Vanessa replied that she seems to have a lot of self-confidence in herself, she still doesn't give up and she wasn’t afraid of Lara especially if they are arguing about me.
"It's nothing, Lance and I were talking and I don't mind kissing him after all he is single and he doesn't have a girlfriend." Vanessa answered sharply and bluntly.
Lara raised her eyebrows as if challenging what Vanessa was saying, this is the first time I've seen her brave in front of Vanessa.
"If you think he doesn't have a girlfriend, there is a woman who owns his heart that he protects more fully and chooses to love," Lara answered.
"Oh…. That…that was great to hear, by the way I have to go. Goodluck Lance in your love life, I hope the woman you love deserves the love you give for her," Vanessa observed Lara from head-to-toe before she let go of my arms. Lara and I were left standing on the dancefloor, currently playing new party songs and some of our classmates started going to the dancefloor to dance.
When we all almost crowded the dancefloor, Lara was about to walk out but I quickly grabbed her arm.
"Wait!" I stopped her from leaving.
She was trying to get out of my grip, I was sure she was annoyed, jealous and hurt when Vanessa kissed me.
"Enough Lance, don't explain. Until now, I can see that Vanessa is still in your heart."
"That's not true, Vanessa is just teasing me, I love you."
But she still doesn't listen to me.
"No, you are a cheater, you are freaking LIAR!" she shouted with anger and dismay.
I suddenly grabbed her by the waist and quickly kissed her on the lips where I stopped her from fighting and speaking. I started to sweat and my heart beat got stronger and shook, things happened very fast and I heard the loud shouts of our classmates while they watched us in the middle of the dancefloor unable to move but our lips remained kissing, they chose us surround while still continuing to panic.
After a while we let go of each other. I spoke breathlessly.
"Yes, I admit that Vanessa still has a part of me but I love you more than her, and I can change and offer my love for you with all my heart because I love you,"
"Lance, I'm not your girlfriend," Lara said confused.
Suddenly, our classmates left the dancefloor and the song played by the DJ changed again, this time he played 'When I dream about you,"

I remember this song when we first kissed and it really gave me more courage to show my true desire to Lara.
I knelt in front of Lara, which was a very awkward situation and really caught the attention of everyone watching. I will stand up to the shame I created because I don't have to back down from it.
I held Lara's hands.
"Now, this is the right time and day for me to ask you this, I don’t care if I look stupid or nuts after all I was madly in love with you, I don't need a long answer from you. I just want to hear 'YES' or 'NO'. Lara P. Domingo would you like to be my girlfriend?"
I looked stupid for what I was doing but I didn't care that my professors and classmates were laughing at me, the important thing was that I could get Lara's answer.
"I really idolize you LANCE, you used ninja moves," Endrix shouted and teased me, after which my annoying classmates burst into laughter.
Lara smiled and almost thrilled to answer.
"YES! Lance Timothy G. Cuevas, I’ll accept you to be my boyfriend," Lara responded happily and excitedly to me.
What I did was too much of a distraction and shame, another thing that we both disturbed our classmates and professors who wanted to dance during those hours. I even managed to make a big scene just to show my sincerity to Lara.
So to wrap it all up, I let go of her hands and jumped three times for joy before hugging her tightly. I feel more intense than the engagement proposal during those times. But I suddenly thought of something, so I let go of Lara's embrace.
"Wait, our relationship needs to be legal as soon as possible. I want to meet the king and queen and I want you to meet my parents so they can get to know you better,"
I noticed that Lara's facial expression gradually became sad and worried, we went back to our old problem. But I no longer feel fear of her parents, I will fight for my love for her and I will prove to them that I am not a bad mortal like people who commit violence and crime and even though I am mortal that is not an obstacle love a powerful and attractive fairy. Love has no boundaries, whoever it hits becomes equal because of what their hearts feel.
