QUEEN
"Let's go?"
"Mm, yeah." I smiled at him. Then I look around. "Who's gonna drive the yacht?"
"Me. Come with me"
"Ehh?"
Vermont took the wheel of the yacht with an ease that left me amazed. The sunlight danced on the water, painting the scene with a serene beauty that mirrored the calmness of Vermont’s expression as he maneuvered us away from the dock.
He look hot as he do that.
"So you know how to drive a yacht. How?" I asked, my voice tinged with genuine surprise. He glanced at me, a small smile tugging at his lips.
"My uncle owns one," he explained casually. "He taught me when I was younger."
"Of course he did," I teased, shaking my head. "Is there anything you can’t do, Love?" He chuckled, the sound rich and warm against the backdrop of gentle waves.
"Plenty, but I’m not about to ruin the mystery by telling you."
I laughed, feeling lighter as the yacht glided through the sparkling blue sea. The breeze carried the salty tang of the sea, and for a moment, everything felt perfect.
After a while, Vermont stopped us not too far from the island. The yacht swayed gently as we sat in front of the table for brunch. My stomach growled at the sight of the spread, scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, chocolates, and a bottle of red wine.
"This is perfect," I murmured, settling into my seat. "Thank you. Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy birthday, Love." Vermont leaned back, his gaze is soft as it rested on me.
"Thank you, Love."
"We don't have cake." I sadly said and he chuckled.
"It's fine. Let's eat?" I smile widely and nod at him.
We started eating, the food tasting even better in the open air. As we talked, the conversation naturally shifted on how this trip came to be.
"This was Akie’s idea," I admitted, as I take a bite on the bread.
"Akie?" Vermont arched a brow, clearly intrigued. "Tell me."
"Yeah," I said, smiling at the memory of that day. "She told me to take you here, and she was just on time, coz I was having a hard time finding a place where we could spend valentines and of course celebrate your birthday." I said and he chuckled.
"Really?"
"Mm, and there’s no photoshoot, by the way." Vermont paused mid-bite, blinking at me.
"No photoshoot?" I nod my head, grinning. "So you really said that as an excuse."
"Yeah and If you’d just said yes to me last night, I would’ve asked the staff to prepare the yacht for a surprise dinner. But someone wanted me to rest. Hmp!" Vermont leaned forward, his smirk playful.
"So you were up to something."
"Of course!" I said, laughing. "But I guess you beat me to it. Anyways... this is perfect, Vermont."
After brunch, we decided to swim. I pulled my dress over my head, revealing the swimsuit I had on underneath. Vermont’s reaction caught my attention immediately.
He was frowning, his expression is unreadable as his gaze lingered on me.
"What’s wrong?" I asked, tilting my head at him. He didn’t answer, his eyes narrowing slightly as he crossed his arms.
I sighed and jumped first at the water. I look up and saw the Vermont is still looking at me with a frown on his face.
"Seriously, Vermont, what’s your problem?" I pressed but before I could get another word out, Vermont jumped into the water with a splash. Seconds later, his hands were on my waist, pulling me into the cool embrace of the sea.
I gasped, spinning around to meet his intense gaze. His lips were pressed into a thin line.
Just why is he annoyed?
"What is it?" I asked again, chuckling softly despite the tension.
He didn’t reply, just continued to stare at me, his expression brooding.
"You’re mad," I said, my voice teasing as I laughed at his obvious displeasure. "Why though?"
Vermont sneered, his grip on my waist tightening.
"I’m not mad," he muttered, but his tone betrayed him.
I couldn’t help but to laugh harder. Moving closer, I pressed a soft kiss to his shoulder, hoping to ease whatever was bothering him. Then, I wrapped my arms around him in a gentle hug.
His hold on me tightened, and I gasped as his fingers dug slightly into my sides.
"Vermont!" I said, laughing and squirming. "What’s gotten into you?"
He finally broke into a small smile, shaking his head. "Nothing," he murmured, his tone softer now. But the way his eyes lingered on me told a different story. If I am not mistaken it was of possessiveness. It made my heart race.
