When Drake finally arrives in the timeless lab, Celine is nowhere to be found. It seems like she just packed up her things and left. How can she do that without even leaving a message to him? But it seems like some people step foot in this lab.
He immediately goes to the control room where he can check the footage. Time is frozen on this place but he was able to create a security camera for this place. He stayed reviewing the footage to see what might have happened. Celine left a message for him before she left!
Drake's upcoming question was answered when he saw Derek and two other agents. They are the ones who came here and took Celine's message. Whatever it is, that might contain her whereabouts. He needs to find her first before the agents.
He immediately checked the history of the time machine. It looks like Celine just entered a random date. Why would she go to the year 2000 again? That's when they got stuck before. But Derek wasn't able to see her in the timeless lab. How come she went that year?
It looks like Derek and his crew weren't able to even check this part before they left. He needs to go on the same date to find his wife. She must have had a good reason why she just left her safe house. Good thing she was able to leave before the agents got to her.
"Nice thinking, baby! Now, I will find you." Drake told himself and pressed the enter button.
The year 2000...
Celine can't believe that she went back to this year again. She was so sure that she entered the present year which is 2021. But instead, she seems to have accidentally keyed in the wrong year. Being in labor pain seems to give her hand its brain and do whatever.
She's still on the hospital bed recovering from giving birth. Her baby is in the nursery to make sure that everything is good. Celine was able to know what year it is because of the news on TV. During this time, she and Drake are staying in the house with a trap door.
At least she was able to give birth safely. Now that her worry is over, she can think better. That's when she remembers the message she left for Drake. She told him that she will go back to the present time. He will worry about them if he doesn't see them there.
She can just go back to the time machine if only she knows where she left it. The moment she opens her eyes, she's already in the hospital. Maybe someone knows where they found her. That's where the time machine should be located.
"Excuse me, do you know how I ended up in this hospital?" She asks the nurse who entered her room.
"Your husband brought you here. He's currently in the nursery." The nurse informed her.
"My husband is here?" She can't believe what she just heard.
"Yes, he's here! Your labor must be very painful, that's why you forget. I will tell him to see you now." The nurse smiled and left.
Celine feels nervous about that information. Drake doesn't know that she will be here. She knows that she made a mistake with the year. He should be in the year 2021, not 2000. She tried to calm herself down and wait for her husband. Whoever he is, she must remain calm.
When the doorknob turns, Celine braces herself. Whoever it will be, she needs to stay sharp. She already has a child to think about and she can't be too scared. But when the guy enters the room, she can't believe her eyes. It's Drake but it's his past self. The same guy she fell in love with during this timeline.
"Hello, Celine! It's been a long time." Drake greeted her and walked towards her bed.
"Drake, you're still here!" She can't believe it.
Sure, it was Drake's past but it feels like they are different people. She thought he vanished before they went back to the future. But now, he's standing in front of her once again. She can't help but feel guilty about him. It's weird to see his past right in front of her.
"I can't believe we have a child already. What happened? Why did you end up here?" Drake asks in a worried tone.
"The future seems to be more complicated than the past. Derek is after us from there and we have to hide and run." She started telling him.
"You mean, you weren't able to save your future? It's supposed to be our plan!" Drake sounds confused and frustrated.
"No, we never had the chance since Derek tried to kidnap me. You got arrested by the TTA!" She informs him.
Celine has to update Drake's past and what happened in the future. It's a long story and they have to talk for a few hours. She has to tell him everything so that he will know what he must do. He's a genius and he should be able to think about their next step.
"I think you have to stay here for now with our child. If that's what's happening in the future, the baby should be safe around here." Drake suggested after her story.
"But how about the future Drake? He should know where we are!" She replied.
"Celine, I know that you're more used to being with my future. But it's still me so you have to listen. I'm not going to put you and our child in danger!" He explains to her.
Celine knows that because even if he's the past Drake, he's still the same guy she fell in love with. Although it feels like she's two-timing them, she's not. She has to listen to Drake now for the sake of their child. They can't go back to the future or Derek might just be waiting for them. It will end up in a disaster if ever.
