Chapter 25 DIVINE CONNECTION

Maria Luke, Tina's mom, went to his side and knelt before him to appreciate all that he had done for her daughter.
Prince, exhumed confidence, and composure, raised her mom to her feet and held her hands.
“Mama, you are now my mother. I lost my mom when I was eight years old. Years after, when I became a graduate, my dad died, but before he died, he told me a story about one of his dearest friends called Sunday Luke, who lived in Ajegunle.”
“What was your dad's name?” Maria demanded, with a furrowed face.”
“Prince Olamide Jacobs”. He declared proudly.
“Hahaha, he told me a lot about him. They were good friends before he travelled out of the country.” She retorted, her eyes brightened with joy, recalling all the wonderful stories spoken to her by her late husband.
Maria Luke never knew when she opened her arms wide, and Prince Pastor Josh embraced her.
A tinge of jealousy seared Tina's heart. A man who had refused to propose to me and speak with me is embracing my mom. How dare this arrogant man? She railed in her heart. Feeling they were taking their time to disengage, she cleared her throat without reason, just to separate the two who seemly were enjoying themselves.
Prince Josh quickly disengaged and gazed at her properly, her heart skipped several times. This is one man who takes her breath away.
“You are feeling jealous of our togetherness? I'm seeing in her a mother I didn't have. Can you please allow me to be her son?” He muttered with evident pain in his eyes. He must have been pained to have lost his mom at a very tender age.
“Emh, of course, yes.” Tina nodded calmly.
“Tina, you are my woman forever. You know that, don't you? Don't worry my love, I will soon fulfill your heart desires?” He uttered with a smirk on his hot, handsome face.
“But….”
“It's alright, I understand you. Come here and give me your hand.” Just as he asked for her hand, she moved over to release her hand. He took it, and the door creaked open.
“Haba, Pastor Josh, why now!” Sister Carine's friend stormed into the office.
“I'm here to inform you that you cannot marry Tina. It is not possible. You cannot delay my friend and push her away to get this Delilah.
“It seems you do not know that your dear friend is worse than a Delilah. Do you know that she's carrying Pastor Martin's child?”
“You are a liar, pathetic liar. Look for a more intelligent lie. Haha, I thought you were wiser than this, sir.” She snapped, rolling her eyes.
Gola came back to pick up his phone, which he had left in Prince Josh's office. He heard all that she wanted; he shook his head and chuckled aloud.
“Hey madam solicitor and advocate of Carine, you are either blind or dumb. Go and meet your friend and ask her if she has not been sleeping with me. Even after I had given my life to Christ, she came to my house about three months ago, to have me.”
“Hahaha! Fear God brother Gola.”
“Maybe it's you that should fear God. Please, leave this office right now!” Gola growled unwilling to tolerate her.
“Let her be. But go and confirm everything we've spoken to you, so as not to invoke the wrath of God.”
She kept mum and mumbled some incoherent words.
“Gola, is it true, she came recently to your house?” Tina asked him.
“You wouldn't believe it. That night was one of the greatest temptations of my life. It was past ten, and I was already fast asleep when I heard my phone beeping. I hissed and hissed, but when it kept on ringing, I rose with all reluctance to pick up.
It became Carine, so I went to open the door for her. She was a bit tipsy, so I allowed her in and laid her on my bed that night. I left my comfortable bed for her and moved to the living room to give her a little privacy.
I was enjoying my sleep when I saw someone touching me. I jumped up from the sofa and saw it was her. I removed her hand but she started to struggle with me. I had to resist her vehemently before she calmed down. I was so tempted that night to have her, but God helped me. I called pastor Josh and we started to pray until I was on fire.
That was how God gave me victory. Is that the person, Pastor Josh will marry? It's not possible. Pastor Martins toilet!” Gola explained.
She felt ashamed of herself and apologized to Pastor Josh, leaving almost immediately.
“Sister Tina, we will meet this weekend and have dinner together. We have a lot to do.” Pastor Josh informed her and patted her on the back. She smirked and flashed her teeth.
Huuu! I believe that she is happy now!
