I take out my pistol as soon as the car approaches the gates of the Alfonso residence. Derrick and three of my men are in the front car, clearing the way and getting rid of obstacles. They're exchanging fire with about six men holding rifles and guarding the gates. Even before we can reach the gates, my men have taken all the six Alfonso's security guards down. Seeing that the road is clear, I push my gun back into my pocket as Derrick parted the gates open for my car to pass through. I'm not supposed to put my trust in any of the men after what has happened at the estate. However, Derrick still remains the one who has not yet betrayed my trust. He is well disciplined and has always proved to be more loyal to me than to my brother. I look over at my young driver, Pil Ho, "No matter what happens, make sure you stay in the car and don't enter into the house." I say, "If I don't get out in an hour, you leave this place immediately and drive to the estate." "Sir, I will not go anywhere without you." The boy objects even though he looks nervous. "I am not asking for your thoughts, I'm giving you an order." I make it clear to him. The boy is just twenty, he's Mrs Choi's youngest son and I don't want to endanger his life. I agreed to let him follow me because I was short of men. Mrs Choi is like a Mother to me, I will make sure her son returns to the estate safe and unharmed if anything were to happen to me. "Stop the car here." "Sir please let me come with you, it's my job to protect you." "I will not let anything happen to you because of me. Now park over, Pil Ho ya." He grips the steering wheel and swerves the car towards the opposite lane of the road. "I'll stop here and wait for you. A servant is supposed to die before his Master. The least I can do is to stop here and wait for you to come out Sir. You have to make it out safe if you want me to live." Have I become too soft for this boy to be challenging my order? He annoys me, but I don't have the time to react. Instead, I give him a pat on the back before I push the door and step out. I reach for my pocket and take out my pistol. I make a quick move towards the rocky hills and crouch down as I look around, making sure I don't hear any movement above. I climb my way up the hill and into the grass land. I can see the house not very far away with gunmen standing guard around the compound. I can remember some parts of it because I've been in there for a business deal with the Alfonsos. I know the wing where Sergio stays but it's been years, and the arrangements might've changed. I remember they do have an underground warehouse which is highly unlikely to change. I suspect that's where they're holding Kai Yun, if they have not killed him already. I'm assured that they won't, though. He's too important, they're going to keep him until they make sure they won't be needing him in the future. The girl too, they're keeping her because they know she's important to me and I will come for her. Although I don't think Sergio knows I'll be coming for the girl so soon. Holding my gun down, I move to the tree and press my back against it to hide under it's dark shadow. It has been a while since I've done a thing like this. Most homes I visit unexpectedly, I walk through their front doors full of confidence, but with the Alfonsos, they're far too dangerous for me to take them lightly. I have to take Sergio by surprise, he's the only one I need to capture, to prevent a bloody battle. The nearby house is where most of the security men are camped. They're smoking and having a chat, I'll be able to use the building as a cover to get closer to the main house. I can see an opened window that can give me direct access to one of the rooms, but it's risky to make a move now. I need to create a distraction. My eyes search for something to use, and it falls on a stone on the ground beside my shoe. I take it, aim for the car parked out in the open, not so far away from the group. I haul it at the car and the alarm instantly goes off. The men are quick to move their attention to the blaring car, while I take the opportunity to dash out closer to the compound and run fast around the back of the building. I press my back against the building and inhale a deep breath. They're still focusing on the blaring car, trying to silence it so I make a move out in the open. It's a risk I had to take, but I'm able to reach the main house. I climb up the window and tumble into the room, gripping my gun and quickly aiming it at nobody. The room is empty, I can smell the scent of shampoo and the noise of running water like someone is using the bathroom. I move to the door and try to push it open. It's locked, and the key is not in the key hole. Darn it! I'm trapped in the room and can't go out without calling the attention of whoever is in there bathing. I'm sure it's a girl, judging from the appearance of the room. Girl clothes are scattered everywhere on the bed. This is actually good. If the one in the bathroom turns out to be Sergio's sister, I'm going to use her as leverage. I walk to the bathroom door and push it open, aiming my gun at the silhouette of the girl in the shower. She doesn't even see me, but I can see her back through the glass shower, shampooing her hair and humming a song. Wait, I know that voice. A smile unexpectedly creep up to my lips as I carefully push my gun back, hiding it as I move in closer to the shower glass. The girl in there is Hana. I don't need to show a gun to her face, I just need to get in there and shut her mouth from screaming and calling attention.
