"She truly moved out". logan sighs as he plups down on the chair.
"you knew she was going to, right?".hunter asked as he watched his friend.
"Yea". logan nodded."she actually told me".
"But you thought she was joking?".guessed hunter.
"No". logan shakes his head."elise doesn't say what she doesn't mean.i knew that she was going to do it but I didn't think it would be this soon".
"that's funny". hunter said.
"why?".
"it's funny that you of all people would think that way.afterall we both know that she does the things she says in an instant".hunter then added."it's funny that you think she wouldn't leave soon but maybe it's for the best though".
"How?".
"She knows now that you won't tell her anything so she won't ask you ever again and you won't need to tell a lie too". hunter said with a shrug."you will be able to focus on your work and do it properly without worries". hunter added.
"that's what you think?". logan asked staring at his friend who nodded his head at him."hmm"
"I don't think I could work better,if anything it's going to worse now".logan then adds."now that we are talking about work,how is it going?.did you get what I ask you to?".
"Yea".hunter said confidently."you should trust me".to which he received a doubtful look from logan."you don't need to worry".
"I should be feeling relieved at your words right now but instead I am getting worried ". logan said.
"Am heartbroken".hunter placed his hand on his dramatically."I feel like I have been stabbed in my chest.how could you say such heartless words to me?".
"You are crazy".logan shakes his head at his friend."I pity the girl who would fall for you".
"there's no such girl currently".hunter said."besides you should know that I might not be good at other things but i'm good at what I do.i am good at my job".
"yea". logan said half heartedly."just tell me about the findings first".he was getting impatient.
"After listening to the client,I went back to the club where anna worked.i did some investigation and questioning too,then I was told that anna met up with a strange woman a week before she died".
"A strange woman?. logan asked."and the meeting took place week before her death?".
"Yea".hunter nodded."I was told that she wears red all the time she was seen visiting anna.it might be normal to others,but I think it's strange.it can't be that she wears red all the time because she likes red.it's supicious too that she met with anna a week before anna died".hunter had been feeling supicious ever since he found out about the existence of a woman that was always seen wearing no other color expect for red clothes.
"I agree with you on that.it's really weird about the clothin". logan said."I wonder what her reasons are but we will figure out that later when we meet her?".
"I hope we meet her sooner.i want to be done with this case.i am getting exhausted these days".hunter said as he sighed."I haven't been able to sleep much these days because of the pressure I am getting from the executives".the playful hunter was nowhere to be found at the minute.
Logan glanced at his friend feeling guilty as he realized that he was the reason why hunter was getting stressed."thank you hunter for everything". logan said sincerely.
He could imagine the stress his friend was going through at the moment."I am thankful that you are doing this with me even though it's not your job".
"You don't need to thank me". hunter said."I will always do everything I can to help you and elise anytime you guys need it.that was families do and I consider you two my family".he then adds."besides I also want to know the truth".
"I will do everything I can to uncover the truth". logan assured hunter.it was the only means of repaying hunter,it was the only way to ensure that there efforts would not go to waste.
"Is there any pictures or maybe a video so I can see the woman?". logan asked,his voice sounding a bit deeper than usual.it was clear that he has switched to the business mode.
"Yea".hunter nodded."I got a picture with me but it's not that clear".he brought out a picture and showed it to logan.
"she's wearing red". logan noted as he looked at the picture.the woman in the picture was wearing a red dress,with a red hat as well wearing matching red shoes but logan was unable to see her face as the picture was not clear."do you think that she is purposely doing this?".
"I don't know". hunter said."why do you think so?".
"She might be wearing red clothes all the time so she could be noticed after all this type of dressing is unusual". logan said."it would be unforgettable to whoever sees her".
"You have a point there".hunter said."if your analysis is true,why would she want to be noticed?".
"Am afraid,only her could answer that question". logan said."only her would also have the answer as to why she met up with anna".
Anna would have an answer to that but there was no way they could ask her since she was dead after all.
"yea". hunter agreed."also,while I was in the club,I was told that anna seemed to be a bit familiar with the woman".
"What about the woman?". logan asked."did you manage to get her information?".
"um..I did but it's not that much of an info though". hunter said.
"Tell what you found". logan said."I might ask jordan for a favor later".
"Some people who knows her said that she dealed drugs,but they don't know her real name"
"Why would anna be familiar with someone who deals drugs?".
"I don't know". hunter said."unless anna dealed drugs too but that's impossible right?".it was supposed to be a joke but logan was considering that.
"if anna truly knew anything about drugs,it would affect the case".logan said.
"it would also mean that the client wasn't lying".hunter said.
"Is there anything else about the woman?". logan asked."maybe her code name,or her customers or anything?".
"nothing else at the moment". hunter said."I was unable to continue with the inquiry".
"Why?". logan said.
"Because I saw elise walked in".
