"How was work today, hope it wasn't stressful?".
"It wasn't stressful, but get me a cup of chilled water, my throat is dried up already". Esther Saud as she sat down taking off David's school uniform, leaving on him his singlet bad boxer.
Sheila went on to bring a cup along with a chilled bottle of water. She opened the bottled water and served Esther who took a swig immediately.
"It's fine by tomorrow, I should go and visit the seamstress who is sewing the wedding dress to see where she is in the sewing".
"I didn't ask him anything about his plan and preparations for the wedding, but it's obvious he took me down to the house we'll be living after the wedding, my sister it was a paradise, heaven on earth".
"You don't mean it".
"That guy gets money, I mean to cash in hand and even in the bank".
"That's good it's what we want, isn't it?".
"Yes, it is".
"Just play on, or do you want to quit the game"
"Not at this point, the game is just starting"
"Good to hear, I trust you".

At the dining table, Philip announced to his mother and his sister about his decision in the company.
"Mum, I have an announcement to make".
"Okay go on"
"I won't like to relieve Bertie of her job and fix Sandra as the secretary".
"And why or are you already having an affair with her??".
"Noo, Bertie had been working for the company for many years and we cannot just wake up one morning and sack her. That's isn't good enough to compensate her for her good deeds or mum haven't you thought of this?".
"E-r-r, yes I have thought of it so many times before t what always stops my decision is that your father gave me the order not to do it".
"But at least father is no more and we that are very much alive ate meant amend every wrong orders".
"Hmm, so what's your decision," Shannon said looking straight into Philip's eyes.
"This is my decision, Sandra should become the assistant CEO of the company while Bertie still retains her position in the company and if possible I can increase her salary. How about Mum?".
"It's okay, but that issue of increasing one salary should still be written off for now, okay?".
"Yes mummy, that's why I love you".
"Same here, hope you've heard all that your brother had said".
" Yes Mummy".
"Are you satisfied with that?".
" Am okay with that, but what will be the work of the CEO?".
"Good you asked. Let me then explain to you that as an assistant CEO you'll always stand-in for CEO if not in their sin. For example, if in preparation for my wedding m, you'll be the one in charge as I go out of the state to make things straight and in good shape before the wedding, am I understood?".
" Clearly".
"Very good, so you'll start tomorrow is that okay?".
" Yes, brother".
"They both smiled at one another including Shannon. Philip was happy that his mother could listen to him.
" Bertie had been trying Phillip's phone but he wasn't picking up his calls. Philip came to his room about to sleep when his phone rang again. He stood up to pick up the call.
"Hello, Bertie what's your problem, they are disturbing me at this hour of the day?".
" I need you, baby".
"I am not your baby, and why do you need me at this odd hour?".
" I want you to come and pick me up for a night party".
"A night party? No, no I can't do that and perhaps am getting married soonest is I have stopped all that lifestyle, and mind you don't disturb me again".
Philip cut the phone and switched it off, dropping it on the bedside table beside the clock radio. He slept on his bed covering himself with a thick blanket. He began to think of how the wedding day was going to be, he had always wished his wedding day should be one of its kind. As he had the plan of inviting a lot of popular musicians to come and perform at his wedding ceremony. He thought of the children he will raise together with Sheila. He thought of the luxurious life he would be living with his wife to be when they both finally become one in their paradise.

He soon fell asleep thinking of all this...
Do you think Philip isn't having a tough time these days? What do you think he should do at this stage he finds himself. I don't think he does know where the problem is coming from. Yes, he was the only person who could direct the company, but then it seems his life is imbalanced which I think will affect the company isn't it??.
