The truth will set you free, the heart of this teaching is twofold: you must come to “know the truth” so that the truth you come to know “will set you free.” First of all, on a purely psychological level, one of the greatest helps to good mental health is the truth. Most often when one struggles with various forms of depression, it’s because they are seeing aspects of their life with confusion. “Why did this person do this to me?” Or “How will I ever get through this?” Or “My life is a mess and there is no way out.” These and other similar thoughts will inevitably lead to depression for one simple reason: they are based on erroneous thinking.
I wiped the tears from her eyes, although I was hurt by her not telling me the truth, I still had a lot of worry in my heart and I couldn't see that she was struggling with what she was doing.
"Lara, my love please tell me what other things you haven't told me yet. I'm sure there's another reason why you ran away from Andrea's palace, I'm ready to listen and I'll try to understand you," I held her hands caressed, caressed and then kissed. I tried to tell my father the whole truth about the King Gaul's evil plan to take over the whole kingdom but my father the king rejected me, he chose to side with King Gaul rather than me so I thought we had no fight at that time against King Gaul's evil, we decided to run away of Andrea to find stronger evidence against the King of Gaul as well as his son Prince Azahil, another thing is that I was very hurt by my father's argument, I am not ready to talk to him or see him yet. " explained Lara.
I shook my head.
"My love, I don't think it's right for you to harbor a grudge against the dear king. He is your father and fathers naturally make mistakes with their children. It might not be a good idea if you stay in this world of mortals for a long time because the dear king may perish even more at the hands of King Gaul now that you are not by his side. Also, if possible don't be angry with Andrea, she is only following the orders of dear queen and dear king and she knows what is best for you, after all it's almost like you treat each other like brothers right? my love, if possible you and Andrea will return to the kingdom and if you deserve it I'll go with you,"
They both seemed to stiffen from where they were standing, Andrea and Lara's eyes widened for a moment and they suddenly looked at each other as if surprised by my words.
"Impossible, my love you know you can't come with us in the kingdom."
Andrea intervened in the conversation.
"Excuse me but, it was not safe for Lance to go to the kingdom which is currently in chaos due to the evil plans of King Gaul,"
I answered in a calm way even though I was still struggling.
"My decision is complete, I will come with you to the kingdom to prove to myself that my intentions are pure to you my princess, I know that is a dangerous plan, but if after you return to the kingdom and you cannot return to my company and I'm sure that King Gaul will make an attempt on your life, I'm ready to sacrifice my life just to save you and be worthy of my love and I'll prove to your parents that their first impression to me is wrong."
"What the hell are you talking about? What this all about dude?" Charles patted my shoulder, when I turned around to my surprise Raim, Endrix and Jake were right behind me.
"What are you doing here?" I didn't know if I would frown or if my facial expression would be serious because I was so confused at that time.
"We have been listening to what you were talking about for a while, Charles noticed that the tension between the three of you was getting a bit intense especially when Lara cried so we were curious and we barely approached you until all of a sudden we heard about the kingdom, there is a queen and a king as well as a king who has an evil desire to conquer the kingdom." Jake said that Lara and Andrea couldn't take their eyes off the three of us.
I tried to come up with an idea where I could convince them that all they heard were pranks and no truth.
I laughed.
"Dude, are you dreaming? Wake-up. We're not in a fairytale and where did you get that kind of imagination? Peter Pan's or Wendy's or Tinkerbell's? We're not talking about those like that. You are out of your mind."
Endrix frowned, he didn't mind my pretense and didn't seem to like what happened next.
"Dude with the amount of experience we have with Tikbalang, Kapre, Lambana, Maligno and Duwende. Do you think we still don't believe in the mythological creatures and kingdoms you talk about? Yes, we belong to Gen Z but we cannot explain the appearance of supernatural creatures that live in the mortal world. There's no point in lying, tell us the truth right now." I felt a little annoyance and boredom in Endrix's voice while waiting for my answers.
"Dude, aren't Lara and Andrea ordinary people? That's why you protect and care for Lara so much?" Raim asked next while repeatedly looking at Lara and me.
The three of us looked at each other, we were looking for support and console from each other but we still couldn't speak at that time. Lara started talking and revealed the truth in front of my friends that even though it was dangerous for mortals to know our secret, we still managed to take the risk.
"Yes, Andrea and I are a fairy and we come from the land of fairies and Lambana in the kingdom of Evadarcia, we are here in the world of mortals because we fled from the evil of a cruel king King Gaul who wanted to conquer our kingdom ,"
Endrix, Jake, Raim and Charles looked at each other and seemed to be weighing the weight of Lara's statements whether they should believe them or not.
"If someone wants to invade your kingdom, it's sure to be a big mess if you go back to your land, let our friends and Charles come with us so we can protect you," Raim said.
"One more thing is not possible, your lives will be in danger if you join us, you don't know what the powerful fairies can do in our kingdom," Andrea objected.
But I agree with what Endrix said.
They are even better to gained courage but the two fairies still hesitated for us to help them.
"Endrix is right, our lives may be in danger but we are ready to help you for the safety of your kingdom, I also cannot allow King Gaul to do anything bad to you Lara, my friends and I can unite to gather evidences against his evil plans to the dear king especially to the whole kingdom."
"But, Lance…..
"Lara, my love, when we return to Quezon City, if possible, take us with you to where you are staying. We deserve to know where you live and to know the creatures that shelter and care for you in this world." I told Lara.
Charles replied.
"Yes, you should just tell me Andrea where you live because I'm your boyfriend, I have the right to know your whereabouts."
Andrea suddenly frowned and raised an eyebrow at Charles.
"Excuse me, what did you say? I think you're mistaken and you misinterpret the situation, we don't have a formal relationship yet for you to call me girlfriend. Adjust your statements if you don't want us to not see each other forever," she rolled her eyes at Charles so I covered his mouth.
I was laughing at that scene, I don't know if Charles planned it or was just testing Andrea's patience.
After a while Charles apologized.
"I'm sorry and I just got carried away with what's going on. You said we don't have a formal relationship yet, does that mean there's a chance to have one?"
We are starting to smile and at the same time Lara, Endrix and Jake are laughing and teasing while Andrea and Charles are joking.
I can see Andrea's face turning red and she can hardly defend herself, she is obviously still in denial but deep inside she also likes Charles.
After a while a voice called our name, when we turned around Miss Jessica was smiling at us.
"Guys, are you having fun? We are about to start our program so everyone is invited to participate," Miss Jessica told us enthusiastically and Raim really stared at her good, who seemed to enjoy watching her voluptuous body.
We showed presentable greetings and smiles.
"Sure Ma'am, no problem." We spoke openly to him at the same time.
When she said goodbye to us, and we decided to focus our attention on the party, we went back to our seats with Lara and Andrea as well as Cecile who had just arrived earlier and we didn't bother to talk about the kingdom anymore of Evadarcia particularly the true identities of Lara and Andrea.
After a few moments, the program moderator Vincent began to speak very bubly, energetic and cheerful, the program came to life as his voice boomed on the stage.
"As we are about to start, our great DJ Harvey will treat us to a very energetic Dynamite song so everybody is please to join the dancefloor,"
And the loud volume of the song started echoing on the dance floor where we all got up and stood up to dance on the dance floor while the various disco lights were spinning.

We are laughing, shouting and shaking each other's bodies as we groove and endulged the privilege to dance, Lara and Andrea also partied with us and really enjoyed the program. It was only then that I noticed the sparks in Lara's eyes, pleasure that cannot be matched by any wealth in the world, so that I was once again melting in excitement and joy while holding her soft hands.
