While she laid down on the ground and bathe with her own blood, she uttered some words that for her it is impossible to have. She wanted to be with her family again, in the arms of Damian, her husband and her only son Xian. She imagined that those image was true like she reset the time, the time before they (co - terrorist from the past) found her and before the time she regretted everything that happen. She wanted to be like that again, quietly living in a small house and enjoyed everyday of their lives together and happy.
On her imagination, she was sleeping on Damian's lap with her son when she suddenly heard some voices
"Angela, please wake up" a cracked voice of a man crying "Please, wake up Angela" he continued
She looked around, "Who are you? and why are you calling me Angela?" she asked, then she looked around Damian and Xian was vanished little by little. She ran towards them, "Wait don't leave me!" she trying to reach their hands but the two important people in her life totally left her and everything got dark. She was very depressed but still she can hear someone calling her name and now she can also heard a child crying so loud;
"Mama!" the child still crying louder from time to time
She tried to open her eyes, then she saw that she was in the hospital bed and many hospital apparatus around her, "Why I am here?" she asked very weak
Damian sighed with relief, "Oh my God, I am happy that you are awake now" then he cried so much
She tried to look to her husband and trying to reach his hand, "Is this true? Or still my imagination?" she asked again in her weak voice
He shook his head, "No, my love" he held her hands so tight "We are alive, we are looking for you for so long but we are failed to find you" he explained with his sobs
She remembered everything, the day when their house is on fire and she cannot find them inside "But, I thought you are ..." she suddenly cried
But Damian told her to stop because she was not fully recovered from the incident, "Please rest for now, I will tell you everything once you are alright, for now the important is you are alive" he said while caressing her hair then she go back to sleep
From that time, it was a mystery for her what happen since that day and why her husband didn't call her when they are alive or no one told her that they are still alive. Because she received five stabs on her back, she undergo a critical surgery and also she had twenty stitches in every wound she had. Angela was confined to the hospital for almost three months and after that she undergo some check ups to check if her wounds was healed already or she needs to stay for more weeks in the hospital. After some laboratory check ups, she was cleared and fit for discharge so the next day she was released from the hospital and went to their new home. It was like a dream for her, she mourned for months and took a revenge knowing that her family was burned alive that day.
She looked around and can't believed in the things she experienced at the moment, "Damian, am I dreaming?" she asked astonished
He laughed at her, "What are you saying, this is not a dream" he answered then she approached her and assisted her to sit down "maybe you are tired, I'll cook something to eat" he said then he put Xian to his crib
She just looked to her son, "Can I carry Xian?" she asked because she missed her only son so much, she walked towards his crib and looked at him
He turned his gazed to them, "Yes, of course but be sure that you can carry him because gained weight when the time we are looking for you" he answered
She remembered that thing, "But Damian, why didn't you reached me or call me that time? I thought you are both dead that night" she started to cry
He stopped stirring the food he was cooking, "We thought that night that you was killed" he said "that day, we received a note that you are abducted and will executed that day but I always knew that you are still alive so that we tried to find you" he explained while he reminisce that day "we try every means so that we can find you, and if you are really dead, I want to see your body but we can't find any trace about you" he added. When he saw the dish was nearly to cook he stirs it again.
She was saddened about that then she remembered Dreos, "Someone helped me when I was unconscious, the last time I remembered I was inside our house and that was burning that time then when I woke up, I was with Dreos" she said
He was very shocked when he heard Dreos, "You know him?" he asked
She nodded, "Yes, he is the one who helped me before I met my comrades in the group" she said thinking about everything and what is the connection to Dreos to the everything happened for the past few months.
