"Yo-you! How can you wield magic?!" Prince Caster exclaimed, holding on for dear life as he saw his sister from across the floor.
Prince Melvius was frozen in place as their guards surround their front, acting as a shield against Princess Yana.
"Hmm? Hardwork of course what else can it be" A sneering smile was evident on the princess's face.
As much as Princess Yana had came prepared to go against them, her mana had depleted. She only has enough for a few basic attacks and her swordsmanship could only handle so much.
Just then, the knights of the Princess's manor came in. They weren't many in number but they stood in front of the Prince Melvius and Prince Caster's soldiers.
The princess had thought that maybe they were at least going t ostand up for her in these moments but she thought wrong.
They stood ever so proudly beside both the prince's soldiers. Their faces drenched in fear and confusion but still looked proud of choosing the prince's side.
Seeing this, Princess Yana couldn't help but chuckle. She finds it funny how people would switch sides when it involves the chances of not dying but then again it's not like they were with her from the beginning.
No matter, the princess has decided to obliterate anyone who stands in her way. Sir Sebastian stood proudly beside her, not caring about his safety and that he would protect her with his life.
*BAM*
Sounds of explosion could be heard from the distance. Both parties have given their full attention towards the unknown sound.
Hearing the explosion had boosted Prince Melvius's pride as he positively believes that those explosions were caused by his men.
"Hah! Seems like your luck ends here Yana! My remaining soldiers have arrived to kill you!"
Princess Yana stood still, deep in thought. She was planning on her next course of action.
"...Sebastian" She called out softly.
"Yes, your highness" Sebastian looked more than ready, awaiting to accomplish whatever request the princess might ask of him.
"Go....I can take care of them on my own. So go"
"But princess!? You have my full support and loyalty! I will do anything for you even if it means walking into a battle I cannot win"
"Sebastian..." Princess Yana knew it was worthless in trying to convince him to leave.
"Then I suppose this is where it all ends. It was nice having you serve me Sebastian, your loyalty shall never be forgotten"
"I too am greatful for the opportunity to serve you, your highness. It is I who should be thanking you for choosing me to be on your side"
With a final glance from each other, the unknown sound kept getting much more closer and closer.
"Brother! Were the soldiers informed to blow up the main palace?! The explosions keep getting closer and closer!"
Prince Caster wasn't sure if he should be relieved or afraid of the approaching sound and seeing his brother's face confirms it.
"....No, I have not given such orders. It might be some backlash from the molotovs the soldiers carried around. Don't falter now younger brother"
"Tch, a-as if!"

The battle did not last as long. The princess had exhausted her powers and Sebastian had suffered heavy injuries across his body.
They were both now completely surrounded by the prince's soldiers, leaving them with no openings.
"Your life ends here dear sister. Hope you enjoy life in hell!"
Prince Melvius raised his sword, feeling his pride skyrocket for being able to defeat a soul mage. He swung his sword down and had expected to hear cheers of his courage but none came.
Murmurs were heard around him, he opened his eyes clearly frustrated by the lack of celebration until he noticed his blade had been cut.
A smooth cut could be seen on his blade, not even a single crack was seen. Just a clean cut as though the blade had just been forged.

"GET AWAY FROM THE PRINCESS!" I shouted from across the floor.
My blade had successfully deflected the blow of Melvius' sword. I could see the rest of Princess Yana's knights from the corner of my eye, clearly indicating whose side they were on.
How foolish.
By the prince's orders the soldiers charged at me. They must think I'm defenceless as I had thrown away my sword.
A soldier charged straight for my head. In a split second his head was detached from his body with hints of burn marks.
Melvius and Caster had unfathomable expression but they still ordered for all the soldiers to charge towards me.
One by one they all dropped dead. The screams of the soldiers can be heard echoing throughout the place.
By the time I had realized, my legs were lit up with flames as well, allowing me to run much quicker and leaving a trail behind me as I move.
"Burn you filthy bastards!"
The Princess's knights stood before me. They looked scared as though they didn't want to be in the position they are now. Well, it's too late now.
I swung my hand from left to right, aiming directly for their head. They all dropped to the floor at the same time. I really had hoped it wouldn't have ended like this with them.
After defeating the majority of soldiers, Melvius and Caster could finally be seen in sight.
I dashed straight for them, ignoring the remaining soldiers. I caught a glimpse of Princess Yana and Sir Sebastian. They seemed to be slowly recovering, that's good.
In a split moment, Melvius And Caster had finally left this world. I think it's my time to leave as well.
I have over strained my body by going past my limit of using the Sun Aura. My body felt heavier by the second and I fell on the ground, closing my eyes as I drift to an eternal slumber.
I can finally go in peace knowing that the princess is safe and Sir Sebastian is still alive.
