In the event that Yuri and Gino organized, everybody who was invited was very happy. They held some raffle draws, intellectual games and a game to measure how they knew each other. After that they play some romantic music that made the ambiance more sweeter;
Penelope was looking to Sebastian's eyes while they are dancing with the other couples, "I love you Sebastian" she said sweetly that made him blushed
He just smile as his answer but as he looked to her, he was stunned to her beauty. They keep on swaying until they heard an explosion on the rooftop that made everyone frightened, and some trembles
Gino grabbed the microphone, "Everyone, please calm down" he said "just walk towards the exit door" he added then Yuri pretended to be sick that made Penelope worried about her
"Are you alright Madame?" she asked while holding her hand then she remembered Sebastian was alone "Sebastian, where are you?" she was very worried
Because of the thickness of the dust in the air she can't see him then she heard Gino's voice, "Penelope, I am with Mr. Yui" Sebastian answered
They didn't expect the things will happen when everyone went outside, a blade was pointing on Sebastian's neck "Don't move" Gino said, he made Sebastian as his hostage
While Penelope's hands gripped so hard by Yuri, "What is the meaning of this?" she asked while enduring the pain
"We need your life" Gino answered "For her" he added
Sebastian stunned for a moment and looked at him, "Don't tell me" he asked while he was looking on Gino's face
"Sebastian!" Penelope cried, then she screamed so loud because Yuri was trying to twist her arms backwards
He move his feet little by little so that he can attack him even a little, "Don't worry about me, I'm fine" he trying to focus on how he save himself from the knife pointe to his throat.
When the debris was gone to the air, they can already see each other, they are both victims of the desperate couples.
Penelope trying to calm down, "I know you know the rules of this game" she said
"We know, so that we requested in everyone who was invited to bring a thing that was very important to them because we know that you will bring those with you" Gino said pertaining to the sketchpads, "shall we begin?" he asked crazily
Yuri released Penelope's hand from her grip, "The rules of this was very simple, we need to throw those knife in our turn" she was pointing the knife on the table place opposite to each other "You just need to dodge every knife but when it hit you, the more know pricked on you will lose" she added
Sebastian was very nervous because he can't dance and another thing he can't saw Penelope will cover him, "We will just dance as couple and we will throw the knives when it was anyone's turn, right?" he asked
"Yes, that's right" Gino answered "Let's start?" he asked then he turn on the CD player.
They both started to dance but Penelope was still in pain because Yuri twisted her arms so hard earlier, "Are you okay?" Sebastian whispered in her ear
"I'm fine" she answered then she saw a knife will hit him so she turned him around "that was close" she sighed
He was very shocked when he saw was hit the wall, "Thank you" he said
She looked at them, "They are very desperate to win this battle" she said
Now, it's Sebastian's turn to throw a knife and luckily he hit Gino's leg.
The crazy couple dance that aims for the death of the lousy couple and the win for the strongest couple. Every time it was Gino's turn to throw a knife, his target was always Penelope and it always hit her while Sebastian didn't hit any of the knives thrown from the start because Penelope always cover him. In the other hand, Yuri was fine and Gino was the one who covered her. When he saw Penelope was wounded, a little anger was stir inside Gino, "Are you coward, First? You call yourself a man but you can't protect your woman?" he mocked him
Even Sebastian was hurt to his words, he can't do anything because Penelope always covers him
Penelope held his collar very tight, "Don't listen to him, you are not coward" she still enduring the pain from her wounds "I'm still fine" she added
"But ..." he was very worried when he saw her leg bleeding
Gino was still mocking him because he was the one who protected by a lady, "A real man always protected her lady even his life will be at his stake" he added
When Sebastian looked at him, he can see that he was in pain while Yuri was very fine. When he realized what Gino was trying to tell him, he suddenly cried "I'm sorry Penelope if I'm coward, weak and worthless" he said "a man like me is worthy to die and not loved by a lady like you" his tears was dripping on Penelope's arms that makes her heart felt warm.
She embraced him, "It's fine with me, don't worry about me" the she was surprised when Sebastian carried her "Hey, wait a minute what are you doing?" she just put her arms around him
He smiled at her, "This moment I'll protect you, I'll be your shield" he said
"but, they will hurt you" she answered worriedly
He shook his head, "I'll be fine, you'll be the attacker now" he said
"What? but I don't know how to throw a knife" she answered then she closed her eyes because of her wounds
"I know you can, let's start?" he said then they threw knives one after another and unexpectedly Penelope threw two knives that hit Yuri's arms and the another one was in Gino's arms.
