It's been two weeks where Nathan and I really just spent time together. We danced, sang, baked, cooked and everything. Now it's time to fly to the Maldives. "Babe?! Are you ready?" my friend asked me and I grinned. I can't believe it, we've been almost two weeks without Kaitlin. It's kind of weird, like it's a dream. I kinda don't believe it, kinda got the feeling she's planning something to try and break us up again. Or am I just overthinking this.
"Yes, Nathan, I am," I replied with a smile and walked downstairs with my suitcase. I was wearing a pair of very light Liliane jogging pants and a white top that was so slightly cropped. I was wearing Nathan's sweatshirt over that and my hair was in a bun. I had no make-up and was a bit tired, so that you could possibly see my dark circles. At the bottom, Nathan took my suitcase and brought it to the taxi. Meanwhile, I said goodbye to my parents. "Take care of yourselves, but don't mess up!" my father admonished me and I nodded with a smile. "Call us immediately if anything happens," added my mum.
Both of them were very caring, reminding Nathan and I not to hang out with friends, people, and so on. It was like every time we went anywhere. They were just very worried about us and afraid that something would happen to both of us. "Mum, Dad, we have to go or we'll be late," I explained to them both and we hugged them again to say goodbye. After that we got into a taxi and drove to the airport. I was very happy that we will have some time for ourselves where nobody can disturb us, not even Kaitlin.
"Baby?" I got his attention and he smiled at me. I looked into his eyes and he ok my how much I love his eyes. I could get lost in those eyes over and over again, I just love those eyes. "Babe what's up?" he asked me and I shook my head quickly, trying to figure out what to ask. I had forgotten what I wanted to say or rather ask. "I forgot sorry babe," I mumbled, looking at him sadly. It probably wasn't anything important, otherwise I wouldn't forget it and ask him.
"We're here," said the taxi driver and we got out. I got our bags out and Nathan paid in advance. Even though I was against him paying, he didn't give up and I didn't want to argue with him. "How much did it cost?" I asked him and we checked in our bags. "Not much," he just answered and I gave him a warning look. "35€", he said short and sweet and I sighed. "I want to drink bubble tea," I explained to him and Nathan understood why. "No!" Was all he said and I rolled my eyes. "Yes, and now come on! I don't want to argue with you!"
And so I said the last word and we made our way to the store. When we got there we both ordered drinks and I paid. "Why did you pay now?" he asked me slightly angry. "Because you paid for the cab ride," I replied angrily, too, and he started to grin. "I love your angry side," he said with a grin, pulling me towards him and placing his lips on mine. As we parted we smiled at each other. "Nathan, let's continue, otherwise we'll be late," I said the most inappropriate and laughed softly.
"You really are a witch," he replied, rolling his eyes. "I'm serious babe," I whispered and he took my hand and pulled me to our seat. Once there we sat down and Nathan wrapped his arm around me so that my head was on his chest. I sipped on my bubble tea and Nathan stroked my hair. He had already finished his drink. "Babe?" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up at him. "Yes babe?" I was curious what he wanted to say.
"I love you," he blurted out, and he put a smile on my face. "I love you too" I replied smiling and he kissed my forehead in response. I really love this boy and the thing I least want is to lose him and live without him one day. "Nathan please don't leave me," I mumbled, tears welling up in my eyes. "I'm not going to be little, never," he answered simply, wiping away my tears with his thumbs. He then hugged me tightly and kissed my hairline. "Flight to Maldives is 15 minutes late", we got an announcement and I rolled my eyes.
"Are they kidding me?!", I asked him annoyed and Nathan laughed softly. "Oh I love you if you're so annoyed," he replied with a smile and I immediately looked up at him. "Oh, otherwise you don't love me?!" I asked him angrily and he looked at me confused. "I never said that," he protested, and I got even more angry. "I quote: I love you when you're so annoyed!" I mocked him and he started to smile. "You know I love you always," he explained, pinching my cheek. "Ouch Nathan man!" I yelled at him and complained.
"Sorry babe," he said, laughing softly. "Nothing sorry Morry you dog!" I said angrily and his grin got even bigger. "Come on, we can go in," he ended the topic with a grin. Maybe the topic is over for him, but not for me. That will have an aftermath, he must think he only loves me when I'm annoyed. We got on the plane and sat down. I sat by the window and he sat down next to me. Since it was already 8 p.m. I was looking forward to taking nice pictures and videos.
If we were to fly at night it would be better, but we can't change anything now. A girl sat down next to Nathan, who gave me an arrogant look at first glance. I rolled my eyes annoyed and turned to the window and looked out since I had nothing better to do anyway. He held my hand and watched me. "Nathan stop watching me like that," I said without looking at him. "How-" he started to talk, but the girl sitting next to him cut him off. "Let her cuter, you can watch me," she flirted with him and finally winked at him.
"Let her cuter, you can watch me!" I mimicked her quietly but angrily. Only Nathan heard me and that's why he looked at me with a smile. "Don't look like that Nathan," I replied, still angry. Why is she flirting with him?! With what right?! "Are you jealous?" he asked me with a grin and pulled me to him. "Nathan stop it," I mumbled, but his grin didn't fade. He pulled me onto his lap and kissed me long and hard. A thousand different feelings were in that kiss.
As we broke up he whispered in my ear "you're the only one for me don't be jealous babe" I buried my head in the crook of his neck and he did the same. And in this position we stayed almost the whole time and I fell asleep peacefully.
