In a dark room, voices was whispered in her head, she was trying to overcame it because she loves her family so much. Penelope and her twin sister Sophia were continuously abused by their parents. There were times that they are starving to death but Penelope did what she can do for her beloved twin sister. Their mother seemed to be in sanity but when her illness triggered, she always hit her daughters until they collapsed. Their parents didn't allow them to go outside everyday or as they wish, and if they they break the rule they will be punished. In their early age, they have bruises and they experienced to be half dead specially Sophia. In the two of them, Sophia was a weakling, she always got sick and sometimes they delivered her in the hospital. Even the evidences was firm that she was abused by them, she didn't want it to report to the police because their father always told them to understand the situation of their mother's illness.
When Sophia was discharged, Penelope decided that she will sleep to her room to protect her to their abusive parents.
Sophia was coughing, "Penelope, do you think everything will be alright?" she asked while laying in her bed
Penelope tried to smile because she was beat again in behalf of her twin sister, "Don't worry Sophie, everything will be fine just trust me" she said then she sat down next to her
She noticed the new wounds and bruises, "Penelope, are you alright?" she asked, she wanted to go off in the bed
Penelope stopped her, "Don't worry, I am fine Sophie" she said "for me you are the most important thing I have in this life" she hugged her sister
She suddenly cried, "I am sorry, if you are always beaten behalf of me" she said "I'm sorry, if I am not like you" he added
Penelope caresses her hair, "Did you know why twins are always look alike?" she asked her
"No" she shook her head, "Maybe because they can share everything?" she said
She held her on shoulders and get off from her embrace, "That is one of the reasons but the correct answer is, one will be the strength to protect the another one and the another one will be the source of the strength" she said smiling "And you are my strength to protect you and I am your strength to fight for us" she added
Their mother always hit them when their father was not around and when he came home he just ignored his beaten daughters.
Sophie and Penelope stood in front of him, "Welcome home Dad" they greeted him weakly
He just looked at them, "Fix yourselves we will eat dinner" he just passed them by
Sophie started to cry not only because their father ignored them but also Penelope received most of the beating.
Penelope saw her crying, she just held her hands "Don't worry, I'm fine" she said "Let's eat more rice to bring back our strength" she nodded
She wiped her tears, "Are you sure, you are alright?" she asked her with sob
She nodded, "Do you remember what I said to you about twins?" she asked
Sophie nodded.
She pat her head, "Just be my strength and I will protect you forever" she said. They walked towards to their room to change clothes and clean their wounds before dinner. The twins was very happy when they are together, they always endure everything but one day everything has changed like Penelope's world crushed into pieces. She came home immediately when her class was over to surprise Sophie;
She go to their room to present the garland she made of their favorite flowers, "Sophie look, I made this to you" she was very happy sat down next to Sophie who quietly lying on the bed. She noticed that Sophie didn't wake up and she didn't move either that made her nervous, "Sophia, Sophia!" she can't believe it she has no pulse "Hey Sophia, wake up I know you are joking, right!?" she keep on shaking her sister. She ran outside to ask help but no one helped her because of their family background so she ran to the nearest hospital she knew to ask help. The ambulance respond immediately, at that moment their mother was sleeping in her room and didn't hear anything. The nurses responded checked Sophia's body and they found out that she was poisoned.
"We are sorry kid, but your sister was dead three hours ago and it was because of poison" a nurse said then they left the house
She fell down because of the incident, she can't believed that her source of strength was already dead. The only one who can save her from the illness she experiencing, the only smile she wanted to see every time she went home to a hell like home was already death. She came near to her dead sister and embrace it, "I will take revenge for you, don't worry we will be together someday again, I promise that to you" she said while she was crying bitterly. At that time she was already twelve years old, because of anger and grieve she took the sharpest knife in the kitchen and went to her mother's room. She wanted to stabbed her mother because of what she did to her sister, "Sophia, I will avenge you no matter" she said while crying but in her surprised her father went home and stopped her
He held her had with a tight grip, "What are you doing Penelope? Why you wanted to kill your mother?" he asked angrily that made her mother woke up
"She killed my sister!" she shouted so loud and cried "the nurses said that she was died because of poison!" she shouted and gave a fierce look to her father "I will kill her!" she shouted and trying to release herself to her father's grip "Let me go!" she shouted
Her father spanked her so hard, "Your mother will not do that to your sister!" he said
She was surprised about it, its non - sense if she will tell them to anyone. She started to cry bitterly, "Please give my beloved sister a decent funeral, father please" she asked while crying.