Gino got very angry when Yuri suddenly fell down and in pain because of the part hit, "Why did you hit her?" he asked, he looked at Yuri "Are you alright?" he asked worriedly
"Yes, I'm alright" she answered her
"I'm sorry, I didn't saw it" he apologized
She trying to stood up but she can't anymore, "What happen?" Gino asked her
"I'm alright" she fell down again that made Sebastian and Penelope worried
Gino worried so much so he check her legs under her skirt and he was shocked when he saw some wounds, "How? What did you do?" he cried bitterly
Yuri touched his face, "You still remember every time I raised my leg" she coughed "I am protecting you from those knives, Sebastian was good at dart game so he threw the knives very well" she said
He cried so much, "But, I am the one needs to protect you" he said
Yuri was continuing to bleed because of so much open wounds every time she covers Gino and the most shocking thing that he discovered, there are two knives nailed on her back, "Yuri, I always protect you but why did you do this" he embraced her
"Because I wanted to protect you" she said weakly, she looked in his eyes "All this time you always protect me, since the day I met you" she smiled when she remembered the day he saved her to some family goons.
Sebastian looking his phone to call for help but his phone can't reach any number or person on his contacts, "Please, answer" he said
Penelope was trying to apply first aid to lessen the bleeding, "Please hold on Miss Yuri" she was crying too
At that time, Gino realized how dumb was he just looking in the perspective that he was the one who protected her but in the end she was the one who protected him. He cried bitterly, "I'm sorry Yuri" he said
Yuri looked at them, "Sebastian you have such a beautiful lady at your side, protect her at any cost" she said weakly "Penelope, you love him so much, right? Be at his side, okay?" she said then she died
Gino mourned at that time, he keeps on blaming himself on what happened to Yuri. He stood up and get their sketchpads, "You can have it" he handed it to them "My life is worthless if Yuri was not with me, it's better to die with her and we will meet again in the next life" he said crying
Even it was against his will, he understand his feeling "Thank you for this wonderful event Mr. Yui I am hoping that in the next life we can be friends" he smiled then he ripped it with the pen of his sketchpad
Everything was became normal after that, the police responded and some medics treat Penelope's wounds. Sebastian that time felt devastated because he was totally fine but Penelope on the other hand was many bandages, he didn't recognized Penelope immediately;
"Are you fine?" she asked
He just looked at her and hugged her so tight, "I'm sorry, I'm very sorry Penelope" he cried so much "I promise, I'll protect you always, I don't want to hurt you anymore" he said. At that time he was like a baby crying;
She caressed his hair, "Don't worry Sebastian, we will protect each other from this day" she said
--Gino and Yuri Yui's Life--
Gino was came from a middle - class Chinese family, since they are in middle - class no one asked their family to marry a rich one. His hobby was going to a nearby garden to see different kinds of flowers and imagining that his forever partner was in the front, proposing like a crazy man then he was very embarrassed when a lady was in front of him for real.

He nodded, "Yes, you are the third richest family in the Chinese community" he answered
She came near to him, "Gino, right?" she thinking about something "Can I be like you?" she asked out of nowhere
"But Miss Hao, I'll be punished if I will do that?" he said
She looked around to find a bench, "If you mind, can we sat down there?" she asked pointing to the bench she saw
He just followed her and sat down with her, "Its a shame for a lady to ask a guy to sit beside her, right?" he said
She looked up the sky, "I want to be freed from the tradition we have now, I want to be free like the clouds up there" she pointing the clouds in a good view "I want to marry someone I like and I love" she said
From that day, they became good friends and from their close friendship love blooms between them. Gino was rejected by the Hao's family because he was came from a middle - class Chinese family but even though he was rejected, Yuri keep on loving him and they have each other for better or for worse. Until one day, Yuri came to Gino's place crying;

At first, Gino wanted to give up her but Yuri didn't agreed to it because he was the first guy love her not because of her wealth.
They stayed to their relationship even there are many hindrances and they suffered so much because of their persistence. Yuri' parents knew about their plan so they called Ryo to rape her so that Gino will despised her in all his life but the opposite one was happened, Gino took their lives because of what they did to Yuri.
