The assassin man became tongue tied. "So you are not someone who just came back after studying in the USA. You lied to Samuel, you were sent by the focre in the south" Bremo said confidently. The assassin man looked at him with a shocked expression. He couldn't believe how he knew the truth. Richard just smiled and sat down on the couch lazily. "You faked your resume and identity and you exchanged your Cantonese notes into dollars so that it'd be convenient for you to use them in Los Angeles but you still kept some Cantonese notes because you wanted to go back to Bethlehem by train after finishing the job here when the time comes, you will need Cantonese change to take a rickshaw dollars can't be broken in to small change and it won't be accepted, am i right?" Bremo asked. The assassin man looked down nervously. Richard clapped his hand. "Good point. No wonder you were a top student from The Golden Military Academy i am really impressed" Richard said. Bremo stood up from the table and face Richard, "Commander Richard, at this moment you are still in the mood to joke if it weren't for this Cantonese notes you wouldn't be cleared of suspicion" "Because i believe you wouldn't wrong me" Richard said. While they were not looking the assassin bit his down and died. Arci quickly turned away from the scene. Brandon went forward and examine him. "Marshal he is dead" He told him. Bremo already expect this so he was still calm. "Take him away" He told him. "Yes Marshal" Brandon replied. "Guards" Brandon called out. A soldier quickly walked in, they carried the man out immediately. "Well, the dead cannot bear witness" Michael said. "It is clear now, the force in the south is the instigator they wanted to sow discord between us and Military Governor offices" Bremo said. "Before he died he didn't tell us just who is pulling the strings it is still unknown" Stanley said. "I'll find out who is behind it but i believe this matter has nothing to do with commander Richard" Bremo said. "I trust supervisor Bremo who is different from someone who had made slanderous charges against me before finding the evidence" Richard glanced at Michael meaningfully. "You…" Michael rushed forward. Stanley held him back "Bremo, your hand got hurt you need to go back and rest early" Arci changed the subject. "Humph" Michael harrumphed and walked out angrily. "Okay, let's go" Bremo agreed and held her hand. Richard quickly stopped them. "Supervisor Bremo, Miss Arci hasn't had her testimony recorded so she can't leave now" Richard said. Bremo glanced at Arci. "Don't worry I'll go back after my testimony is recorded" Arci reassure him. "But…" Richard quickly interrupted him, "Don't worry i will take her back safely" Richard told him. Stanley walked closer to them. "Bremo, your arm got hurt you need to go back and rest early" Stanley told him. "I will be waiting for you" Bremo told Arci. Arci nodded. Bremo and Stanley walked out of the room leaving Arci and Richard alone. Arci glanced at Richard, "You should thank Bremo for proving your innocence" "Aren't you curious why i was not afraid of him doing me wrong?" Richard asked. He took out Cantonese notes from his pocket, "I had searched the assassin wallet long ago Bremo is not the only one who is observant you should know that i am as good as him in both reasoning ability and careful planning". Arci chuckled. "What are you laughing at?" He asked her. "Why did you tell me this? You don't have to compete with Bremo infront of me" Arci replied. "I am not trying to compete with him i explained it because you were worried about me" Richard told her with a wronged expression. "I was not worried about you, you misunderstood it" Arci denied it. "Shouldn't you worry about me? If i get into trouble who is going to help you? You are the one who misunderstood it" Richard said "You are so mean!" Arci pouted. "Then why would you help someone so mean to dress his wound?" Richard retorted. Arci glared at him. "I am leaving now" she said and turned to leave. Richard grabbed her hand quickly. "It is late now, let me drive you back. You have been out of luck these days, don't get kidnapped again" He told her. She removed her hand from his "I have been out of luck ever since i got to know you" She walked out of the room after saying this. Richard looked at her as she left he smiled, "Knowing me is your good luck" he said. He followed her out. He opened the car for her they sat down at the backseat together while Richmond drove. They dropped her at her house before Richmond drove to the command. He walked into his office tiredly as he held his hand that was wounded. He sat down on the couch and removed his suit. "Does it still hurt?" Richmond asked. "It feels better" Richard replied as he closed his eyes. "Commander, do you think the assassin were sent by the force in the south?" Richmond asked. "What do you think?" Richard replied with a question. "I don't think so, think about it. The Bush army and the Revolutionary party have no animosity, so there is no reason for them to target at us, Besides, technically, Both Military Governor Albert and Pepe have killed some revolutionaries party so they should be their target instead of us" Richmond said. "Things are not as simple as you think, but now that the assassins were dead we have to take them as revolutionaries party" Richard replied vaguely. Richmond walked out his office with a frustrating expression. Richard smiled when he remembered what happened today. The Revolutionary are soldiers they are also from Los Angeles but they were sent out of Los Angeles by the Military Governor for one crime or the other, most of them are framed by the higher ups they joined together to conquer Los Angeles and return to their homeland but the Military Governors have been guiding against them.
