QUEEN
After that incident, my brothers decide for me to get some check-up. I didn't tell this to Vermont, and we all agreed to keep it a secret from Uncle and our parents. I don't have the strenght to tell them. When the result came it was said that nothing is wrong with me. I was relieved but my brothers aren't. Yes, I know this is unusual, but maybe that has happened to me because I was just stressed. But why I can't still forget it.
The classes were now started and it was another stressful semester.
"Hey." Vermont’s familiar voice pulls me out of my thoughts.
"Hi." I look at Vermont and he kisses my cheeks first before sitting beside me. "Did you already order?"
"Yeah. So, how's your day?" He asked and I gently smile at him.
"It was smooth. I missed you." His words are simple, but it gave me thousand butterflies.
"I missed you too." He kissed my temples and he held my hand.
"Tell me what happened? You look down."
"I'm scared to say." I admit, sighing as I glance down at our hands intertwined. He was silent after that and then the food was finally served. "Are you mad?" I ask hesitantly, reading his expression.
"No, I will not force you if you do not want to talk about it." he reassures me with a small smile as he patted my head. "Eat now." I nod and started to eat. "Here try this, you need to eat more."
"Thank you." I smiled at him and try the food he put on my plate after eating we stroll around. We go to a park and sat on a bench there, there were colorful lights everywhere and some people walking around.
"Let's be here for a moment so you can relax." I didn't answer him and just lean on his shoulders and watch people walk. We stayed like that for minutes and he didn't complain.
"Uh, I don't know where to start."
"Just say whatever comes to mind first," he encourages. I sighed and hugged myself as I recall the past.
"Back then, I was caught in an accident. There were two of us. The person I was with that night... didn’t make it. I think there is something problem with me after that? If you are also there when King found me in the kitchen because I fell the glass..." he suddenly found my hands and he held them. "That night I lost my sight if you are there and notice that my eyes were close because even though my eyes were open it was complete darkness and it was minutes after my sight went back."
"Are you fine now?" I nod hesitantly.
"It also happened. It was the day that you said you have a dinner party." I suddenly felt his grip tighten. "My brother said I look pale and the next, that was lost was my hearing. I can't hear anything they gave me sleeping pills and I was asleep for hours." My eyes widened when he suddenly hugged me, and then I started to cry.
"And what happened next?" he asks, his voice steady but laced with worry.
"We didn't tell uncle or our parents about this and we go to the doctor and he told me that there was nothing wrong. But I know there is... I'm scared."
"Hush. Calm down." he murmurs, his hand gently patting my back as I sob into his shoulder.
"What if it the next time it will be permanent?" The thought terrifies me, and I shake my head, trying to dispel it and I felt him tap my back.
"Queen think positive, maybe it was really nothing maybe that was the last time." His voice is soothing, but I can tell he’s worried too. I nod and stayed crying on his shoulders. And as the time pass by, I started to feel tired and I closed my eyes.
When I woke up I was already in my room and I notice that Vermont was being extra careful with me. That was so sweet of him.
"Queen, let's go travel." he suggests and I stopped reading my book.
"Where?"
"In Stoa, there is a famous hot spring there and let's relax for two days."
"Sure."
"I already told this to your brothers and they said okay."
"Yeah." I laughed and he raised his eyebrows.
"Why are you laughing?"
"I was just surprised to hear that they said okay."
"Yeah, I was shocked too, knowing that the two of them treat you really like a Queen."
"Of course." I laughed and we go down to eat dinner. King has a date tonight so he was not here, as for Ace he was silent the whole time, it looks like he was not in the mood so we didn't utter a word during dinner.
"I will leave now, thanks for the dinner. I will pick you up at 8."
"Okay, take care on your way home."
"I will." When he already left, I go inside and saw Ace lying on the couch.
"What Is it?"
"Nothing."
"Did you have a fight with her?" he didn't say anything and I nod. "So, it was her."
"It is not."
"Tell it to me."
"It's just I get mad at her after I found out where she was working. I told him to not go there anymore and she got mad at me and hasn't said anything to me for three days."
"Why don't you talk to her?"
"I already did but no response."
"Just go to her." He looks at me and shrugs his shoulders. "I'll go to sleep now if you are going out locked the doors."
"No, I won't leave."
"Okay." After finishing the activities that were given to us, I immediately sleep. When morning came, I was excited as I pack my clothes and after that I immediately go downstairs to jog for 30 minutes. When I was done, I join my brothers in breakfast.
"So, how's your date last night?" I ask King and he shrug.
"It's fine." That's it? I thought he will going to tell me where did they eat or where did they go after dinner.
"Same as Ace, eh?"
"No." I shake my head and sighed.
"Are you two going in stoa today?" Ace asked and I nod.
"You're staying there for?"
"I don't know, I thought he told the two of you."
"I think?"
"Haa, King you better said sorry to Estancia. You to Ace." I rolled my eyes and stand up. I get my bag into my room and there From my window, I saw Vermont's car. I rushed downstairs and I smiled when I see him.
"Hello!"
"Hi, I'm ready." 
"Great so let's go?" I nod and was about to step when King stop me.
"Wait, how many days you two will be gone?"
"Ah, two days."
"Two days it is, bring her home Friday morning."
"Yes, Noted." Then King nodded and he let me leave now.
"Text me once you arrived!"
"Yeah."
"YOU SHOULD!"
"Argh, that idiot." He laughed and my eyes widened when I saw his car. "Omg, Silver Mercedes-Benz SL class convertible. I like this car."
"Yeah right. It was a gift from dad."
"I will definitely enjoy this trip." He smiled as I opened the door and get inside.
It was a fun trip as the warm sun touches our skin, and the soft blows of wind, as we listen to songs.
I would like to do this again.
"So, how's my baby?" he tap the car and I smiled.
"I really like it."
"It was a good idead to bring this one, let's get inside now." I nod and look at the lodge so this is where we will going to spend our two-day vacation. The woman there give us the keys and I followed him. "This is your room and this is mine."
"Okay."
"If you're done, we will eat outside first then what do you think of zipline?"
"Oh, let's try that."
"Okay then." We get inside the room; it was small but it was beautiful inside and we got a cozy bed here. I choose pants and a black shirt and tied my hair. After looking at myself in the mirror, I spray some perfume in me and go outside, and there I saw Vermont waiting outside his room.
"Let's go now!" there is a small coffee shop beside the lodge and Vermont ordered coffee while I tried their ice cream and cake. The coffee shop was playing a song and you can smell the coffee from here. "Thank you for bringing me here, it was nice."
"I'm glad you enjoy it, I'm sure you'll be delighted to see the view here at night." he replies, his smile warm.
"Eh? I can't wait." I grin as I got excited. We continue eating, and the soft melody of the coffee shop was calming. "I wish that time would go slower as we stay here."
"Yeah." he agrees softly, his gaze lingering on me.
For the first time in weeks, I feel a sense of peace. Vermont’s presence, and this trip, it’s exactly what I needed to calm my raging mind.
