We were all quiet in the hospital room. No one dared to speak as we were all in a state of shock. I was looking at all three of them. Back and forth. And now I can finally see it. Now I know why Jeanny saw a resemblance between Jace and Jonathan. I stared at Jace’s features. His eyes. His lips. His smile. Some of his gestures. It resembled Jonathan a lot. "So that's why you look so familiar to me." I told Jace. "You're his cousin." "You've met each other before?" Jace asked. "No. Its because he’s popular that's why I know his face." I answered. He nodded. They all nodded. I nodded. Then I slowly looked at Jonathan. I stared at his facial features. I studied him closer as he sat on the couch. "Mr. Jonathan?" I called him and he looked at me. "Oh my gosh." I mumbled. They all looked at me. "Why? Why? What is it?" Jeanny asked. I can't believe this. “It’s really you.” I said in disbelief. I saw Jeanny roll her eyes and Jace smirked. Miss Davis laughed, but Jonathan stayed still and silent. His eyes were roaming around like a lost puppy. “Is it okay if I talk to Jeanny alone?” I spoke again. They all nodded and went outside. When the door closed, Jeanny screamed. My eyes widened in shock. “Why are you screaming?” I asked her. “Eunice! It’s Jonathan! Jonathan of The Wildes!” She dramatically said. I laughed at her. “I know. I’m shocked too.” “I’m so happy!” She exclaimed. I raised my eyebrows at her. She saw it and her smile immediately became an awkward one. “I mean, of course, I’m not happy you got hit by a car. I was just…happy to meet one of The Wilde’s members?” I stayed silent, just observing her. I saw her pout and she looked at me teary-eyed. “I’m sorry Eunice. I am honestly worried. I don’t know why I was screaming in joy when your situation’s like this, I–” “Hey it’s okay. I’m not mad at you. I think I’d be doing what you’re doing if I was in your position. I’m just glad I’m not dead.” I smiled at her. “What are you going to do now? Are you gonna sue him?” “Well, that’s the right thing to do. Don’t you think?” I asked and she nodded. “He apologized already, and I felt that he was sincere. But if the law finds him guilty, there’s nothing I can do.” It’s true. Privileged or not, we should all face the consequences of the mistakes that we did. There should be no exception. The door suddenly opened and I saw Jace and Miss Davis step in. "Eunice, we're going first. We'll be back tomorrow to bring your clothes. Take a good rest, okay?" Miss Davis said. "Thank you so much for visiting me." I waved goodbye to them. They waved goodbye and left the room. Jonathan came in. "Miss Ciara, you have visitors waiting outside. Would you like to meet them?" I'm confused because I don't have any friends besides Jeanny, Jace, and Miss Davis. Who could possibly want to see me? Is it my family? Did they know? Did they fly all the way here? I am hopeful for that. I nodded my head in agreement. Then they came in. My mouth flew open as I looked at them one by one. They greeted me. "Hello Miss Suarez. I'm Rafael, and these are my other bandmates, Parker and Ethan.” The three guys waved hello to me and I just stared at them in shock. "We would like to say sorry on behalf of our youngest member Jonathan. We're really sorry for what happened. We will make sure that he will be punished according to law." Parker said. I am speechless. I never expected the whole band to visit me. I guess they really are sorry. I just nodded my head. But what shocked me the most is that they didn't ask for an agreement. Celebrities usually do that. They come up with an agreement with the victim and they settle it with money, but these guys, they promised to get Jonathan punished by law. Wow. I snapped out of my thoughts when Ethan spoke. "I guess we should leave now and let you take a rest." They all greeted me goodbye and I did the same as well. I rested my head on my pillow and took the remote to the tv and started to pick channels. I looked to my side and saw Jonathan standing there. "Why are you still here?" I asked. I thought they were leaving. "I'm going to sleep here tonight. To keep watch." He answered. "Don't be stupid. Even my closest friends didn't stay here to sleep and keep watch. Go home. I'll be fine. I'm not gonna die overnight." I smiled at him just to assure him that I mean it. I don't need him to take care of me. He stared at the floor, hesitant to go home. “Please don’t die.” He whispered. I looked at him. He was just looking down with his head hung low. I heard him sniff. “Wait, are you crying?” I asked. He shook his head and fiddled with his fingers like a kid. “H-hey, stop crying.” I turned the volume of the television down. He sniffed again. “I promise, I never meant to hurt you or anyone. I’m really sorry.” He sobbed looking like a kid who just got scolded. “O-okay. D-don’t cry. Stop crying. I’m not gonna die. I promise. You can go now. Take a rest. I'm sure you've had a rougher day than I did.” I said and we both looked at the TV. And there was his face in the news headlines. All curious about what truly happened and what is next for him. He sighed deeply. "Okay. But I'll be back tomorrow." He said as he walked towards the door. "Good night. Bring me food. I hate hospital food." He let out a small laugh and smiled. "Okay I will. See you tomorrow." I nodded at him and waved. Then I declined my bed and went to sleep.
