Pastor Josh smiled gazing at Tina, his eyes had changed from the fiery preacher to that of a lover. Tina could only opened wide her mouth, her heart skipped several times. She wasn't expecting this. Some boys came over to off the bright lights in the living room, and display candle lights all over with soft music, playing, Timi Dakolo's song, “Iyawo mi Ololufe mi Ore mi Alayo mi I will love you forever Iyawo mi Ololufe mi Ore mi Alayo mi” (My wife, my friend, my joy, I will love you forever.) The whole atmosphere was completely transformed, love hung in the air, hovering over the whole living room. And then, Pastor Prince Josh, knelt before Tina, and Tina moaned in great pleasure and utter delight, fully knowing what he was about to say, she cover up her lips in anticipation, lest she screamed out. In deep, rich voice, laden with emotion for the woman that turns him on, the one that will be the mother of his children, the one who makes his heart beat, he muttered, in an unusual manner, “Are you ready to be the one and only woman in my life, to be loved, and to behold? Are you willing to be the only helper at home, standing by this soldier of the cross? Will you be my wife and mother my children?” By the time Tina looked around, she saw some of the brothers and sisters cheering her up to say, Yes! That heightened her joy, when she saw sisters Happy, Beatrice among them, tears of joy flowed freely from her eyes, while Pastor was still on her knees. Then a voice broke through and shouted, No o, o oh! You can't marry her. She is mine! She is my wife! And everyone turned to see Gola, weeping profusely. Everyone became confused, apart from Pastor Josh who rose up and went to embrace Gola. In his wisdom he calmed him down and asked the question, “Do you want me to stop this and give you a chance to marry Tina?” It was Gola's turn to be shocked. He looked at Pastor Josh whom he had come to love, and yelled, “Not on your life! I'm here to inform you about the woman I believe God has given me. He gave me a ‘No’, for an answer and that was why I rushed over here to inform you, not knowing that you were doing another thing. “Tell me the truth, who were you talking to?” “To no one in particular, I was just angry with who now? Why did she reject me?” Gola demanded as if he knew the reason. “Can we talk about it some other time? I'm sure God has someone better for you. Moreover, you need to be more grounded in the scripture to be a better leader at home. Marriage is a wholesome responsibility and not a child's play. Many lives have been ruined, their ministries destroyed for marrying the wrong woman. It's better to endure a broken relationship, than a broken marriage. It's more disheartening. This may be a blessing in disguise, I tell you this. Your real wife may be very close to you, but you will be looking the other way, where God did not send you. Cheer up bro, God has something better in store for you. Haha, don't allow the sisters to mock my big handsome guy. You too fine, shey you know. Some of the sisters are dying to have you now. Let her go away, you don't need her.” Pastor Josh encouraged him, patting him at the back. He breathed a sigh of relief and became calm. “Brother Gola, you need to grow up, you've just disrupted a very wonderful proposal now. Apologize to us, and we will talk about yours later.” Sister Beatrice rebuked him firmly and everyone screamed for joy. “Don't mind the big baby brother, we the Senior bachelor brothers, are still waiting on God to favour us, and you are rushing. Oga, take things easy. He that finds a wife, finds a good thing, and obtains favour from God. My brother, you need to pray more if you want a GOOD thing, a GOOD wife like our beloved Pastor Josh. He thought sister Carine was the GOOD thing, but he was wrong, time exposed her bad character. Thank God for our Queen Esther, who is called, sister Tina. She is the favoured one. God will favour you my bros, don't rush.” Brother Elijah admonished and everyone screamed for joy. “Good one, brother Elijah, this is a rhema for me. I thought a particular sister here was for me, I even threatened her to marry me. How wrong I was. Hmmm, thank you Jesus. We are learning.” Brother James confessed. “Even me oh!” Bro Michael cried out to confess too. Everyone clapped their hands. “Today is the day of confession. Kai, this proposal is very unique. I'm blessed already.” Brother Sunday acknowledged. Pastor Josh gazed into Tina's eyes and smirked. Tina got the message immediately, he had proposed and she was the one to give the response. “Tina started shouting, “It's a Yes, Yes, and another Yessss!” Everyone clapped and celebrated. Drinks were served, music was on and there was celebration. It was a night of victory. But someone was not happy at all. Who was that one? Why was she said? Find out in the next episode.
