Camerron's Point of View
It's been one week since I fulfilled Nial's wish for us to be friends and because of that we are often together during break time, I also found out where his classroom finally is. I've been with him more often than Clare so the witch has been so jealous.
I also went back to the hospital a few times in a week, I felt like the medicine I was taking was no longer helping me to feel ok so I really had no other choice but to go to the hospital.
As usual, mom was worried about me again, she suggested that I do home school but I resisted. For the remaining days of my life I want it to be normal.
"Oh, what miracle makes you alone there."
Clare suddenly appeared in front of me, I'm here in the canteen now and she's right, I'm alone because I haven't seen Nial since last day. His classmate said he didn't go in his classes either. Where is that man?
"Hey," I greeted him wearily. She sat down next to me and put down the food he had brought.
"Nial didn't come to school today?"
'Yah, I don't know why. Suddenly he was absent 'I frowned.
I was annoyed because Nial didn’t even text me why. As far as I remember he took my number.
“You just don’t seen him for a day but you misses him already? hmm, ” she teased as she opened her sandwich.
I glared at her for what she said. Of course not!
"Hey Clare, stop easing me, okay? I don’t miss him. I’m just wondering why he’s absent today.” I stared at her even though she didn't see it because she started to eat.
“What? I'm just saying that you miss him as a friend. 'Aren’t you?' She answered me with a laugh.
I know she’s just pretending, I knew what she meant.
I started eating the food that in front of me that I couldn't eat because I was wondering what was Nial's reason for his absence. It’s quite weird that there’s no Nial smiling in front of me right now instead a Clare maliciously looking at me while I’m eating.
Clare accompanied me until the end of our break time, she said she had to make the most of the time without Nial so that she could be with me. Well as I have said, I haven't been with her too much lately because of Nial and I feel guilty for that.
After we ate together we entered our next class. I still don't feel really well and I'm not comfortable either. I feel something is missing, I feel something is wrong. I just gasped. Is it because Nial is gone today?
The day passed as if I had no interest in listening to the lessons. Clare invited me to go home with her but I let her go first. I don't know, but I wanna be alone now. I took a taxi to go to the Mall, I still don't want to go home and besides I haven't been able to go to any places for a long time because I spent most of my time to the hospital.
"Manong sa East Mall po," I said reluctantly to the driver. I took out my phone to check if Nial had texted.
I almost screamed when his name suddenly registered on the screen of my phone.
MASTER NIAL
Can you go here at my house? I need someone, please.
I was suddenly nervous because of his message. When I looked at what time the message was sent, I just hit the taxi seat because it was 5 hours ago. Argh, why didn't I check my phone earlier?
“Manong please send me to the Silver Homes subdivision. Please hurry up. ” The driver’s face got confused while I dial Nial’s number.

"Why did you turn off your phone, heck!" I whispered to myself as I kept trying to call his phone but it is really turned off.
Then I suddenly thought mom, shit. She must be looking for me. I quickly dial mom's number. I have to tell I will be late so that she won’t worry about me just like before.
"Hello mom."
“Hello baby, where are you?”
"Mom I'm sorry, I just need to go somewhere."
“Where? With whom?"
“I’m going to Nial’s house. I'll explain later but I'm fine no need to worry. ”
The other line was silent because she did not answer immediately. Please, I hope she agrees.
"Ok, keep safe baby ok?"
"Yes mom, thank you." I rested my head. Fortunately, she didn't ask any more questions.
I put down my cellphone and looked outside. I was even more worried about him, hays what could have happened to him.
I quickly paid and got out of the taxi when we reached the opposite side of Nial's house. It's a good thing he really told me his address otherwise I'll have to search before I see him.
A very large red gate was exposed in front of me. I was literally stunned by the sheer size of the house in front of me. Why should I be surprised? almost everyone knows that this subdivision is really high class. But wow, really, I didn't think Nial was this rich.
Aside from being the vocalist in the school band, he also has gigs at events. He didn't need money because he was so rich.
I’m just standing in front of the doorbell because I was not sure if I would press it or not. Oh Camerron, are you still scared? Will I just stand here?
Even though my hand was shaking, I slowly put my finger on the doorbell. Ok Camerron, calm down. But before I could ring the doorbell, I was surprised when the big gate in front of me slowly opened. Wait, I haven't pressed it yet, have I?
I was suddenly startled when a very beautiful woman came out of the gate. She smiled when she saw me standing to their gate.
"H-hello," I said with mixed nervousness to the woman who came out. I didn't know what to say.
"Are you Cammeron ija?"
She asked me in a soft voice, gosh how beautiful her face is, how beautiful her voice is. I couldn't help but stare at her, She also has very black shoulder -length hair. Her eyes are so bossy, when you look her in the eye you can hardly take your eyes off those. But of all the beautiful features that she has, I still noticed that she looked like Nial.
"Yes?"
"P-po?"
