"Has logan called anyone of you yet?".a male elderly voice asks.
"No dad".a teenage girly voice says."he has never ever called me and I don't think he will".
"He hasn't called me either".a female elderly voice says sounding a bit sad."I am a bit worried about him".
"What's wrong with him making us worry about him?".the male voice says."what kind of son refuses to call his family and refuses to come home?"
"Dad".the girly voice calls."I am sure he has his reasons.my brother isn't a bad son"
"No".Logan's father shakes his head at his youngest child."what reasons is there that he doesn't call home?".
"Honey"Logan's mother calls."please don't raise your voice and calm down".
Mr hall,logan's father calmed himself down just his wife said."Linda".he called.
"yes dad".the girly voice from before answers.she is logan's little sister.
"Get me my phone right now".Mr hall commanded to linda who hurriedly left to bring his phone.
"Honey".Mrs hall, logan's mother called ."why do you need your phone?".
"Since he has refused to call home,then I will call him".Mr hall said just as linda came back.
"Here is your phone dad"linda said handling the phone to her dad.
Mr hall collected the phone and dailed logan's number instantly.
"Speak gently to him".Mrs hall said as they all waited for a few seconds before the call was picked.
"Logan,what is the matter with you?,why are you making us this worried about you".Mr hall said without waiting for a response."Do you hate us that much?,or you no longer consider us your family?".
"Logan"mrs hall couldn't take it as she burst into tears."it's me,your mother".
"Logan".linda called."it's me,linda.hope you haven't forgotten me?".they all spoke but there was no response.
"Are you not going to say anything?"Mr hall said."I was wondering why you picked up,I was glad though".
~um...~a familiar female voice says.~it's me elise, not logan~
Everyone was surprised to hear that since it was logan who supposed to be speaking.
"Hi elise"Linda says a bit cheerful."we didn't know that it was you who picked up the call".
~Logan isn't here so...I picked the call instead ~elise explained.
"elise how have you been doing?, it's been so long".Mrs hall said.
~Have been doing fine mom.i am sorry for not contacting you all this while ~elise apologized.
"No elise".Mrs hall said shaking her head."you don't need to say sorry.i understand that you have your reasons".
~what about dad?~elise tries to blink away the tears that were starting to drop.
"Am fine elise.perfectly fine".Mr hall says."where is Logan?".he then asked.
They heard no response as elise didn't say anything."elise dear?".Mrs hall called but still got no response.
After few seconds,a male voice spoke.~it's logan~.they couldn't believe their ears.
"Logan?".Mrs hall wanted to confirm if she wasn't dreaming."is this a dream?".
"No mom".Linda says."it's not a dream but reality.it's truly my...brother".
"After so long years,I finally heard your voice logan"Mrs hall didn't bother to stop the tears that were coming.
~Mom~. Logan voice sounded sad as he spoke.~i have to go now,i will call you later ~
"Wait...".Mrs hall tried but logan had already hung up the call."Although it was a short moment,I am glad to have hear his voice".
"Mom".linda called gently as she held her mom's hands with hers."he promised to call back.i am sure that he will definitely call".
Mr hall said nothing as he sighs gently while watching linda pacify his wife.

"Elise". logan ran to grab her hands."wait a sec".he said turning her to face him.
"You have a call logan "elise stated."go on,continue with the call".
"I already hung up". logan said."I will call them later".elise couldn't believe her ears.
"What?". elise asked."you hung the call?.I never knew you were this heartless logan.your family are missing you but here you are not caring about them!".
"No elise.it isn't like that". logan said trying to explain himself."you know that".
"There's nothing that I know logan". elise shakes her head as she added to her words."nothing".
"if I still was on call with them,you would have left."logan said."isn't that right?".
Elise wore a look of shock briefly on her face as she stared at logan."no matter what,I would have left".
"Elise...". logan started but was stopped by elise who gestured for him to stop talking.
"There's no need for the talks".elise said emotionlessly."you can't stop me from leaving".she made an attempt to walk away but was stopped by logan who stood in front of her.
"What is it logan?".elise said trying not to waver"what do you want?,huh?".
"Elise please". logan pleads."just let me explain okay?.I know that right now you don't even want to see my face,but please let me explain".
"Explain what?".elise scoffed."I don't think that there's anything to say".
"just hear me out". logan said."please elise,this is not what you think it is.it's all a misunderstanding".
"Logan". elise called."please don't say anything.i am tired,I don't have the strength to listen to you".she shakes his hand that was holding her away.
"Maybe some other time".she starts to walk away."but definitely not now". logan said nothing else as he watched her leave.
