“Impossible? Haha, I am getting confused. Why don't you want me to know and appreciate the man? Is it that I am too poor for me to introduce to him? You are ashamed of me? I understand you. Don't worry again.” Tina's mom left the table quietly and started to sob.
Later, she went inside to pick up her small go. But Tina wouldn't want it. She knelt before her and apologized.
“It's not that you are not qualified to see him but something just happened. He went and told the whole Church that we would be wedding this December without proposing to me. 
Isn't he taking me for granted? I appreciate him as my spiritual dad, but marriage is quite different. It involves two mature people. He should have communicated his mind and sought my consent. Is it good like that?”
“Okay, I understand you now. My daughter, this man has his reason, very strong reason. Don't be annoyed but be patient. I believe that you will both talk about it maturely.”
“Okay, ma'am. Another thing is that I have been expecting him to call or come. He has not done either since yesterday. Honestly, I am not happy about it.”
“Do you love this man? Tell me the truth, my daughter.”
Tina turned away from her and leaned on the wall, without saying a word. She was deeply touched. 
Her love for the man is daily increasing. His thoughts occupied her mind and imagination. She has not been her real self for a long while. But she needed him to propose.
“Maami, let him make me a woman by proposing. I want him to be romantic. He is too spiritual for my liking. Mamaaa, I love him so so very much.” Tina sobbed.
While sobbing, there was a knock at the door. Tina hastily cleaned up her face and rushed to open the door. It was Gola and brother Michael, brother James and Bro Thomas.
“Oh oh, please welcome to my house.” She greeted them as she led them in.
“Mama, these are my brethren from Church.”
“You are welcome, my children.”
“Mama, we came to greet you. Our pastor sent us to welcome you and to also bring you to his office in Surulere. We came to pick you up with his official car.”
“Hahahaha, Gola! Olofofo! (Gossip) I know that you are the one who told Pastor Josh about Mom. You have to be very careful. Who sent you?”
Gola chuckled aloud expressing deep joy for exposing her friend and sister Tina.
“Lady T for Tina. The Iron Lady herself. I'm the only one who can do that. I have told him everything that I know. So get ready for us to go.” Turning to Tina's mom, “Emh, mama, hope you have eaten. Anyway, let's be on our way.”
Maria Luke, Tina's mother, was able to munch her delish meal, and afterwards, they all left for Pastor Josh's office without Tina. She blatantly refused to follow them.
On reaching his office, they met one of his clients, so they waited at the secretary's office. Maria Luke couldn't believe that her daughter would be marrying such a rich man, a multi-millionaire
God is to be fared. I have been worried stiffly about my daughter all these years, but I never knew that God was in charge of her life. She is not just an accountant now but will be married to a very wealthy man.
 I thought that he was just an ordinary pastor, not knowing that he was a big man. Hey, God is great. Me? The mother of a graduate. Hmmm, God has not forgotten me. Ha, I will serve this God very well.
Soon, they were ushered into his big, palatial office. He sat down calmly while they entered, Gola and Maria Luke putting on one of Tina's clothes.
Pastor Josh stood up and stretched out his hand to welcome her into his office. She shook him also, and he motioned for her to sit.
“Welcome to my office ma.” He welcomed her with a smirk on his face, as he sat down.
“Wow, you are very handsome. Lady T never told me how handsome you were. She only told me that ehm, she loves you so much, but…”
Tina just walked into his office wearing a forlorn look, before the mom could complete her statement.
“Hahaha, maami, why now?”
Gola doubled up in laughter, while Prince Josh sat quietly as if he never heard her.
“Stop this now, Lady T, this stubborn streak of you is from your father. Such a gentle pastor like this!”
“Gentle, you say?” Tina responded. I know he's a gentleman, but he is damn too proud. How can he take me for granted?” Tina snapped.
Wow, all Tina wanted was a proper proposal to make her feel like a woman! Is it too much to ask for?
Well, it seems he is not as romantic as she wants. Maybe she is too impatient like most ladies are.