I went back to the right mood when she suddenly spoke, I was so staring at her that I didn't even notice that she was already in front of me.
"I'm asking if you're Camerron, Nial's friend?" She asked me with a smile.
"Yes, it's me."
I'm embarrassed to answer.
“He has been waiting for you for a while, come in. I will go with you. ”
She suddenly took my hand and helped me enter the gate of their house, or should I say their PALACE. Omg, if it's so beautiful on the outside, it's like my saliva is dripping from how beautiful it is on the inside. The interior design of the house has a Spanish era mode, the ambiance is very nice, maybe it's nice to live here.
“Have you been friends with my son for a long time? It's a good thing that he has a friend at his new school. ” Her voice was happy as she said that.
"She's your son?" My question was mixed with shock.
Gosh, she looks too young to be Nial's mom. I thought she was just Nial's sister. She laughed slightly at my question as she accompanied me up the stairs.
"Yes, why, isn't it obvious?"
She was still smiling, they have the same smile, so beautiful.
"I'm sorry, I thought you were his sister."
“No it's ok. I'm used to being mistaken for Nial's brother, well… ”her smile widened. How can she not be mistaken, she looks so young and so beautiful.
I never spoke again because I was really ashamed of her, I just followed her wherever we went. With the size of this house, I feel like I will get lost here when I go somewhere.
"Here."
We stopped in front of a bedroom. This is probably Nial's room, I suddenly became nervous. I was just stunned at the door and did nothing when I noticed that Nial's mommy was staring at me while smiling. I really feel like my cheeks are red now.
“Go ahead, you can enter his room, he is waiting for you. I'll leave now."
"T-thank you."
"No problem."
After she said that she smiled at me one last time before finally turning around and walking back to where we passed before. Now I'm just here while still staring at the door of Nial's room. I slowly opened the door which made a little noise. I was greeted by a familiar smell, the whole room smelled like Nial's, the smell was drowsy from the excessive fragrance.
"Mom, I need to rest. You go out first." He suddenly spoke which surprised me. His voice was barely strong and he was obviously still drowsy.
She was lying on her big bed while wrapped in a blanket. He thought maybe I was his mommy. Wait is he sick? To the great embarrassment of her mommy I never asked what really happened to him and why he sent me here.
Why does it seem like his voice is dull and a bit hoarse. I slowly walked closer to him, I knew he could hear me walking because my feet were making a little noise. Well, I'm not that heavy.
"Ma, please"
I ignored him and sat on the side of his bed. I smiled suddenly, like a child.
"I just got here, master. You want me to leave?" I whispered softly.
"Shit!"
He suddenly removed the blanket that wrapped around him and looked at me in shock. I want to laugh at the way he looks.
"I'm sorry I thought it was mom who came in."
I noticed that he was pale and his eyes were also dull. But in fairness, he's still handsome. He wrapped his body in a blanket again, he looked very cold but it’s warm here.
"I'm sick so I couldn't get to school."
He said sleepily to me while closing his eyes.
"And I'm sending you here because…" He obviously had a hard time speaking.
“Because you want to wish me to heal you? Master, didn't I tell you that I can't fulfill the wishes that— “
"No, not that."
He cut me off from what I was going to say.
"I just want to see you."
He still closed his eyes when he said that. Ok Camerron, just calm down. OMG! What's happening to me? Why is my heart beating so fast, will I have a heart attack again?
"My master, confirmed, you're sick," I joked to him.
I suddenly felt uncomfortable. Moments later no one spoke to the two of us, too awkward. He just closed his eyes, he looks so pale now.
"Can you turn off the aircon?" he suddenly commanded after a silence.
I looked at the aircon on the side of his room. I was surprised because it’s turn off already, that's why I feel so hot.
"It’s turn off, Master."
"It's cold." His voice was shaking.
I looked around, I don't know what to do. I approached him and rubbed his forehead. Maygod, he's so hot!
"Master you're so hot, wait I'll call your mom."
I was about to get up when I suddenly felt him hold my hand to stop me from standing up.
'N-no…' he whispered while still closing his eyes.
"But need to be taken to the hospital."
I can almost hear his breathing, also the coldness of his hands holding me.
"Just stay Cams… that's my 3rd wish." I took a deep breath. I don’t know how I feel, I’m so worried about him.
I stared at his face, he was obviously having a hard time with his appearance. I checked the time on my watch and it was 6:30. I know I told mom but I know she will still be worried when I don't come home but I also can't leave Nial, and besides that's my Master's wish.
"Wish noted, Master."
I had a weak answer to him. He didn't speak again but I could feel him shaking because his hand was still clinging to me. He never let go.
“Master”
I whispered to him but he didn't say a word, maybe he was asleep. I just adjusted his blanket so he wouldn't be too cold. I'm not used to watching over the sick so I don't know what to do. It was obvious from his appearance that he was having difficulty because of his fever. Why doesn't he want to send him to the hospital.
I have to go to her mom.
