom." We continue chattering until we finished a cup of tea.
"Would you like to rest in your room?"
"Did Damien book a room for me?"
"Yes, it was beside of his room as for your things it was already there."
"Yes, I would like to rest after this. For now, let's continue our conversation."
"I would love to. Then let me pour another drink for you." I stay with her until dinner and just remember Damien when Lady Rose asked me if I like my food to serve in my room.
"Thank you for such a nice chat."
"So do I, in a moment the food will be sent to your room."
"Yes, thank you."
"Let's talk some other time, My Lady."
"Yeah."
"Please enjoy your stay in our hotel." I nod at her and follow her employee, she brings me to my room and pointed Damien's room. I ate first and change my dress before knocking on Damien's room. He didn't answer on the first knock, the second, and the third knock. Is he testing my patience?
"Damien, will you continue sulking? you said a while ago you want us to talk. Come on, open this door."
"What is it? I'm having a nice rest here."
"Sheez you look like a lady here." I slightly pushed his chest and invite myself in, I survey his room and sat on the couch there. His clothes were on the floor and his bed was a mess. "Just look at your room, Haa. Pick those and stop acting like that and tell me your problem."
"You really don't know?"
"That is why I'm asking you."
"Goodness, why are you so dense?" he scratches his head and I glare at him.
"That's rude, Sir."
"Oh, I'm sorry forgive me if my words hurt you, 'My Lady'." He emphasize the word My Lady and I sighed. I stand up and look at him, he put his arms on his chest and was looking sharply at me. I put my hands on my waist and scoff.
"Really Damien, if you could just tell me what is your problem and talk nice and smoothly will you?"
"Okay fine!"
"Don't shout! I said you should talk nice!"
"Your shouting too and I was frustrated okay? You being dense."
"I'm also frustrated here. And stop calling me dense!"
"You got mad at me when I keep the secret about Wren going to war with us but you also keep a secret. You never told me that the prince was hitting on you!" he shouted back, so it was about him.
"I forget okay? He was not that important and I was busy on other things."
"Is there anything that you were hiding from me?"
"Nothing."
"Tell me more about why that bastard wants you."
"It was futile. Let's not fight over this small issue."
"Haa. Futile? Small issue? He wants you like his tyrant brother who got obsessed with the princess. You hear me?"
"Of course! Just forget about that, as if I will let him touch me."

"I'm sorry. This is for not telling you." I said and he look at me with a surprised face. I almost burst into laughter at his dumbfounded face but I conceal it. I cleared my throat and said sorry once again.
"Are you sure your Alora?" I glare at him and he sighed.
"Now, I would appreciate it if you stop acting like that."
"I am the one who will behead that bastard." He said and I shake my head.
"You can't he is my target. I want to hang his head in the borders you know." I still can remember that smug face of him that I wanted to erase his face.
"I'm not fine with it. A swift death won't be enough."
"Hug me." I stretch my arms and he just stares at me. "Come on." I smiled when he hug me and feels like he do not want to let go of me.
"Forgive me too, for not being on your side when bad things occur."
"I told you I am not weak." I brush his hair and I was surprised when he carries me. He sat down on his bed and I was sitting on his lap, both legs were on his sides. We just stay there as he hugged me until his satisfied?
"Have you already calmed down?" I said in a small voice.
"Yeah."
"That's good to hear." I kiss his cheeks then kiss his lips. "Hope you are not mad at me anymore."
"No, I'm not."
