Episode 58
James drive on the highway speedily to the facility, one hand on the steering wheel the other hand on Flora's stomach applying pressure to it, he tried to make his hand steady on the wheel, as soon as he saw the building insight, he drove speedily towards it and honk vigorously to the gate man who was taking time in opening the gate, after the gate had being opened he drove into the garage that is filled with Black Suv Cars, he didn't think too much of it, he stopped the car and walked to the other side to carry Flora for immediate treatment, immediately he got inside the building, there is odd silent all over, he ignored it and placed her on the hospital bed then rushed to go look for any available doctor to treat her, when he couldn't see any he went to the biggest hall in the building, where they do keep the patients for the experiment, unexpectedly for him the door to it was opened, all the staffs including the soldiers are there. He got in and stopped on his track at the man who was in an all black suit and backing him, he faced him and said “Oh you are back!"
“Who are you? What are you doing here?“ He asked, frightened by the Man's strange aura and authority.
“Where is Flora?“ He asked instead
“She is dying, we need a doctor, she was shot!“ He lamented
“Lead the way!“ He ordered and he led the way to where Flora is, when they got there, Flora was hardly breathing.
“Oh, there you are looking vulnerable as ever, I could have killed you right now” he said pulling out his gun at her, and James tried to object but he was held down by the strange man bodyguards.
“But I won't, you could still be useful, but if you mess up again this time, you are a goner, six feet deep in the ground!“ He said
“Doctors you can now do your thing, and if by any mistake y'all lose her, your family will be replaced for her!“ He added and the doctors scurried to get her treated
“Who is he?“ James thought
“Adrian Lake” he said as if reading his thoughts
“And I owned this facility, and everyone in it, including you.“
“So I heard you and Flora conspired and lied to me that the patient will be awake 48 hours while she is already awake! Where is she? Oh, you lost her!“
“Flora is gonna pay for that!“ He added and James shuddered for the new secret that had been revealed to him. They weren't working for any government all this while, but Adrian, this is illegal!
He wonder if Flora knew about this and lied to him

Cassie dozed on and off as she sat on the chair in the ward room.
“You know you could use the comfort of your bed right now!“ Christy said and she quickly keep her eyes opened as if she wasn't dozing of seconds ago
“Nah I'm fine.“ She said and Ben sighed then walked up to her and in a second They were in front of Cassie's house, before she could say jack he is gone.
Cassie quickly stood up as she was in a sitting position as she was in the hospital now on the ground, she dust her butt and went inside her room using the window since the front door is locked.
She fell flat on her bed and drifted off to dreamland…
Few minutes into her sleep she felt a change of atmosphere, a familiar Cologne filled her nostrils and she struggled to open her heavy eyes.
“Brian?“ She called and he turned his back to face
“Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up,” he said.
“Nah, it's okay”
“So, he wasn't there, Dad is investigating on those who took him“
“I'm sorry I lost you at that, What are you talking about?“
“What, didn't you get my text yesternight?“
“You texted? Sorry I didn't see it”
“I called you a couple of times but you weren't picking up, so I sent you a text. I called again today and you weren't responding so I decided to come here and I found you sleeping, so I just concluded that you were tired.“
“Oh, I didn't see all the calls.“
“Speaking of that, where is your phone?“ He said and she stood up remembering she had a smartphone
“Every teens these days is always glued to their smartphone, except for you!“
“I think I kept it here…” she stressed pointing at her vanity, trying to remember where she had kept it or last seen it.
They spend the next few minutes racking her room looking for her cellphone, Brian decided to call the phone and it started ringing, they traced the ringing tone to the living room, they searched all the couches to find her phone buried in the couch.
“From now on, this should always be with you, got it?“
“Sure, captain!“ She salute and then they both chuckle
“First you need to charge the battery, it has rundown”
“Definitely” she said looking for the phone charger
“Now what were you saying?“ She added
“Things you told me about the Elvers and stuff, I asked my Dad and he said it was all true, so today we went to meet the other Elver that was locked up, but he wasn't there, apparently the third day after he was sent to the prison, someone else took him, trust me this is not the government!“ He narrated
“So Dad is investigating the person who did it, the organisation or whatsoever, we don't know who did it yet!“
“The people aren't the government, how?“
“Yes, they aren't, and also I don't think they are other Elvers like him!“
“If they aren't the government, then we really need to find out who did it!“ she said as she took the phone, she couldn't find the charger.
“5 percent could still make a call.“
“You are calling who? My Dad already told your Mum about it and she is working on the case.“
“You told your Dad about us!“
“About… well that was a s…!“
“I love you” Cassie blurted out and Brian lips stretched to a smile
“The feeling is mutual, Milady!“ He said curtly and they laughed, Cassie went to her call log to put a call across to a number she hesitated on which one to call.

Kyle sat on the couch as he stared at the face of sleeping Chloe on his shoulder. Sean sat as he watches Sarah sleeping on the bed, after he had told her what he feels she didn't respond or say anything, she ignored what he said before she slept off, and he just sat there staring at her sleeping figure, his phone rang and he took it out, checking the caller he left the room so as she won't be disrupted from her sleep by the annoying ringing tone of his phone, he went to the living room to find Chloe sleeping on Kyle's shoulder, “She is sleeping too?“ he thought
He swiped to the receiver side.
“Cassie!“ He called
“Sean, is Sarah there?“ She asked
“She is in her room, sleeping, any problem?“
“Nah, not at all, those who took Ben and Olivia? They aren't the government!“
“They aren't part of the government mission or body!“ She added
“They are an illegal Organisation?“ Sean asked registering what she was telling him
“Exactly!“
“So what are we going to do?“ he asked
“Getting them behind the bars!“
