Chapter 11 Sister vs. Brother

"Oh, Nini, you're here too? ... What's this... what did you do to Stefani?" Jane, Jonathan's elder sister, has always been on Stefani's side. She hugged the still blushing Stefani all while looking at Jonathan with a hard and accusing stare.
Jonathan, who was still wincing in pain, stood up and saw the two hugging each other. "Nothing. Why are you here?" Now there was another woman in his home, Jonathan wanted to flip tables. No wonder his phone irritatingly rang multiple times.
"Aw, this monkey's giving you a hard time, isn't he? Don't worry, Big Sister is here and will save you from the bad monkey," Jane cooed to Stefani whom she had always treated like a baby ever since they were kids. Jonathan was really an independent guy. Even when they were still young and Jane and Jonathan's parents were still alive, Jonathan had always been the person to do things with himself, not relying on anyone's help. Despite being the last child, he hated to be treated like a baby. So in the end, Jane chose Stefani and treated her as her little sister she could endlessly pamper and baby.
Stefani tightened her arms that were wrapped around Jane's hips. "Big Sister~~!"
Jane ruffled her hair fondly and Stefani smiled before sending a death glare at Jonathan, then back to smiling at Stefani once more.
Jonathan shook his head in disbelief. How come Stefani could be this sweet with other people but not to him? If only Stefani could also act cutely and sweetly to him as she did to his elder sister...
"And why am I here you ask? Of course it's because I missed little Nini," Jane teased her little brother and pulled Stefani closer, smiling sweetly at the youngest. This action made Jonathan's eyebrows twitch. Jane was silently laughing evilly inside. Having to watch your younger brother envy your position could really give you a wonderful feeling. "Oh and also, I'm here for your engagement party. It's in three days, right?"
Stefani instantly pulled away then looked at Jane confusedly. She then looked at Jonathan who just sighed then looked away.
"Nini.. Don't tell me you forgot about it?" Jane asked, looking at Stefani.
Stefani's mouth hung open as she looked at Jonathan who was now heading to his bathroom like nothing... like nothing big was about to happen in three days! How could he do this? And how could he not remind Stefani about this? They were together almost the entire day!
That was it, Stefani has decided. She was going to hate Jonathan her entire life. If she could, she would even follow Jonathan to hell and strangle him there.
Gritting her teeth, Stefani began glaring and cursing  Jonathan's back silently, muttering all the evil chants for bad luck to happen to Jonathan.
She clearly definitely absolutely unquestionably HATES this perverted alien monkey fiancé of hers after all!
Meanwhile, the four crazy friends of the bride-to-be were on their usual spot in a restaurant. The four decided to go home so they could give the husband and the wife a little privacy. They considered themselves very good friends of the wife since they even let the two have their own personal time together. Of course, all after they have finished watching TV, painting nails, applying lotion, and eating what Jonathan's fridge could offer.
"Do you think she's going to survive?" Dianne worriedly asked.
"Oh sure she will. How about we recall how mad his hubby looked? All I can say is.. I think she'd be all limping tomorrow," Bridget laughed evilly, clearly enjoying what was happening to her poor friend.
"I bet she'd have kiss marks all over," Ivy added more to the naughty discussion. Ivy and Bridget giggled at the thought, they really had the wildest imagination of all. This was probably due to the fact that these two were both fans of Love Love Me: Intense Romance, a popular novel site where handsome, possessive characters usually had deep and intense love for their beloved and caged them with their undying love for the other through intense physical activities. Definitely, they were intended for adult audiences.
"I'm just worried they'd fight because of us," Dianne, the most rational among the group, looked down, really feeling worried for Stefani.
Christina sighed then placed her coke float to the table, catching the three other girls' attention.
"You guys all saw how that Gonzalez guy looked at Stefani. You all noticed it too, right?"
The three girls nodded at Christina, now slowly realizing what she meant.
"Then there's nothing for us to worry about. Our friend's in good hands..." Christina confidently said and drank her float again. All of them grabbed fries spread on a tray on the table and started munching. Looking at the fries before them, everyone added in unison:
"...because that's how we look at our favorite food."