At that moment, they arrange her sister's funeral. She was looking to her sister, "I promise I will avenge you, they will taste the torture that they made to you" she said
After they buried her, Penelope was the only one who beaten and as usual it was twice like her sister was still alive. She endure it more than ever until his father decided to go abroad to cure the mental illness of her mother, she talked to Sebastian when their class was over that she will go abroad. When she was in the abroad, a psychiatrist diagnose her as psycho - path because of some of her acts and attitudes are violent. She undergo therapy believing that they can cure her mental illness. She finished her first year in college there then she will come back to where they are to study again and hoping that she can see Sebastian again.
When she came back, she was very happy that she found Sebastian that easy because they have the same course but Sebastian didn't knew her. She protected him in his first battle with Third and that was the day she avenge her twin sister. When she came home she cooked something for her parents that made them happy.
He father looked on what she was cooking, "It looks like you wanted to celebrate something sweetie" he said
She gave him a sweet smile, "I'm just very happy that we are here already, I miss Sophia so much" she said while stirring the dish she was cooking
Her mother was waiting the food on the table like a child, "Honey, is the food ready?" she asked
"Just a minute Mom" she answered. When she was done cooking, she put the dish in three bowls and the two of it has poison then she gave it to her parents.
They sat down, "it looks good sweetie" her father was very excite to eat
"Dad, let's pray first?" she said
Her father do what she asked for, then they started to eat. Her parents was very happy while eating but they suddenly experience a problem in breathing then her mother collapsed already.
"What have you done?" her father asked her while panting
She started to cry, "Do you still remember Sophia right?" she said "She was poisoned by mother but you didn't do anything, she was the only one I have but you put away her to me" she continued "Now, you are asking me why became like this?, now I happy that I avenge my beloved sister" she go upstairs and let them die.
The next day, she called for her Auntie Sabrina to help her about her parent's funeral. Everything was very fine, no one knew about the crime she made then after a day she buried her parent but not where Sophie is. Before she went home, she went to Sophia's grave "We will see each other again, sister" she said while cleaning her sister's grave "Just wait, we will be together again" she added, she stood up and left. By the afternoon, she packed her things then she told to her Aunt that she will be leaving and she will live with Sebastian. From that day, she made herself again whole because she finds her another strength, the strength to live again. In result, when someone wanted to stole her beloved Sebastian her illness triggered, she wanted to kill anyone who wanted to kill or hurt him. She's still alive because of her two selfish wish; first she wanted to be with her beloved sister again and the another one is to make Sebastian happy but the world is so unfair she can only choose between the two most important thing to her.

When Dreos showed up, she didn't know what to do. There were times that she wanted to commit suicide to protect Sebastian but it was not allowed in the survival game. She cried all night because she thought that she can't keep her promise that she will protect him all his life because of it. Her mental illness triggered so that she didn't go outside her room to avoid casualties, on the other hand Sebastian think some things that can calm her down.
He knocked on the door, "Honey, are you okay?" he said
"Please leave me alone!" she answered
He was hurt to her words, "Honey everything will be fine, right?" he said, he was more hurt when he heard Penelope's groaning "Honey, you wanted to go outside? We will go where ever you wanted to go" he said again
When she heard that, she stood up immediately "Where ever I wanted to go?" she said after sobs
He smiled, "Yes, where ever you wanted to go" he said
Her eyes brighten and her cry changed to smile "Okay, I'll just took a bath then I'll change my clothes" she was very excited
When she closed her door, Sebastian took a deep sighed "It's good that she agreed to it" he said on himself
After an hour Penelope was ready.
He stood up, "Where you wanted to go?" he asked, as he looked to her attire it looks like she wanted to go to the cemetery
She smiled widely, "I wanted to go to the cemetery" she said "but first we will buy some flowers for my sister" she added
At that time, Sebastian wanted to ask about her sister but he was afraid that it may trigger her anxiety so he just let her until she will tell about it. Before they reach the cemetery, Penelope bought a bouquet of tulips which was Sophia's favorite flower, while she was looking in it she remembered the first time they saw a tulip that made her sister very happy. When they arrived in the cemetery, Penelope forgot that she was with Sebastian and talked to her sister like she was still alive.
She sat down on the ground, "Hello sis, I am sorry if I visited you now" she said "Do you still remember Sebastian right? He is with me now to visit you" she looked at him
Immediately, Sebastian sat down next to her and looked to the name "Hello Sophia, I am Sebastian, I am your sister's lover and soon to be her husband" he said
Penelope made happy because of that, while they are in the cemetery she told everything to Sebastian about her family and the crime she made to avenge her. Sebastian ignored her story because even him he felt the pain when his parents was killed. They stayed in the cemetery for a day and they enjoy the time with the three of them.