She wanted to find the answer, so that she went to the place where she met Dreos but the caretaker told her that she didn't know who was Dreos or even the day she stayed there with him. She also checked some police records with the help of her husband but she didn't find anything about the man. She searched him if she have a time or she needs to bring Xian at the park while her husband became a clerk in the police office. One day, her search was over, Dreos was the one who approached her, he was on his black hood jacket and sat beside her;
"Are you still looking at me?" he asked
Angela was surprised, "May I know who are you?" she asked calmly
The man looked at her in her eyes, "I am the one who saved you" he said
She was very happy when he saw him, "I looked for you so long" she said
"Why?" he asked
"I want to ask what happen since the day you rescued me in my house until the time I woke up in the hospital" she answered
He smiled at her, "I just granted your wishes" he answered
She was surprised, "You just granted my wishes?" she asked
He looked away, "You wanted to be with your family safe, you wanted to revenge them who killed by them and you wanted to be with your family again so I did it" he said
She was very surprised when he said earlier because all her wishes was stated, "How did you know all about that?" he said
"Because I am a god" he said "I made those wishes because I want you to be part of my survival game but not as a participant but as my right hand" he said
"What game?" she asked
He stood up, "You will not know about the game, the only thing that you will do is check them and be with me every meeting but you will never expose yourself as my right hand but a participant of the game" he said then he walked away
She was very confused about it but she have no choice, she needs to agreed with it because he made all her desires came true. Even she didn't know what to do about it, she just follow him.
Since that day, she received different information of every players in the survival game. It includes their addresses so that she can check them some time, the school address for the students and also their business if they have businesses. When she checked the papers, she saw her profile and it includes the word "IN CONFIDENTIAL" it means she was not part of the game but also the eye of the game. Sometimes, Dreos called her if there was anomaly in the game or to the participants. She was very shocked when Dreos sent her some video tapes of the battles, Third versus First and Second, First and Second versus Seventh, the death of Fourth and the battle between Eleventh and Second, as she watched the video she can't take it and the only reason why they kill each other is they wanted to grant their selfish wish as a reward.
The next day, she trying to find Dreos to quit her job to him because she can't accept that, then she met him in the park again;
"I want to quit" she said
He smiled to her, "Are you sure? If you will quit now, you can't see your family again" he said "I can reset the time and killed all of you and also I can make more miserable than ever" he chuckles
She was frightened to his answer, she was thinking if she will turn her down his request and in return everything will be as it was. Her tears drips on her lap, "But what was your reason why you set this game like this?" she asked
"Because there will be one person who worth to make her/his wish come true" he said
She looked at him, "But why did you granted my wish of that will be the rules?" she asked
He stood up, "Because I know you can help me to watched them since you are a former terrorist, not just a normal terrorist but a notorious terrorist so I know you can be my eye when I am busy" he said then he walked away again without any word.
She was crying about it, she can do everything that she can to have her family again. She went home and prepare for their food but her heart was filled with sadness because she wanted to forget about Lilith but someone took advantage about it. It seemed that she was not aware on what she was doing or even in her surroundings;
Damian approached her, "Angela, are you alright?" he asked her while he was carrying Xian
She was shocked, "I'm sorry honey" then she saw Xian sobbing, she immediately get it from his arms "I'm sorry my baby" she swayed him on her arms
He touched her forehead, "Are you okay?" he asked
She nodded, "Yes, I'm fine" she tried to smile
"Honey I saw some video tapes in the cabinet, is that your?" he asked while helping her to prepare their dinner
She was very nervous about it, "Did you watched it?" she asked
He placed the plates on the table with the spoon and fork, "Yes, I tried to" he said
She tried to calm down, "What did you saw?" she asked
He get Xian to her arms to prepare the food, "Those tapes are blank, I only saw black and it has no video files inside" he said
She sighed a relief when she heard it, "Someone send it to me, maybe someone was playing jokes with me" she tried to smile. She get a bowl to put rice and their dish on it
"I think you need to be careful about that" he said then he put Xian to his high chair
She just nodded, "Yes, I will" she smiled again "Let's eat, I know you are tired" she added
They were eating silently but she was still confused about it, she just looking to him "Why he didn't see the videos in that tape?" she asked "Or maybe I am the only one who can see it" she asked on her mind
He looked at her, "Honey, are you alright?" he asked "If you wanted to talk on something, I will listen" he added
"No, I'm just fine" she said "Maybe I'm tired in the household chores" she added
Her husband didn't said any word, after they eat he helped her to clean up and then they rested.
