QUEEN
Ever since Vermont and I talked, I can honestly say that our relationship has improved. It is better than it used to be. We've been spending more time together whenever we’re both free, and at this point, we’ve already memorized each other’s schedules. The only thing I can’t do is l can't talk to his friends and I guess is they still doubt me. 
1st Sem was about to end, so I'm really studying hard since finals are just around the corner. And the library became our usual spot.
"Hey! Vermont." I saw Vermont running, looking like he was in a hurry, but still I called him out.
"Hmm?" He paused briefly, his then greet me with his usual smile on his face.
"Where are you going?" I asked and he chuckled. He then pointed at something, I followed what he was pointing at, it was on the wall.
"I’m just heading to the gymnasium to grab something." He explained and I nodded my head.
"Are you free later? There will be a celebration at our house later. So, what do you think?"
"What's the occasion?" He tilted his head slightly.
"I don't know. Uncle didn't say anything, all I know that they will celebrate something later."
"Sure, I'll pick you up later in the library." His easy acceptance made me smile.
"Okay."
"I'll go now, Bye." I nodded.
“Bye! Sorry for bothering you!”
“No worries.” he said waving his hand, and then he ran off again.
When he was gone I sit back and was busy copying the notes of King's block mate. He forgot to take notes and he couldn't do it in his class because he might get caught so he asked for my help. I didn't mind it but he got an earful before I accept it. When I was done I waited for him to come out and like before, he was with that woman. She look at me with sharp eyes. I sighed.
What is her problem? Maybe she has mistaken me for liking King.
"Did you finish it?" he asked and I nodded. I handed him the notebook. He laughed and messed up my hair so I hit him. "Thank you, Queen."
"Don’t mess up my hair! Anyways, I will be hanging out for a few minutes in the library, you and Ace can go first. I will be with Vermont."
"Did you invite him to the dinner?" King smirked knowingly.
"Yeah," I replied casually.
"Yeah?"
"What?"
"You two dating now?" he teased, his grin widening. I rolled my eyes.
"Crazy, of course not. Do we look like we are dating?"
"I just notice that you're always with him, I often see him in the library and cafeteria with you."
"Of course, we're friends." I said, brushing off his speculations.
"Heh. Friends my face."
"You're being noisy, stop it. We really are just friends." I said and pushed him, he laughed and put his arm around me.
"You see Ace." I looked at where he pointed out he was also with that woman before. "You see them?"
"And what's with them?" I raised an eyebrow.
"They said they were just friends but they almost kissed!" I laughed and pinched his arms.
"Quit sticking your nose into other's business, maybe you're stalking them, aren't you? I'm going to tell it to Ace!”
"I wasn’t stalking! And I won't bother stalking them." King protested. "I saw it by accident!"
"All right," I said, unconvinced.
"And I won't be surprised if I saw that woman at home later." He then close his mouth and I squinted my eyes, you too idiot.
"Do you know her name?" I asked.
"Nope," and he shook his head.
"Treat me some lunch, I'm hungry." I said and his face softened.
"We have a group study today, I'm sorry." He pats my head and I nod.
"All right, so unfair."
"I will treat you one don't worry, bye." he even pressed my nose and left. I frowned as I looked at him and when my stomach grumble again, Without wasting another second, I hurried out of the building, heading for the cafeteria.
On my way, I unexpectedly bumped into Bench, the guy I met in the resort.
"Hey." he smiled and I stopped and waved my hand.
"Hi." I replied. I'm surprised because I thought he wouldn't remember me anymore.
"How are you?"
"I'm okay," I said, smiling back. "You?"
"I'm good. Where are you headed too?"
"To the cafeteria then go straight to the library, What about you?"
"To the cafeteria. Can I come along?" I nodded and his smile widened. "Great!" we go to the cafeteria together. I ordered fries, and burger, and Bench bought a chicken sandwich. There are few people who were eating in the cafeteria so we immediately found a seat. As we settled down to eat, Bench broke the silence.
"What are you going to do in the library? Group study?"
"No Haha... Ahh, I'll just get the book."
"Hmm. Let's eat quickly so you can get the book right away." I nodded and we started eating, from time to time he would stare at me and when I would look at him, he would avoid my gaze.
"I heard you're always together with Vermont." He then said and I nod.
"Uhh yeah."
"Do you talk to his friends?"
"Nope, what about you don't you have any friends?" He chuckled. "Don't be offended, I'm just asking out of curiosity."
