QUEEN
I forced myself out of bed even though I still haven't calm myself. Dragging my feet to the bathroom, I splashed a cold water on my face, it made me awake, but it did nothing to wash away the lingering heat from the memory of last night. As I dried my face, I stared at my reflection in the mirror.
"Pull yourself together, Queen," I whispered. "It was just a kiss... just a kiss."
I brushed my teeth thrice and take gargle twice before I stepped into the shower. Agreed getting dressed I made my way downstairs, I can smell the delicious soup through the air.
"You look better, you good?" he asked and I noddded, we went to the dining are and he sat across me. He handed the soup to me and I gently smile.
"Thanks," I mumbled. I gently blow it and take a taste. "This is so good." Ace smile at me.
"So... about last night." I nearly choked on my soup, coughing as I waved my hand.
"W-what about it?"
"You were with Vermont, right?" he asked casually, though there was a hint of curiosity in his tone. I nodded, keeping my eyes on the bowl. 
"Yeah, we went to a party. Akie got accepted at OC Entertainment, so she wanted to celebrate." Ace raised an eyebrow, his lips twitching as if he were holding back a smirk.
"And?" I froze, my mind scrambling for something to say.
"And... nothing. We celebrated, danced, and came home." Ace gave me a knowing look but didn’t press further.
"If you say so," he said, and started to eat. "Just make sure you don’t overdo it next time. You were barely functioning when you got in."
I muttered a quick "yeah" before finishing my soup, eager to escape the conversation. As I stood to rinse my bowl, my phone buzzed on the counter. The screen lit up with a message from Vermont.
Vermont
Good Morning
How are you feeling?
Me
I’m fine. Just a little tired. You?
His response was almost immediate.
Vermont
I’m good. Glad to hear you’re okay. Last night was... something.
I froze, my heart pounding as I read the message again. Was he talking about the kiss? Did he regret it?
Before I could overthink further, Ace's voice snapped me back to reality.
"You going to stand there all day?"
"What? No," I said quickly, pocketing my phone. "I’m going back to my room."
I rushed upstairs, shutting the door behind me as I leaned against it. Pulling out my phone, I stared at Vermont’s message again.
"Last night was... something."
The words lingered in my mind. I wanted to ask him what he meant, but fear held me back. Instead, I set the phone on my nightstand and flopped onto my bed, my thoughts spinning. I don't know for how long I was staring at the ceiling but a sudden knock on my door startled me.
"Queen, you have a visitor!" Ace called.
A visitor? I frowned, pulling myself up and heading downstairs. When I reached the living room, Vermont was standing there, hands casually in his pockets.
"Vermont?" I said, my voice betraying my surprise. "Hi." He turned, offering me a small smile.
"Hey. Thought I’d check on you."
"You could’ve just texted," I said, folding my arms as I tried to ignore the rapid beat of my heart.
"Yeah, but you didn't replied on my texts," he said, his tone so casual it left me flustered. Oh right, I forgot to reply!
"I'm sorry, I thought I already reply." Ace gave us a curious glance before slipping into the kitchen, leaving us alone. 
"Did your head hurts?" He asked.
"I while ago, I'm good now."
"Oh, then I'll get going now. I just really want to check you."
"Wait, why don't you join me for bruch?"
"You still haven't eat anything?"
"Well hangover soup, Ace cooked. And now I'm hungry again, would you join me?"
"If I know you still haven't eat anything I would take out food for you."
"I said I had soup."
"Nah, that was different, this is why you're so thin."
"I'm just maintaining my figure."
"What do you have in there?" He asked.
"I don't know." Ace then left the kitchen with a grin on his face.
"There still some cake and pastries in there. I'll leave you two now."
"Where are you going?"
"Meet my friends. There is still some beef in there."
"Okay, Take care." I bring the food to the dining area while Vermont prepare the plate utensils in the table. I smile at him as I put the pitcher. "Let's eat."
He nod at me and we silently eat our brunch. After eating I thought we would be able to talk but we didn't. He told me that he needed to go home.
"Take care." He smile at me and nod his head.
It was after Vermont left the house. Mom called asking Ace to go there. I also wanted to go because I don't want to be alone here but I left with no choice but to stay here because they didn't ask for me and of course I was still hesitant to be with them.
"Are you sure you will be alright alone?"
"Yeah, I will be fine." I nod and give him a small smile.
"Hmm, but I think it was still not a good idea for you with just one bodyguard. What If someone broke inside the house?"
