Nial's Point of View
“Everyone go to your assigned seats now! Double time! ”
Our adviser shouted loudly. One by one we got on the bus with my other classmates. Each section has a single bus assigned. I saw that the other grade levels and sections were also entering their respective buses.
“Oy pre! Why are you at the end of the line? ”
Marcus tapped me coming from the pretty front line which surprised me. I'm surprised to see him.
"I'm just going to get there, wait, why do we seem to have so many?" I replied to him, still a little sleepy.
"Ah yes, there are two sections to take our bus because there are only a few of us in our section."
"Is that so."
I turned my back, and five more people followed me in line.
"All right, let me go back to my line."
I just nodded and waited for those in front of me to enter. I was about to board the bus when our adviser suddenly stopped me.
"There are no vacant seats here."
I stopped and looked at my classmates who were inside now, they signaled to me that there were no more vacant seats inside the bus.
"Where are we going to ride ma'am?" I just scratched my head while looking at our adviser who was obviously having problems as well.
"I'll transfer you to another bus, c'mon follow me."
The rest of us who had not yet boarded followed and looked for a bus with available seats. He got on a bus and talked to the teacher assigned there and soon he returned TO us.
"You will join section A, go there because we are leaving."
We all nodded and entered the bus he pointed out, we were greeted by Mr. Dela Cruz to tell us where to sit.
“Nial Alcantara, sit in the seat next to Ms. Garcia. ”
He pointed to a chair where a woman was sleeping with a headset attached to her ear. I knew who she was, I just smiled when I finally sat next to Camerron Garcia who was sound asleep.
I was a bit taken aback because there were a few people looking in our direction. I'm just getting used to that because I noticed that people are always looking at me every time and I don’t know why. I also saw Cams' bestfriend Clare and she said hello to me. I just smiled at her and greeted her back.
Soon the bus started to move, meaning we were on our way to our first destination. Cams next to me still doesn't wake up, she's so sleepy, doen;t she have enough sleep last night?.
While on our way, the students inside the busy started to make noise, singing, someone was teasing and the others were like Cams who were already asleep. It was still a bit long before we reached the first destination.
Soon I felt Cams move next to me, I thought she would wake up but I was shocked when she straightened up and put her head on my shoulder. I could not react immediately and I suddenly stopped moving.
"Clare stay still, my head hurts… I’m already nauseous ." She suddenly whispered in a drowsy voice while her eyes were still closed. Wait, he thought I was Clare?
I looked around, some noticed our position so they suddenly whispered and the others seemed to be giggling at what they are seeing. I felt my face suddenly heat up, I also couldn't move because I might wake her up or drop her head on my shoulder.
Soon I noticed a camera flash, I looked at Clare holding a cellphone and focused on us while smiling. I just ignored her and let the others still watching us.
I thought she was just going to sleep but suddenly she took my arm and hugged it, I looked at her but her eyes were still closed like earlier. I feel like I'm stuck in my seat, I don't know what to do because she thought that it was Clare she’s been hugging for the whole time.
Cammeron's Point of View
I felt cold so I cupped Clare's arm and hugged her. Wait… why does her arm seem to have grown? I will teach her to really diet, she is gaining weight.
I moved my body closer to her because it was really very cold, it's a good thing she wasn't moving. I was so drowsy, I only slept for about an hour.
I was surprised when I smelled a familiar odor, in my drowsiness as if I could smell Nial next to me. But it's impossible, we're not in the same section so he's definitely on another bus now. I think we've been together too much lately so I'm getting used to the smell of him.
"Clare, why do you smell like that?" I asked her softly while still closing my eyes.
It really smells like Nial, I can't be wrong. Even though I’m still sleepy, I put my nose to the side of her neck to smell her well.
"Why's that, you smell like Nial," I complained.
After I smelled her, I hugged her arm even tighter. Why is it so cold here on the bus, annoying.
"Because I'm Nial, Cams."
Am I just dreaming or did I really hear Nial's voice? I was nervous for a while but maybe it was just the music on my headset.