"I have and we took different programs, so we only see each other whenever we have free time."
"Ahh, I see," I said, nodding thoughtfully.
"Are you busy later? I'd like to invite you to a dinner." I was shocked when I looked at him and he laughed.
"Oh yeah, we have a dinner later. Maybe next time."
"Okay," he said, flashing a playful grin. "But you promised, so I’ll hold you to it."
"Of course." we finished eating and he also went with me to get a book in the library. He was such a happy-go-lucky person and I heard from his friends because we saw them earlier. They tease us and one of them told me to not date Bench because he was a bit playboy.
"I'm sorry about that."
"Nah, it's fine."
"And please ignore what they said. I'm really sorry."
"Yeah, no worries." His face is still red as he helped me find the book I was looking for. Then after 15 minutes he said goodbye and left because he has a class, after that I hung out in the Garden and spent my vacant time there until my next class. I don't know why but when the first Sem ended I was hit by laziness, before, I used to go to the library to read some topics now what I do to my free time was just either eat or sleep.
"Hey. Queen Diamond Imperial." a familiar voice whispered that. I felt his breath from my ear then to my nape, I got goosebumps! I looked at Vermont with a shocked face and he laughed as he looked at me.
"You crazy!" I exclaimed, glaring at him while trying to steady my racing heart.
Shit!
"Haha, why are you sleeping here huh? I thought you were going to study?" widened my eyes at him, annoyed. He find my reaction funny, huh?
"Shh!" I rolled my eyes and he laughed again. "Because I'm lazy." I sighed again and I watch him open the book.
"Should we stay here for a moment?" I nodded even though I was still stunned at his action a while ago I then closed my eyes again.
I was woken up by Vermont again when he suddenly blew into my ear. Really what's with him?
"What the! You're acting strange. Behave!" I glared at him and he just laughed harder.
"You're really cute when you're angry." He tease me while I continue to glared at him.
"Don't bother me, I'm sleepy. Just silently read your book while I sleep here." he chuckled and nodded and when I closed my eyes again, he did not disturb me. Finally. It was six when he woke me up, and I didn't see our car in the parking lot, maybe they were already at home. But when we arrived, I was surprised that the car wasn't there.
"No one's home?" He asked.
"The caretaker had already left, Uncle will be there later... my brothers, Uhh I don't know."
"Okay."
"Uhm, what do you want for drinks?"
"I'm okay in anything." I nodded and poured pineapple juice into the glass and put cookies on the saucer. He thanked me when I gave it to him. I turned on the TV so we won't get bored.
"Wait here for a moment, I'll just get dressed."
"Yeah." I made a quick shower. Wearing a crop top and shorts, I get downstairs, and there my brothers come in.
They greet me the moment they saw me and I then saw the two women follwed my brothers. I squint my eyed when I notice that they are the ones who used to be with my brothers. I think they like my brothers or maybe they are already dating each other.
"Where did you guys go?"
"We just picked the food that uncle ordered. Did you wait for hours here?"
"No, we also just arrived a while ago." They nod at greeted Vermont after that they motioned that they will head into the kitchen. I watch them put the food to the kitchen table and after that I went back and sat down on the sofa beside Vermont. I looked at the two women who were staring at me, maybe surprised because I also live here.
"Hi! What do you want to drink?"
"A-ah anything." and they averted their gaze.
"I hope Pineapple juice was already enough. Take a seat first I'll just get your drinks."
"Yes..."
"Okay." I left them to get another batch of juice and cookies. "Wow, it looks delicious!" King nodded.
"It was really delicious we tasted that a bit at the resto earlier."
"Can I taste?" he nods and give me some. Woah this is superb.
"What's the occasion anyways?"
"I do not know," I answered Ace's question and took the tray.
"Queen the chocolates?"
"I ate it last night."
"What? It's mine! there's three here did you eat it all?"
"I only took half of it, maybe King ate it all."
"King!" Then King started to run and Ace shouted. He open the refrigerator and searched for some food there.
"Here." I put down the tray and they smiled.
"A-Ahh Thanks."
"King!" Ace shouted again and my eyebrows met, they were not even embarrassed. We have guests and they are acting like they were children.
"I'm sorry they're noisy, just ignore them."
"It's okay. Hehe." I nodded and just watched King argued with Ace in the kitchen.
"Oi, It looks like Uncle is on his way here." He said and I glared at King. "Sorry." He then pouted, what a rude one.