In that moment, I realized I didn’t mind his grip, his stare, or his unspoken thoughts. Vermont’s presence was overwhelming, but in his arms, surrounded by the endless blue of the sea, I felt like I was exactly where I belonged.
I leaned in and placed a soft kiss on his right cheek, hoping to lighten the mood. Vermont turned his head slightly, his brows lifting in amusement.
"Are you trying to seduce me, Queen?" he asked, his voice low and teasing. I pulled back, raising an eyebrow at him.
"Oh, really?" I said, my arms is still wrapped in his neck and his arms are resting in my waist. "That’s what you think?" A mischievous grin spread across his face as he shrugged, clearly enjoying the moment.
It wasn’t until a second later that realization hit me. I had removed my dress right in front of him earlier, without a second thought. My eyes widened as the memory flashed through my mind.
"Oh," I murmured, as heat creep up my neck and face.
Vermont’s grin widened, and his eyes sparkled with amusement as he caught onto my embarrassment.
"Oh?" he repeated, leaning closer, clearly enjoying my sudden flustered state.
I huffed, trying to play it off as I turned away, but the warmth in my cheeks betrayed me.
"Don’t get any ideas," I muttered.
He laughed, the sound rich and genuine. "Oh yeah?," he teased. I remove my hands on him and gave us some space. He was still holding me.
I glared at him half-heartedly, but his playful smirk made it impossible to stay mad. Instead, I splashed water in his face, catching him off guard.
"That’s for making me feel self-conscious," I said, laughing as he blinked water out of his eyes.
Vermont wiped his face and looked at me with mock offense. "Oh, now it’s war," he said, his voice laced with determination.
Before I could react, he lunged forward, pulling me back into his arms and spinning me around in the water. I laughed uncontrollably, the tension from earlier was forgotten as we played like kids in this vast ocean as our playground.
In that moment, everything felt light and carefree, the weight of the world melting away with every laugh and splash. As Vermont spun me around, our laughter mingled with the sound of the waves. When he finally set me down, our eyes locked.
Without thinking, I leaned in, and so did he. Our lips met, gentle at first, as if testing something, but the kiss quickly deepened. His arms tightened around me, pulling me closer, and my hands instinctively found their way to his shoulders for balance.
The world around us seemed to blur, the ocean, the sun, and even time itself fading into the background. All I could focus on was the way his lips moved against mine.
Confident yet tender, possessive yet comforting.
When we finally pulled back for air, I rested my forehead against his chest. When I look up I saw him smiling, his eyes never leaving mine.
"Let's go back."
"Okay..." Vermont took my hand and gently led me back to the yacht, his touch firm yet careful, as if I might slip away. The sun glistened on the water, and I could still feel the heat after our kiss.
Once we climbed back aboard, he didn’t let go of my hand. Instead, he pulled me closer, his other hand sliding to the small of my back. Our lips met again, this time with more urgency, more need, as if the short walk from the water to the yacht had been far too long.
We stumbled slightly, caught up in the moment, but Vermont steadied me with ease. His hands were warm, grounding me, while his kiss made me feel like I was floating.
Finally, I pulled back, laughing breathlessly.
"Are we just going to stay here kissing all day?" He smirked, his thumb brushing against my cheek.
"I wouldn’t mind."
The air seemed to thicken with an unspoken tension. Vermont’s hand lingered over mine, his thumb brushing softly against my skin. His gaze held mine, steady and unwavering, and for a moment, I forgot to breathe.
"Queen," he began, his voice low and husky, "Can I touch you?" The question hung between us, heavy and charged. My heart skipped a beat, and I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks. There was something about the way he asked. It was so sincere, so careful, as if he was giving me all the power to decide.
I nodded, barely able to speak, my body betraying me as the tension swirled around us. "Yes," I whispered, the word escaping my lips before I could overthink it.
Vermont moved slowly, deliberately, giving me every chance to pull away. His hand slid from my arm, trailing up to my shoulder. His fingers were warm, almost burning against my skin, yet his touch was so gentle that it sent a shiver down my spine.