I just ignored it and went back to sleep.

I woke up when I suddenly felt something moving me. There was also a lot of noise around and there was no music playing on the headset I was wearing.
"Clare, where are we?"
I asked her lazily while my head was still resting on her shoulder. The bus has stopped so we may be here at our first destination. I'm out of breath, I don't want to go down, I still want to sleep.
"That's fine, let's get off the bus."
My breathing seemed to stop because I suddenly heard Nial's voice again, wait, am I still dreaming? I'm awake, aren't I? Why can I hear his voice.
"If you don't move there, we'll be just be left here."
Seems like I want to sleep again, omg! Is this real? I can really hear his voice. Suddenly I was nervous, what if he was here? B-but it's impossible, Clare is next to me.
The noise around me slowly disappeared so Iopened my eyes while I also slowly looked at the one next to me.
"OMG!"
Suddenly my world stopped when Nial's face was exposed to me. Lord I hope I'm just dreaming, please I hope I'm just dreaming again. It was as if I stiffened in my seat, that's why the size of his arm are big ... then the smell of him. OMG! Camerron what did you do!
"After you make me a pillow and hug my arm the whole trip, you'll just look at me like that?" He raised an eyebrow as he looked at me.
I want to cover my face with so much embarrassment, can I just disappear. Even though I want to speak but the words seemsin my mount seems to disappear and doesn’t want to come out of my mouth, my whole face also feels so hot.
"Fix yourself and get ready, they're all left the bus and starting to line up outside"
He suddenly stood up and walked to the door of the bus while I was stunned as I watched his back until he got off.
W-wait, is he angry? Why does his face look emotionless. Damn it! Why don't I check who's next to me. Besides, why is he on our bus, as far as I know, the bus in their section is different. Argh!
After a few minutes of convincing my body to act, I finally got off the bus. I saw the others not far away during our adviser's mini-meeting. I quickly approached them when I saw Clare, oh! This woman.
"Hey Girl!" Weakly but firmly I said as soon as I could approach her with another slap on the arm.
He turned his back on me because of that.
“Ouch, I'm fine. Why?"
He scolded me while nuzzling her arms that I hit. I made sure it really hurt, this witch.
"Don't ouch ouch me, why didn't you sit next to me in the bus?"
She suddenly smiled at what I said so I looked at her.
"Gosh,c’mom, stop talking like you didn’t enjoyed the person next to you.”
She answered me while waving his cellphone in front of me..
“Ok class for the last reminder, your partners in this whole tour will be the ones next to you in the bus seat. So make sure you don't separate your partners so that nothing will be lost by the time we get back here. Are we all clear? ”
My classmates answered Yes at the same time. What ?!
"And of course, those from other sections that are mixed here, you will stay with your partners even if you are from another section," added our advisor.
“Oh did you hear that? Shoo! Go to Nial, your parter. ”
She just laughed while holding her new partner's hand. I just stared at her and looked around to find Nial. Looks like I really need to face the embarrassment I caused.
"Hey partner."
I turned the caller behind me and saw Nial smiling at me. He seemed angry a while ago and now he's smiling, is he mentally ill?.
"M-master," I stammered.
“What kind of look is that. Are you okay?"
He started walking, I noticed that the others were also entering the building. I just followed Nial and we joined the queue of 2 lines inward.
"I'm sorry earlier master, I thought Clare was next to me."
I was embarrassed to tell him as we walked.
"It's ok, it hurts a bit and my shoulder just hurts, you slept on my shoulder for too long” he said casually so I don't know if he's really angry or not.
"You're not angry?"
He just turned to me and then smiled.
"No."
"I thought you're angry earlier." I pout.
"Ow, that?" he started to chuckle.
"What's so funny?" I ask him, confused why he's laughing.
"Nothing, I just acted like that because I want you to prepare faster."
I raised my eyebrow, "hey! You're so mean!"
He just smile at me. A very sweet smile.
That smile again, it gives me mini heart attack. My heart seems to skip a beat when he's smiling at me like that.