He sat next to the beautiful woman and Ace followed. I just looked at them and when they saw that I was looking at them they slightly move apart from each other.
“Ahem.” My brother then get it and smiled at me.
"By the way, I know that I've already introduced her to you but let me do it again. She's our older sister, Queen Diamond, Queen this is Estancia." I nod.
"And she's Allisha." Ace introduced the shy woman beside him, I smiled at them.
"Diamond Imperial, nice to meet you Estancia, Allisha."
"Ahh, h-hi, nice to meet you to sister," Allisha said it in a soft voice.
"Nice to meet you." Then Estancia look down. Maybe she felt shy.
"Same here. Please, be comfortable." and they smiled at me.
"Hmm." the four of them are silently talking when Vermont pokes me. "Why?"
"Nothing." I laughed softly and he turned his gaze back to the TV while eating cookies.
"Are you good?" I whispered at him and he nodded. "Let's just wait for uncle, he was already in his way here."
"Yeah." Minutes after that I heard Uncle's car outside. 
"Uncle is already here." we got up and the first to enter was uncle then followed by the workers at his resort.
"Good Evening, Uncle."
"Good evening, Sir." Estancia, Vermont, and Allisha greeted Uncle Jordan.
"Oh, Hello Good evening. King, please take that to the dining area, thank you."
"What's the occasion, uncle?" Ace asked.
"Anniversary of the Resort, just like before we're celebrating here, just a simple dinner." Oh, I see.
"Uncle, I would like you to meet Estancia."
"And this is Allisha."
"Hello, Nice to meet you. So, you’ve already meet them." He look at me and I nod when I get what Uncle means he then laughed. "I guess you approved."
"Now uncle this is my friend, Vermont." Uncle looked at me and the look at Vermont. I shook my head.
"Your friend?"
"Yes."
"Well, that's surprising."
"Not really, So let's eat?" we followed uncle to the dining room and I saw that the food was already served. After we prayed, we started eating. At the end of the table was Uncle and I was on his left and next to me is Vermont and next to him is the one who works in the resort. In front of me was King then Estancia followed by Allisha and Ace.
"You didn't invite mom and dad?"
"I did, Rachel can't come and Alfred is still busy but they sent a cake and that's what we ate earlier." Yeah, of course they are busy.
"Okay..."
"And your mom is asking if you did visit Devi's family, I heard they were having a vacation in Hartville." I momentarily stopped and smile at him.
"No, but I had a small talk with Devi." I casually said and they nod.
"Why don't you call them?" Ace asked me and I shake my head. "It's been a while since you saw them."
"Don't want to disturb their vacation." I simply said.
"I almost forgot your mom also told me that you have to call them later." I averted my gaze and sighed.
"Ahahaha did you know that Ace fell earlier?" my brother suddenly said it and Ace groaned. Nice one King. Thanks to that there is no awkward silence.
"It's because of you! Idiot."
"Manners, I don't want you to say that in front of food."
"Sorry."
"There is no party uncle?"
"Nah ah, that's not my thing."
"Hmm, by the way, the prof that you like why you didn't invite her?" Ace asked and Uncle shook his head.
"Professor? I don't know who is this prof you're talking about."
"But you're blushing! uncle, you're not a teenager anymore." we laughed and the conversation continued. Our guests also joined the conversation and our dinner ended happily.
After eating Dessert, they decided to watch a movie, while uncle had already retire from bed. Allisha and Estancia are on the corner talking and the boys we're outside to get some air.
I stood up and go to the kitchen to get some milk. I also drink my medicine. While I was drinking my milk suddenly my eyes went blank and I dropped the glass I was holding.
I heard the glass shatter and there my brothers rushed here.
"What happened?" King was the first to rush in, his face etched with concern.
"I just dropped the glass." I closed my eyes and when I opened them finally my sight went back but everything was still kinda blurry.
"You okay?" I nod and sighed when finally, my sight went back. We all looked at the broken glass. Then King looks at me with suspicious eyes.
"Tsk, I'm not going to kill myself. I just dropped the glass that’s all."
"That is not what I meant."
"Then don’t look at me like that."
"I'll clean it up, go and rest in the couch."
"All right." and while he was collecting the broken glass, I don't know what happened but the milk on the floor turned red.
"B-Blood." I stared at my hand stained with blood. I takr a step back and my legs gave in, and the last thing I saw was King running towards me.
