Camerron's Point of View
I'ts a good thing that mom didn't get mad at me for not coming home last night. I tell her everything and she seems to believe it, though she has too many questions and I still have to explain to her that Nial and I are just friends and nothing else.
I also received a text from Nial coming home saying thank you again and again and sorry because he didn't sent me home and personally talk to mom so that he would have explained everything, I told him it was ok.
"Finish your food, we need to go to the hospital now for your check-up."
Mommy and I are currently eating lunch today. By the way, I almost forgot my check-up today. I don't want to skip again, I was taken away once when I didn't attend my check-up.
"Mom, can I ask you a question?" I suddenly asked her.
"Of course baby, what is it?" she replied while sipping the dish.
"Was I also scared in the hospital when I was young?"
She looked at me as if wondering at my question.
"No baby, why did you ask?"
I ate the rest of the food on my plate and drank water before answering.
"Nothing, because I know someone who really doesn't want to go to the hospital."
I secretly smiled when I remembered Nial.
I waited for mommy to finish eating and we prepared to leave for the hospital. As usual, that's what my doctor says about my illness, as time goes on I don't feel anything else every time he says my condition keeps getting worse. I think I'm too used to it because of everyone's repeated reminders to me.
I'm dying, and I can't escape from it.
The next morning I went in school early, I noticed that I wasn't late these fast few days, in fairness I was improving and my first subject teacher didn't get mad at me anymore.
“Hey Cams! Bessy! ”
Clare immediately greeted me as I entered the school lobby.
"Good morning!" I greeted him while smiling.
"Oh, you had a nice morning, ah, it looks like you really had a great time.” She is obviously teasing me. I told her about what happened that night with night and I kinda regret telling her, I’s really a bad idea.
"Wait, is it bad to be happy?" I also raised an eyebrow at her.
"Not really, but there seems to be a question when you're the one who comes in so happy, eh."
"Stop it and shut up."
I smirked at her but I couldn't help but laugh at her continuous teasing. It's true, I'm just really happy and I don't know why.
I pulled her to go up to the second floor and go to our room but we were stopped because we could not pass because of the crowd on our way. They messed up the announcement board that Clare and I both wondered.
"What's with the commotion Clare?" I asked her. I'm feeling outdated again with what's going on.
"I don't know, let's see." It looks like she also has no idea.
I was still hesitant if I looked at what they were having trouble with because there were so many people and I didn't know if we could get in without getting hurt in the crowd. But Clare's pulled me at the center of the crowd.. Knowing this girl it is sure that she will really fight everyone to get close.
“Excuse me! Pass it on! What the heck, step aside, you've been looking at that for a while, ah, there are many more waiting! ”
I scratched my head so hard because of her, I'm the only one who apologizes to those she drives away because the others are already being dragged aside.
We arrived right opposite the announcement board where a paper with a note was posted. I read it to find out what caused everyone's uproar.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
The school will be having its educational tour next week, Monday and all the students are required to join. Your participation will be your grade for your Homeroom. Please proceed to your advicers for inquiries and additional details. Have a good day everyone!
I finished reading what was written, now I know why. It's only now that our school will conduct a tour again so I know they are all very excited.
“OMG! Cams we have a tour! ' Clare shouted next to me, she really joined the noise of others.
“Yes, I read it. Come on, let's get out of here in the heat. ”
This time I pulled him out of the crowds of students.
“Wait, why don't you seem excited. Look oh, almost everyone is happy with the news, I guess you're the only one who isn't. ” Se also frowned in front of me.
Suddenly my mood changed, as if I was suddenly lazy.
"There's nothing special with the tour."
I lazily answered him as we went up the stairs to the second floor where our room was. The truth is I just really don't want to travel, because I'm getting dizzy all the time and I'm not used to it. I'm sure I won't just enjoy it.
"What? Why? Are you crazy, every tour is fun!"
"Whatever."
We entered our room and sat in our respective chairs, soon our first teacher came and we also started classes. Even though I was drowsy in the following subjects, I still listened because I didn't seem to be learning anything in the lessons.
After my morning class I went straight to the canteen for lunch, Clare didn't come with me again because Nial was definitely with me again and she didn't want to be the third wheel with us. Sometimes they really think the same as mommy or not just sometimes, often.
When I went down to the canteen I immediately saw Nial at a table while eating, he also saw me so he motioned me to approach him. As usual, he was wearing his immortal smile again.
"Hi Master!" I greeted him warmly as I sat in the chair in front of him.
"I've been waiting for you, eat that." He was kind to me.
Then I just noticed the extra food on our table.
"You should have waited for me so that I could just buy my food," I said as I handed him the food he was referring to.
"No, it's my treat."
"Wow Master, why?"
"That's for you going last night and taking care of me."
I suddenly remembered what happened again so I feel embarrassed again.
“Don’t worry about that, remember? I'm your Genie. ” I smiled at him then started eating the food he bought for me.
We just talked while eating, that's how I sometimes see other students still looking at us but I seem to be getting used to it and I seem to be getting used to it with Nial. Let's just say that because of he is a band vocalist and has a good looks, he is very famous here at school and he also has a lot of fans. Maybe his fans are really mad at me for being so close to him.
He also told me that his mother was inviting me to their house again, that his mother likes me because I;m smart and pretty
Nothing much happened during my whole week except that my chest tightened again while Nial and I were together. It's a good thing he didn't notice that and I recovered immediately, maybe because I was too tired. Because of that, my mom almost wouldn't let me on our tour because I might not be able to handle the trip but I insisted that I come, though I didn't really want to come in case it was really required at school.
"Have you arranged the things you will take on your tour tomorrow?"
I put the book I was reading on the bed when mommy suddenly came into my room.
"Yes mom, all ready to go," I replied.
"You sure you can, huh?"
“Mommy, of course I can. Trust me. ” I winked at her and her lips smiled.
'Ok, wait why are you still awake, it's 11:30 ah. Your bus leaves early tomorrow at 4:00 '
I took the book I was reading again and faced it.
"I'm not sleepy mommy, eh."
"Too excited?"
"No."
I answer quickly. I don't know why drowsiness doesn't seem to visit me.
'Ok, sleep later okay? I will rest too. Good night baby. ”
"Good night mommy."
I kissed her and waved a goodbye then she finally left my room. I continued reading hoping that drowsiness would visit me but it seemed vague because when I finished reading the whole book I looked at the time and at 1:15 in the morning I was still not drowsy.
I put the book aside and went to bed, I tried to sleep but my eyes just hurt from being close. I rolled on the bed, why doesn't sleepiness visit me. Annoyingly, I woke up in a few hours to prepare.
A few more minutes passed when I decided to go out to get some milk, just in case it worked as a sleeping pill. After I drank the milk I went up to my room again but I still couldn't really sleep, what is it that I look like I'll be awake until later.
