"She has been released?".elise asked surprised at what she just heard.
After her conversation with logan,she called so kelly so they could go see lily together but when they were told that the girl had been released.
"You didn't know?".kelly asked as they walked out of the place.
"If I knew, would I have asked you with me here?".elise snapped.
When it dawned on her on how she reacted to kelly she immediately felt bad.she sighs then turn to face her."am sorry for snapping at you".
"it's okay elise.i understand".kelly said."besides I asked you the wrong question".
"Thank you".elise said."I don't know why snapped at you.it wasn't even your fault".
"It might be because you are frustrated".kelly said."don't worry about that.i am not mad or anything".
"So what do we do now?".kelly asked after a while of silence.
"Honestly I don't know".elise said."there's no new clue to keep the investigation going.am afraid the case will be closed".
"What about logan?". kelly asked."who knows?.maybe he has an idea".kelly shrugged.
"Maybe".elise said."but will he tell me?".she remembered how logan never really told her what he knew.
"This time,I think he will".kelly confidently said.
Elise glanced at kelly skeptical after she spoke."why are you so sure?".
"It's a woman's instinct". Kelly shrugged."you wouldn't understand".
"It's you that I wouldn't understand not your instincts".elise said walking away.
"Where are you going?".kelly said as she hasten her steps so she was walking besides elise.

"Jordan".kelly called."you are here too".she was annoyed at him for leaving her clueless about his whereabouts but she was glad to see him okay.
"Yeah". jordan nodded.
"I am here as well".andy announced since the two women didn't seem to notice his existence."hi".
"We know".kelly said as she took her seat beside jordan."you don't need to announce it".
"Oh". andy replied."I thought you guys only cared about your lovers".
Elise cleared her throat as she speaks."are you jealous?".she was done with the staring competition with logan.
"Actually am not".andy said."it's so hard to be the single one.you couples wouldn't understand".
"That aside".logan said wanting to change the subject."it's so rare for us to be gathered completely".
Andy nodded."I agree with you on that".
"Since we are all here, let's make it worthwhile".elise said.
"Hasn't it always been worthwhile?". andy asked elise who ignored his question.
Instead logan spoke."what do you suggest?".
"To be honest,I came here to ask you questions".elise said.

"Yea".elise nodded."I need a clue to keep the investigation going but I have none".

Logan said nothing else as another staring competition began.
"um..guys".kelly said grabbing the duo's attention who no longer spoke but stared at each other"we are still here".

"I did say so".elise remembered that truly she had spoken those words but she didn't get why logan suddenly brought it up.
"Lily's arrest was a warning to you to get you to stop the investigation and she being released is a message to you".
"If they could get her arrested then they can also release her.if they can do these then there's nothing that they wouldn't be able to do ".elise said completing logan words."it really is a message ".she scoffed.
"Wow that's a lot". jordan breathe out as he glanced at every single person in the room for their reaction."am I the only one surprised?".
"Shut up".kelly said as she elbowed jordan."don't act like you are clueless about all these".she then turned to logan."who do you think is behind all this?".
"A kid".andy said confidently."this is surely a kid doings.a not so smart one though".

"Because of the childishness".elise said."right?".she was talking to andy.
Logan who had been in his deep thoughts finally spoke, seriousness showing on his face."and the time".he then adds."only the young ones have the time to play and send messages through actions.for some reasons they think it's cool and threatening".
"So an arrogant brat".elise said."it's takes a lot to get me scared.i am not going to stop the investigation.i will show whover is behind all this that they are messing with the wrong person".
"If it's a teen just like you said then he must be in the same class as anna".kelly said.

There was silence for a brief moment as they were deep in thoughts."And how was I supposed to know that?".elise asked breaking the silence."you tried to stop me from taking the case,when I find a little clue somehow everything disappears and now I received a warning.i am the one kept in the dark yet you expect me to know that lily and anna were dating.how?!".elise asked looking directly at logan."how?!"logan said nothing instead he took the criticism.
"What else is it that you are hiding from me?".elise asked.
Just as logan was about to speak,his phone beeped.he took out his phone and checked.
"My client wants to meet you elise".
