When I was about to step closer to them, they suddenly shouted.
"AHHHH!" suddenly the light exploded and the dishes and cookies they were holding were thrown in front of them and then the three of them transformed.
I found a little hamster, a Gila monster and a sparrow. They quickly attacked in front of us, the Gila Monster was biting me and I was out-of-balance, while Endrix and the sparrow's arm and the hamster chased after Jake, Raim and Charles.
"STOP IT! I urge you to stop and do not harm our mortal friends, they will not harm us all, calm down Boobay, Winy, Sahara." Lara's command.
After a while the animals stopped attacking, they distanced themselves from us and came closer to Andrea and Lara. We got up and shook our clothes.
Raim was annoyed.
"How are your friends behaving and they suddenly attack us? We're not doing anything bad," he poked the hamster.
"Stop it, it won't do any good if you fight here." Lara's criticism of all of us.
Their animal friends tried to calm down.
"By the way, the Hamster you see is Boobay, while the Gila Monster is Winy and the Sparrow is Sahara." Andrea introduced her friends.
"Apologise to our guests," ordered Lara.
"SORRY," they responded at the same time to our utter amazement, and we laughed a little and were amused to hear their voices, they were talking animals.
"I'm sorry if we surprised you but we have no intention to hurt you, we would like to meet you so that we can know the whereabouts of Princess Aurora and Avena," I calmly talked to them.
"Who are you?" the hamster raised an eyebrow at me.
"I'm Lancelot Timothy G. Cuevas, and I'm with my friends Endrix, Jake, Raim and Charles." I introduced my friends one by one and they politely introduced themselves to the three animals.
"Hmpt! How are you related to Princess Aurora?" Boobay asked as if he was observing my actions and making sure I didn't do anything bad.
"Lancelot is my boyfriend," Princess Aurora proudly answered Boobay.
The three animals glanced at Princess Aurora in disbelief.
"IMPOSSIBLE. The King will not accept that you have a mortal lover," said the Sparrow.
"Ah, it looks like our friends are tired from the trip, so maybe we should prepare a snack first," answered Andrea.
"Ahem! The cookies spilled on the floor but I'll just prepare new cookies and milk," the Gila monster replied.
"Alright, I'll help you." Andrea said.
The three animals changed form again and they became mortal again in the form of a man, the second woman and the girl who is 10 years old. Avena went with Winy to the kitchen and when they came back they had milk and a lot of cookies on the plate. They seated us at a long table and we shared a snack.
We looked at the cookies and they looked delicious and special. I noticed that there were some strawberry tidbits inside the cookies.
"Don't worry, the cookies aren't poisonous and if we want to kill you, we'll prefer to use magic," Sahara said angrily.
"Thank you and you didn't try to kill us," said Charles.
We tasted the cookies and they were really delicious, the dough was soft and with every bite it was a little cold in our throats, the sweetness of the milk was just right and it really hit our throats, we were very full and we couldn't stop crying.
After a while we talked.
"We came here to beg you if you could join us in delivering to the kingdom of Evadarcia so that I can prove that my intentions are pure for Princess Aurora and another is to reveal the wickedness of King Gaul against the dear king,"
The three friends of Avena and Princess Aurora looked at each other.
"But we're not going back to Evadarcia," Boobay said sadly, Princess Aurora took his hands.
"Please, we need you to help us bring down King Gaul and Prince Azahil and stop them from any evil plans they have against my father the king as well as the kingdom. We will help you survive any harm," Princess Auror pleaded and Winy couldn't help it and Sahara to encourage Boobay to trust and agree to the princess' plea.
"Oh fine, but all mortal friends can't come to face the king. It's dangerous for them to stay in Evadarcia especially since there are so many enemies around." Boobay said.
"We support our friend, and we will not leave him until the end, we will work together to defeat the power of the King of Gaul," Endrix stated to which Raim, Charles and Jake agreed.
"It turns out that your friends Princess Aurora and Avena are a bit stubborn," Sahara said, looking unconvinced by our plan.
"You can't all come, it's dangerous and you might be punished by the King as well as the Queen." Boobay told us.
But Charles didn't listen, instead he stood by what he had to say.
"Even if we die, we won't leave Lance."
Avena sighed as Princess Aurora and I looked at each other.
"Dude, I don't want you to get hurt, thanks for the support but my conscience can't handle seeing you suffer because of me." I said to Charles.
"Alright, keep talking and we'll break your bones, no matter what you say you can't change our decision. We won't back down from what we said." Raim replied.
I didn't argue with them anymore.
"Okay fine, if you want I suggest that tomorrow morning we go to Evadarcia. Because Princess Aurora is needed in her parents' kingdom," said Avena.
"Oh fine, tomorrow we'll dress up and get ourselves ready. Where shall we meet?" I will ask.
Boobay grinned, obviously amused by my bravery.
"Here inside our home,"
Avena responded to the conversation.
"We will wait for you in the woods before you go to the house," Avena assured.
I couldn't think straight and I suddenly decided that I didn't consider my parents and what would happen tomorrow. It's up to Batman.
