Standing in front of a store stood a young girl wearing a black jacket with her hands tucked in the pocket,with a beanie that was covering her head showing only the tip of her hair that was blonde.
She was standing at the opposite side of the store watching a particular person that was inside the store from a reasonable distance.
*phone rings*.she untucked her hands as she picked up the call.
"Hello"
~You know that you shouldn't be outside so why are you outside!~it was a male voice and whoever the male was that spoke was clearly couldn't care less about pleasantries at that minute.
"I will go back soon.i am not going to cause any trouble for you".the girl said."I promise to not cause any trouble for you".
~That's not what I am saying,I know you won't cause trouble intentionally.you shouldn't be seen by people, it's not safe for you to be out~the girl heard a sigh from the phone.~you would be in danger,if there's any mistake so please come back inside~
"I will but not now".the girl said with determination on her face."I must see if she is well".
~What?.who is it that you are risking your safety for?!~the caller asked annoyed .~you are not supposed to be out, it's dangerous.how many times have I said this?,why do you never listen to me?!~
"My sister".the girl said her expression soften as she spoke.it wasn't that she didn't want to listen and go back inside but was hard to just stay locked in when she needed to see her loved ones.
Expecially her sister because it seemed that her sister had a hard time with everything that had happened to them.she was unable to control herself.
~i should have known that she was the one you went to see~hearing the girl's response,the male paused for a sec before speaking in a gentle tone.~is she doing okay?.how is she?~
"Staring at her right now,if I was to answer your question I'll say that she's okay".the girl said then paused."but I also think that she is not okay as well".
~oh~
"i would be so happy and relieved if she's truly okay".the girl said with a sad smile."she was the one in pain the most,she was the who suffered the most.i really want her to be happy,I want her to be truly happy".
~i understand~.the male said.~don't take too long,after a while come back here and be careful on your way back ~
"Thank you".the girl said gently before ending the call.she then with a sigh continued to watch her sister.

"Elise". when she heard her name called, elise turned her head only to see kelly.
"Hey".she greeted shortly and turned her attention back to the coffee she was having.
She was currently sitting inside a cafe store, reading a book but also constantly getting distracted with her wandering mind.
Kelly frowned as she walked towards elise."hey".kelly said as she took a seat in front of elise."what's wrong?".she could notice that elise wasn't her usual self.
"Why?".elise asked instead of replying as she filpped a page.she doubted that she had finished reading the page though.
"You don't look well and you don't sound good too". kelly said.
"I am just stressed out".
"you are always stressed if not tired".
"It's because of work".
"Work?.so how's the investigation going?". seeing as elise mentioned work,kelly decided to ask.
"Nowhere apparently".elise answered taking a sip of the coffee she had been drinking.
"So what's going to happen?".
"I have been ordered to stop the investigation and close the case,and if I don't do it they will do it themselves".elise rakes her hand through her hair frustrated."it's either I do it willing or they will do it with force".
"Why?"
"For some days, there's been no clue or lead.the case isn't going forward ".elise said."It seems like I am wasting time to them because I was told to stop wasting my time".
"I am sorry elise".kelly said sincerely as she held elise's hands with hers."I have not been very helpful to you".
Elise glanced at kelly shaking her head."It's not your fault".elise said."there's nothing that we both could do".
"There is".kelly said hesitantly at first."I believe there is something that you can do now".
Elise looked at kelly coming to realize that kelly had sequeezed her hands tightly."What do you mean?.spill it kelly".
"I apologize in advance again".kelly said to elise who remembered that she had apologized earlier."there's someone who' wants to speak to you.i brought him here with me so you two could meet".
Elise stared at kelly trying to guess who it was that wants to meet her."is it..". elise eyes were wide as she tried to speak but was cut off by kelly who placed her hands in front of her.
"Look,I know that you are going to get mad but listen to first".kelly said wanting to explain."I figured that they know things we don't know when he came to me,he wants to speak to you about something important so please listen to him.please hear what he has to say before you get angry".
Then in that minute, someone walked in towards the two ladies making elise to stop whatever she was about to say.kelly apologized again to elise then left the scene not before sending a glare as she passed the newcomer.
