"How is it going on Arci's side?" Mr Bee asked his assistant.
"Runa has sounded her out in the Lincoln mansion. Richard hasn't appeared these days and their wedding day hasn't been decided. Several days ago, after Lincoln's death Richard said in the presence of Runa that they would hold a wedding ceremony as soon as possible it is evident that Richard has been on guard against Arci"
"With Samson testimony he has to believe it"
Samson was the Russian man who they met in the spring restaurant.
"Luckily, you found Samson in advance and bought him with a huge sum of money a few fabricated words can make Richard fall out with Arci that is really the accomplishment of a great task with little effort"
"I have long competed against Samson, we are old rivals back then we met in Ricoland and he recognized me if i hadn't been in a hurry to chase and kill Richard's father he would have long been shot to death by me. Now we can make use of him, which i didn't expect"
"But Samson is too greedy for money I'm afraid that after this is done he will continue to extort money from us"
"After this is done is there still a need to let him live on?"
"I got it. By the way, did you see the news? Former Military Governor Albert is dead should we stop the deal?"
"Why should i stop something i have started because of a dead person, i still want the Lincoln family property" Mr Bee said with a sneered.
"Runa asked me if she will inherit the Lincoln family property and i assured her that she will what should we do with her?"
"Dispose her after this is done. She is just a chicken that wants to be a phoenix" Mr Bee scoffed.

Runa became Arci's Secretary. Richard still didn't come to visit her when he came, he came to demand a huge sum of money Arci refused to give him.
He went to Arci company, Runa was also present.
"I need money"
"How much?" Arci asked silently.
"5 million dollars"
"I don't have that kind of money can you give me sometime?"
"In the Lincoln family, what i say doesn't count right?" Richard asked
"Will you be reasonable?" Arci replied angrily.
"Be reasonable?" Richard asked.
He took a cup that she used to drink tea and smashed it on the floor scaring them.
"I'm the Commander of Los Angeles, can't i make the decision for the Lincoln family? Do you really think I'm a kept man!?!" Richard yelled
Arci held his hand with tears in her eyes.
"Richard"
He closed his eyes and snatched his hand from hers, "Fine i won't beg you for anything i have many other ways" Richard said and walked out of hers.
He doesn't want to do this!
He wants to hug her and kiss her
He missed her a lot too!
He missed her touch and her smell..
'Arci, just give me sometime i promise I'll come and meet you after getting rid of all the obstacles in our way. Just a few more day'
He walked into his car and closed his eyes.
"To the command"
Runa walked towards her.
"Arci, why did Commander Richard talk to you like that?" She askesd.
"I have no idea, he has become so cold and distant these days. It is getting even worse today he smashed the cup on the floor Go on with your work, just leave me alone for a while"
"Okay I'll go on with my work, don't be too upset" Runa consoled her.
She smirked and walked out of her office
Arci walked out of her office and drove to his office herself.
She tried to walk in when Richmond stopped her.
"You can't go inside"
"I'm here to see your Commander"
"Miss Arci he is not here now, Please leave"
"Today, you can either shoot me to death or let me in"
Arci said and walked in, Richmond didn't try to stop her again.
Arci walked in to his office and saw him sitting down.
"Richard, there is no outsider her you do not need to pretend are you hiding me something from me? You can tell me I'll keep all the secrets. Over these days I've been thinking about what has happened between us but i still cannot figure out the reason why you became like this"
"You can think of me as a fickle jerk"
"But you are actually not.. Will you tell me the reason, i can't stand it anymore what has happened between us? I even don't know the reason only you don't know it. I am really tired i feel that i can't stand it anymore"
She tried to hold his hand but he quickly dodged her hand.
"Then you can give up" He replied heartlessly.
Arci raised her and slap him.
"Don't imagine I'll give up easily"
"Fine, if you want to know why then I'll tell you, do you know how my dad died? Ten years ago, when my dad and his soldiers escorted arms by way of Ricoland they were attacked abruptly by a gang of men. My dad and his soldiers died, the enemy used dumdum bullets which have huge destructive power. Dumdum bullets are prohibited in all regular troops in every country when my dad died his chest was torn apart"
"Who are those people?"
"Ten years ago, your dad transported goods for Albert and he passed Ricoland too he hired an armed squad from Russian and those guys used dumdum bullets they were hired because they had strong combat power"
"I don't believe it"
"You don't believe it?"
"That was impossible"
"Impossible? Go home and look through the photo album of your family. Have a good look at the picture of your father and the armed squad. By the way, i have also found a member of the armed squad he told me that it was your father who killed my father! I can only try not to hate you" Richard yelled.
"From now on" Richard bit his lips, "You go on your own way and I'll go mine"
Arci ran out of his office, she doesn't even know how she got home.
She ran all the way and went to where the photo album was.
She opened it and checked it.
"Calvin!" She yelled.
Calvin quickly walked in.
"Yes miss"
"Was this photo taken in Ricoland?"
"Exactly, it was taken ten years ago when your father passed by Ricoland while escorting goods, what is wrong? Commander Richard and you are both interested in it"
Arci fell down, Calvin quickly stabilize her so she wouldn't get injured.
She burst into tears when she heard this.
Runa was about to walked in when she saw her like that. She smiled in satisfaction when she saw this and walked away.
