“So we lost him!“ Cassie said frustrated.
“I don't understand?“ Decker said they are now in the car taking Olivia to the hospital, Kyle had taken Sean and Chloe home, and only the Elders are in the car except for Cassie who wouldn't go home, her mum begged her to go home and rest but she wouldn't listen, she can be stubborn sometimes.
“Before we got there, he had already killed the man, but he doesn't have his soul yet, we tried fighting him off, even though we know it's useless, I mean the man is already dead, and we can't save him anymore, but you know the soul, getting his hand laid on it, it won't be just him that is going to die, so we decided to fight him off, but Decker, he is damn strong, I mean really strong. Before he used to hold back in fighting me, but now it is as if he doesn't know who I was, like he doesn't know me from anywhere” she sighed
“The can be heartbreaking sometimes but then we still fight him, his poisons are stronger and the toxins are much, but we managed not to get poisoned by him, at last he took the soul and flee, Aunt Christy used her super speed to chase after him but he was nowhere to be found that was when we decided to look for him together and then We met with those psychopath.“ She narrated.
“Who are they, and what do they want?“ Sheriff Trina asked, she was the one driving, as soon as Cassie wanted to answer her, her phone rang.
“Sheriff Trina!“ She said to the caller
“Hello sheriff, this is the Mayor, I know you must have heard about the homicides that happened years ago, and in case you are wondering, yes! It was real, everything is true, but the person being captured and was framed as the killer, wasn't the killer at all, now we have a bigger problem, he is no longer in the prison he was being kept, don't ask me how I know, I will explain everything to you later, some files will be sent to you now, they are the guards that worked at the cell where he was locked up, I want you to look up on them, we need to find him, maybe he could also help in stopping the death toll in my City.“

“Dadddd! Common dad, that is not cool!“ She could hear Brian saying in the background, Decker who was sitting beside the sheriff could hear everything that was being said and he looked back at Cassie
“Is that Brian's voice I'm hearing?“
“Yes, he said you should say hi to Cassie, bye!“ Mayor Wilson said and hung up. Just then Sheriff Trina stopped the car at the hospital premises and both she and Decker stared back at Cassie, who stared back at them in confusion
“What?“ She asked awkwardly
“So when are you going to tell me you have a boyfriend?“ Her mum said
“Boyf… what?“ She exclaimed
“Huh huh.“ her mum said looking at her
“Sheriff Trina, you are here, let's take a look at the patient!“ Dr. Wanless said, jotting them out from their awkward state, and then the nurses took Olivia into the ward and rolled on a stretcher. Sheriff Trina and Decker followed them in. Christy walked slowly to Cassie
“Does Sarah have a boyfriend too?“ she said awkwardly, and Cassie cringed
“No, but you should watch out for her and Sean!“ She said with a sly smirk
“Did I just hear Sean, my boy is finally getting a girlfriend!“
“Should we be excited about that?“ Christy asked
“I don't know, I guess so, you know kids grow up so fast this days, if you're not excited about it, we might not be termed cool” Paul said
“What about my boy, you know Kyle is a hottie” Ben asked Cassie, she just wished she could disappear right now, having this kind of conversation with them is so…
“I don't know about him, he can be unpredictable!“
“Over here guys, Sheriff Trina called out to them, and they ran to meet up their pace.
“Did you hear what the Mayor said to me on the phone?“
“About the boyfriend thing? Yeah!“
“Nah, not that, the other!“
“Yes, I did, I think he is looking for Ben!“
“Yeah that is who they are looking for, but why is he looking for him?“
“Cassie, did you tell Brian about us?“ Trina asked her as soon as they met up their pace
“Yeess, just a little…“ She stressed her words.
“Then that explained it!“
“Explained what?“
“Never mind, we'll fill you in later, I need to leave now!“ Trina said and after exchanging some words with the doctor she and Decker left the hospital.

Chloe walked out of Sarah's room slowly “She doesn't want to speak with anyone” Chloe said
“Maybe I should try my luck, she should stop brooding already!“ Sean went up to her room to meet Sarah.
She lay in her bed on her tummy as she thought of random things, she groaned when the door of her room creaked open, they won't give up, will they? She just wants to be left alone for sometime.
“I told you to leave!“ She said
“You want me to leave too, that is harsh!“ Sean said and she sprang up.
“What are you doing here?“
“To relieve you of your brooding, I know you are having mood swings because of your mum's sudden arrival!“
“She is not my mum, she might be a clone of her or something, you know that woman is a lit Doctor!“ She said denying
“She is your mum, she used your power on me, if she was a clone, would they be able to clone her powers? And besides, she wouldn't have grown to that age!“ Sean said
“But she is not my mum, my biological mum is dead!“ Sarah shook her head
“I know it's hard for you to accept, truth be told, if I was in your position right now, I won't know how I would react too, just don't think about it too much, okay?“
“I won't, thanks Sean!“
“It's nothing, what are we friends for…?“ He said stressing the friends part and he sighed while Sarah went back to his previous position