"Don't think some negative things, I will be safe there."
"I hope so." I held his hand and tighten it. "You really need to be careful, Queen. Don't forget to eat and drink your medicine."
"I will be fine." Ace continued packing and he told me that the driver was on his way here. I was not really fine with them leaving, the house was quiet and lonely and I don't like that.
The next day I went to the University alone, because Ace already left. I was blankly staring outside when suddenly someone touch my shoulders, I was surprised. And I look around and found out that it was Vermont.
"You scared me!" he laughed and kissed my cheek.
"I'm sorry but what are you seriously thinking, huh?" he sat beside me and I sighed.
"Ah, Ace already left to go in Hartville and I will just stay here," I said it in a bitter tone and was on a verge of crying.
"Is there a problem in your parents house?"
"Yes, but I don't know what is it. They're keeping it a secret and I still haven't had a talk to King."
"Maybe he was just really busy."
"I know."
"Did you already eat?" He asked and I shake my head.
"I'll buy us food." I look at him and he smiled.
"Thank you."
"Cheer up, it's not that they will be gone for a year, they still have to finish studying here."
"You're right." I nod.
"I'll be back." I said okay to him and wait for him to be back and when he was finishing preparing food I started to eat, after that he watch me do my assignment and got confused about what I am doing.
"I'll be back, I'll just look for this book."
"Hmm." When Vermont left I was back on reading a book when Bench sat in front of me.
"Hi." He smiled at me and I nod. Wews, it was a bit awkward being with him now.
"Hello."
"Continue reading and don't mind me." I nod and focused on reading, seconds after that I felt him looked at me. It was the same as last time, he looks like he was about to cry.
"Queen." I look up and there I saw Vermont, holding his book. He gently put it down and put his bag in front of me, so I can't see Bench anymore.
"Are you hungry?" he sat beside me and sighed.
"We just ate. Don't you class?"
"Nope, Our prof is absent, again. How many hours will take for you to finish that?"
"Just an hour then we can now leave." He nodded and opened his book. He started to write and I go back to reading after that I started to answer the activity that our prof gave us. I was too focused on it and when I was done, I stretch my arms and smiled. "I'm done."
"Haa." He look at me and I held his hands.
"What's the problem?"
"Bench." Oh! I look in front of me and he was already gone.
"I forget about him, so what's with him?" I raised my eyebrow and he sighed.
"Why did he sat here?" I shrugged my shoulders and gather my things.
"He just said hi and we didn't have a conversation after that. It was kinda awkward you know."
"Hmm, you need to pass that right?" I nod and he said we should go now. After I passed it, we go straight to his car. "Where do you want to eat?"
"Fast food's fine. And before I forgot, tomorrow I will go to the resort to help uncle." He nod and held my hand.
"I will help, then let's go catch some waves." He said as he smile widely.
"Huh?"
"Surfing."
"Woah, sounds fun. You will teach me, right?"
"Yeah, so I'll go early to your house?"
"Yeah, like 5 am."
"Okay noted." When we arrive at the fast food and Vermont already made an order, I suddenly remember I was on a diet. Haa, let's just go with it. After that, he told me we will go to their hang-out and I just said okay.
When we arrive there, they are playing billiards and they all look at us. 
"We did buy some food." Vermont breaks the silence and let me sit on the chair.
"Thanks..." we are all silently eating when a rushing Akie appeared and suddenly hugged me.
"O my gosh Queen thank you!"
"Yes?" I put down the fork I was holding and she smiled widely.
"I know I already thank you that night , but I was fucking wasted that night. That day OC entertainment reach me out and asked for me to audition there. It was also said that if I pass, they will provide for my room and enroll me in one of the universities there!" I nod and she continue talking. "And just a while ago, OC said that I passed. I fucking passed and will be going to Hartville!"
"O my gosh, Congrats!" I said and I can't help but to hugged her. "You're so good, of course they would accept you."
"Thank you, if it wasn't for your help." 
"So you helped, Akie?" We look at Shanon and I was about to answer when we got distracted when Vermont try to feed me. He was holding the chicken using his left hand and his right was holding a spoon full of rice.
"Dude, can you stop that for a moment," Akie said it and I shut my mouth so Vermont glared at her.
"What? My girlfriend is hungry." They all look at me and I avert my eyes and coughed.
"Ahh, yeah. Sorry!" Akie then let go of my hand and tell me to accept the food. I was embarrased as I take it.
"Let's fucking celebrate!" Akie shouted and immediately get a bottle of wine.
