Richard left her inside the car with two of his men before he walked into the warehouse to talk with Leo first before he let them meet.
"All parents soften up when it comes to their children! For your daughter's future you are willingly to sacrifice your own life but it is a pity, Dawn killed her self to escape punishment and your precious, arrogant and hot tempered daughter got kicked out of the Lincoln family by Mr Lincoln at this time, Runa should be on a ship from Los Angeles to Hong Kong but someone pushed into the sea when she was boarding who did you think did it?" Richard asked.
Leo stood up and walked towards him aggressively.
"How is Runa now!?" He asked.
"Relax. She was lucky that some militia soldier saved her"
Leo sighed in relief.
"The Lincoln family announced that Dawn fell ill suddenly and died but they said nothing about Runa. Apart from the Lincoln family, only Albert and i participated in the second trial know the truth behind it so who do you think want to kill a misfortune girl?" Richard asked
"Albert!" Leo clenched his fist. "He promised me that he would let his son marry Runa and that he would see to their marriage in person"
"Yes that is because back in the past Miss Runa's real identity was still a secret and to fight against the revolutionary army, Albert needs the support of the Lincoln family with or without you he would make his son marry Mr Lincoln's daughter but things are different now. Right now, Runa's identity has become a huge hidden trouble if someone with ulterior motives finds out what really happened at the time by following the clues that would be a huge big threat to him. So of course he wants to get rid of her"
"He fooled me" Leo said.
What really happened about the case of Arci kidnapping was that Leo was once Military Governor Albert adjutant so the military governor contacted him about the militia group Richard wants to create he was against it but he couldn't do anything about. He decided to ask Leo to happened that same day Dawn contacted him about getting rid of Arci.
So he decided to kill two birds with one stone by killing Arci and framing it on the militia group Richard created but the people he sent to kidnapped Arci slip up and Arci find out that it was a pawnshop owner giving Richard a clue both framing and killing Arci failed.
The military governor doesn't want his secret to expose so he promised him that he will let Bremo marry his daughter Runa if he kept his secret. And since the military governor know the truth about Runa's birth so he threatned him first before he promised to let Bremo marry Runa.
What a perfect scheme!
"You should have known it ten years ago he is such a person who fooled Lincoln and Military Governor Pepe infront of him you are just a chess piece. Runa fell into the sea and was frightened I've asked the female relative of my men to give her some dry clothes and i can promise you that if you tell me the truth about Neo's death I'll send Runa to Hong Kong safely"
"I can tell you the truth but i have a request i want to see Runa" Leo requested.

Richard stood up and walked out of the warehouse.
He brought Runa in to the warehouse and give them space to talk.
Leo stared at her without blinking with tears in his eyes.
He walked closer to her.
"Runa i heard that commander Richard will send you to Hong Kong you have never been there before and it is a totally strange place for you take care of yourself. By the way i have few friends there and i will write them a letter so you can contact them when you get there. Go to see them and they will take care of you".
"No thank you i won't go to see your friends!"
"Runa are you still mad at Me?"
"Mad at you? I'm not mad at you i resent you!" She grabbed his clothes and started hitting him madly. "Why did you suddenly break into my life?! Why did you get my mom killed? Why did you take everything away from me?! I should have just drowned to death!"
Leo slapped her.
"How dare you slap me?! How could you?!"
"You have to live on! Yes it was not for me to slap you i did it for your mom. You can ignore me but you can't what your mother did for you she sacrificed her life for you" Leo scolded her.
"What should…… What should i do now? I've lost everything because of you " She break down and fell to the floor.
Leo kneeled down infront her.
"Runa, i know I'm not a good father but today i just want to tell you that in my life i did it all for your own benefits! Do you know I've done many bad things for Military Governor Albert because I want you to marry his son so that you can have a good future! but now it is all ruined" He cried "I know i can't make it up to you no matter what i say right now Runa i just want you to live for your mother's sake and for my sake please just live well"
"Don't worry I'll live well because i have to take back everything that should be mine"
"Yes Runa get up, it is cold on the ground" He helped her up
"Runa you are about to leave. Would you….. would you call me dad just one time" He looked her with eager face.
"No! you are not my dad!" She rejected him coldly and walked away.
"Runa!" He cried out.
He started crying
Richard walked in.
"I'll say the truth" Leo told him.
"Okay hold on" Richard said and called Arci.
He told her where the warehouse is and asked her to come.
He asked Richmond to set a chair and table so they could seat down.
Soon Arci got there and they sat down together facing Leo.
