"What time did she asked to meet?".elise asked as she stood at the balcony beside logan.
"Not sure I heard that".logan said."maybe in the evening".he then adds."I usually meet with her in the evening as well".
"Oh".was all elise said.she stared into the view in front of her suddenly it seemed to have caught her attention."But why?".
"I don't know". logan shrugs."it's her preference".he then turned to her.
Logan silently watched the girl beside him who he knew was lost in her thoughts.he wondered if he spoke,she would hear him.he had a lot of things to say to her but he simply didn't know how to, and among those words,he wanted to apologize to her. "I am sorry".he finally said after building up courage.
elise was surprised to hear logan apologize to her but she knew that she deserved one.she turned to logan before she spoke."why?".
"Hmm?". logan didn't think he heard her words right.
"Why are you suddenly apologizing to me?".elise asked and waited for a response from logan but he wasn't speaking."honestly,I think I deserve an apology but also an explanation as well.i knew that sooner or later you were gonna apologize to me,I just didn't think that it will be this soon though".
"All am saying Is that you still have an explanation to do". elise continued.
"I thought I already gave an explanation to you". logan asked.
"Not that".elise shakes her head."it's not about anna or the files or about your client".
"About what then?".
"I overheard your conversation with rody".elise said."you haven't told me why this case is so dangerous".
Logan immediately understood what she was talking about and groaned in his head."all cases are dangerous especially if murder is involved.this case is no different".
"Really".elise was doubtful but she didn't want to pursue the matter."okay".she would wait for when he was ready as she could see that he wasn't ready yet.
"Elise".he gazed at her longingly which she noticed as she was staring at him."thank you".he knew that she wouldn't pursue the matter further."I promise to tell you everything when I can".
Elise smiled at him."I understand".she then proceed to walk inside but she didn't expect that logan would hold her hand as she turned.
"Are we okay now?". logan had been wanting to ask this question.
"I don't know". although she spoke,she didn't turn to face him."maybe".
Hearing her, logan released his hold and elise noticing this slowly walked away.

"Why did you want to meet?".elise stared the lady in front of her,she didn't look older than her and the way she was dressed like a celebrity made her look much younger.
She was wearing a white shirt and a black leather trousers and a jacket which colour is black as well and her face was covered with a sunglasses and a nose mask so she couldn't see the lady's s face.
Elise had thought that she entered the wrong room but when she confirmed that she wasn't wrong she couldn't help but wonder if logan's client was a celebrity.
"Straight to the point".the lady commented nodding."I like it".elise could hear the smile in her voice."then...I won't beat around the bush".
Elise watched as the female in front of went through her bag bringing out a book which looked familiar to her but elise was unsure."I actually want to give this to you".
"What's this?".
"A book".she said which sounded like 'a book what else does it look like?' to elise.
"I know it's a book.what I meant was why you are giving me a book".elise said.
The female stretched the book in her hand towards elise."take it first".elise hesitated at first but then she took the book."the one you had before is the second part,this book is the beginning".
It was at this moment elise looked at the book she was holding and noticed that it actually wasn't a book but a diary."whose diary is this?".
"Anna".the lady replied which elise noticed the sadness in her voice.it made elise curious as to who the female in front of her was and her connection to anna.
"What exactly is your identity and why was anna's diary with you?".
"Those questions aren't important elise.you will know who I am when the time is right.i am here to deliver this book to you.it will help you with your investigation".the lady then stood up."please make sure to punish the ones involved in anna's murder".the lady then walks away.
Elise knew that the female was leaving and she wouldn't be able to stop her.."I have two questions to ask you".
The lady stopped in her tracks."please go ahead and ask me".she said her back facing elise."although no promises".
"You are a relative of anna right?".elise then adds."if I am going to use this diary as a piece of evidence,I have to confirm that it wasn't illegally collected".
"No".the lady said."I am not a relative of hers and I can assure you that I didn't get that diary using illegal means".she then adds."what's your second question?".
"I need a way to address you even if it's a nickname or intials.anything will do".elise couldn't be calling her logan's client.
"Call me J".the lady said then adds."you should be more careful now miss elise,do not trust anyone not even your best friend.i wouldn't want you to get hurt".she then whispers something before she walked away but elise heard the words.
"the way I did"....

"What?".michael couldn't believe his ears."have you gone crazy?.are you out of your mind?.why would you do such a thing?".
Jessica stared at the fuming male chuckling."you are freaking out.didn't think I would ever witness a scene like this".
"You are smiling?".micheal was trying so hard to suppress the urge to strangle the female in front of him
"Relax boy".jessica said."I was just joking.i am not that crazy yet". although she said she was joking, micheal didn't believe her especially after she was staring at him with a strange glint in her eyes.
"Don't joke with such things jess". micheal warned."you know I hate such jokes".
"Don't worry". jessica assured him."am still in this with you.i can't possibly do that,can I?".Instead of being assured,it did the opposite to micheal.he couldn't help but start to think of ways to be assured.