He leaned closer, his other hand resting on my waist, pulling me toward him. My breath hitched as his fingertips skimmed over the curve of my back, his touch firm yet tender. I felt like I was melting under his gaze, his hands, his presence.
"You're so beautiful," he murmured, his lips brushing against my temple. "You're perfect, Queen." I gasp.
My chest tightened at his words, and I couldn’t help but laugh nervously, trying to break the tension. "You’re just saying that because we’re alone on a yacht."
He pulled back slightly, tilting my chin up so I had no choice but to look into his eyes. "I’d say it anywhere," he said softly, his sincerity hitting me like a wave.
I swallowed hard, my heart pounding in my chest. "Vermont…"
Before I could finish, he leaned in and kissed me again. His hands tightened on my waist, grounding me as I felt myself leaning into him, losing myself in the moment. Later then his hands are now playing at the strings of my swimsuit.
When we finally pulled apart, the world seemed to stand still. Vermont’s forehead rested against mine, his breathing as unsteady as my own.
"Did that answer your question?" I teased softly, trying to calm the storm of emotions swirling inside me.
He chuckled, his lips curving into that boyish smile that always made my heart flutter. "I think it did."
As the kiss deepened, the world around us seemed to blur, leaving only the soft sway of the yacht and the quiet rhythm of the waves. Vermont’s hands were firm yet gentle as they held me close, grounding me in the whirlwind of emotions the is coming through.
Minutes after I just found myself clinging unto him. He was carrying me and my leg and firmly wrapped in his waist. He pulled back slightly, his lips still brushing against mine as he whispered,
"Queen, do you want to continue?" His voice was low and filled with hesitation, as though he was afraid to push too far. "Should we go further?"
I stared into his eyes. My heart raced as I nodded, barely able to find my voice. "Yes," I whispered, the single word is carrying more weight than I could explain.
He studied my face for a moment longer, as if making sure I was absolutely certain. I slightly chuckled and started kissing him. Then he started to walk towards one of the rooms below deck without breaking our kiss.
The room was modest but elegant, with a large bed and soft lighting that cast a warm glow across the space. Vermont turned to me, his expression gentle but serious. "If at any point you feel unsure, just tell me, okay?" He said as he out me on the bed.
I smiled, and nod at him. "I will,"
He cupped my face, his thumb brushing against my cheek as he kissed me again, slow and deliberate. There was no rush, no urgency—just the two of us, lost in the moment. His hands moved to my waist, pulling me closer as the kiss deepened.
I felt a flutter of nervousness but also an overwhelming sense of trust. Vermont always made me feel safe, and in this moment, I knew I could let my guard down completely.
As we continued, every touch, every whispered word, felt like a step closer to something deeper. The world outside ceased to exist, leaving only the quiet intimacy of the room and the unspoken connection between us.
I don't know what time is it but when I woke up all I could hear is the soft breath of Vermont and the harsh wave outside. I stared at his face that is so peaceful.
I gently trace his eyebrows, then his nose and his lips. He was so handsome.
"Do you like the view?" He said and I was surprised when he opens his eyes. "Do I still look handsome?"
"Psh." I rolled my eyes on him and he chuckled. He planted and a soft kiss on my lips.
"You hungry? Should we go back now?" He gently asked.
"I don't have the strength to move." I honestly said and he chuckled. I got annoyed and hit his chest.
"Aww, is my lovely girlfriend tired."
"Yeah, because of certain someone." I playfully rolled my eyes at him.
"But you did seem to enjoy it, you were—" I cover his mouth and I felt my cheeks heated. "What?" He said in a muffled sound.
"I hate you."
"Oh no, you don't." He softly said and pulled me into a hugged. I felt shy all of a sudden because we are still naked under the blanket.
"Please, stop teasing me." I said and buried my face on his chest. He just chuckled, clearly amused at my reactions. "Ver..." I said and pinch his arm.
"Pft. Okay, I'll stop."
"As you should." He kissed the topped of my head. "Let's stay for a while like this." I said and closed my eyes as I felt comfortable in our position. He kissed my head again.
"Okay, Miss Ma'am."