"But what about me, huh? You are going to leave us, I'm gonna miss you!"
"Yeah, that was a bit sad but I need to chase my dreams. It's now or never."
"Still..." Shanon cried and Akie comfort her. "You need to take care and go better. You need to make them dropped their mouths with your talent." I put down the glass of wine I'm holding and Vermont look at me.
"You don't like the wine?"
"No, it's just I was avoiding alcohol now." He nod and gave me water.
"Finish eating then I'll take you home."
"Okay." While eating I continue to listen to their conversation, Art was just listening to them and he still hasn't said a word.
"I'm done." He smiled and stood up, they all looked at us and I smile at them as I get my bag.
"We will go now." I said softly.
"Okay, take care..."
"Bye." I slightly bow my head and was about to leave when Akie stop us.
"Queen, thank you. Let's see in Hartville soon."
"Yeah, I wish you good luck." She nodded her head and hugged me once again.
"Thank you! Bye!" I nod at her and after that we take our leave, it was already 9:30 when I get home.
"Good night, lock the doors and window." He said as he patted my head.
"Yes, thank you. Go ahead, I'll go inside when you leave."
"Wait, can I come for a second? I think I won't be able to sleep if I didn't check you whole house." A smile creep into my face as I stare at his handsome face. I chuckled and let him inside. He check the whole house and locked the back door and windows.
"You don't need to walk me out."
"But-"
"Go and lock the door. Don't open the door late at night, okay?"
"Yes. Take care."
"You two, sleep tight." I was surprised when he suddenly leaned and caught my lips. It was just a short kissed but it gave me thousand butterflies in my stomach. "Have a good night, Queen."
"Y-yeah, you two." I said and wave my hand before I immediately went inside and locked the door. My heart is beating so fast that it takes me minutes to calm myself.
O my gosh.
Since I already eat dinner, I immediately drink my medicine and drink a milk first before sleeping. It was a good sleep that I woke up early, after eating I pack my clothes and go down and there, I saw Vermont's car.
"Let's go?"
"Yeah."
I get inside the car and he told me that I should take a nap but I refuse, we talked about random things like the happening in our life before we met, and we continue talking until we reach the hotel. I told uncle that I will bring Vermont and he just said okay. I was a bit guilty he need to work here but he said it was fine.
We continue working until 4 and after that, we change our clothes. We are going to surf!
"Take care there."
"Yes, uncle!" he teach me how to ride but I always failed, we are like that for an hour and finally I can now stand on the board for five seconds.
I'm proud of it. Haha.
"I'm tired!" I sip on my juice and he sat beside me. "Why don't you enjoy the waves?"
"Nah, it's boring if you're not there." I laughed and slightly hit him.
"Try this one." I put it in his mouth and he nods.
"Another one please."
"Okay!" I happily feed him with the apple pie and we swim in the ocean for minutes and go back inside. We helped delivered the food and ate dinner together. It was Friday morning when I receive a text from King that they will go back to Montosco.
I tell it to uncle and he was relieved, in just a month the class will about to end and finals are just around. We are busy studying in the library and after the class, we'll just spend our time reading. We need to focus on studying first before flirting. Same scenario to my brothers, they're having a group study in our house and when the hell week came we are all nervous and a bit of excited because after this will be no classes!
Fucking sem break!
Luckily, we all survived that and we're now enjoying our vacation. It was a good time to dip in the water to relax ourselves after a stressful year.
"I really shouldn't choose this program, I'm crying!"
"Same here, I wish I will survive another year." I massage my temples and sighed.
"I will cry later because the class will about to begin in a week."
"Yeah, your right!"
Yeah, our vacation will come to an end, it was such a pity that it was about to end. We all need another month!
"I need to go home early we are having a dinner party in the house." I look at Vermont and I nodded.
"Are you going now?"
"Is it fine?"
"Of course, text me when you arrive." He nod and kissed my cheeks. "Take care."
"Hmm, bye."
"Oh, where is he going?" King asked me.
"They're having a dinner party." He nod and handed the juice.
"Drink some, why you are pale, are you fine?" I nod and damn, everything was blurry and I almost fall. "Queen..." I look a King and closed my eyes, he was saying something but I can't hear it all.
"I need to r-rest." I sighed and keep my eyes closed. "I can't hear what you're saying, King."
I felt him tighten his hold on me and I felt that he was giving me some capsule and after that, my eyes started to fall. Why I am suddenly asleep?
"What is-"
