"J-Jasmine?" He stuttered slightly. He suddenly felt weak seeing his loved one tied up to a tree. She seems to be in pain but showed no sign. He slow down his steps, wondering why she was tied up.
"Jasmine" he called but there was no response. He moved closer to her and tried to touch her but he couldn't. Why can't he touch her? He thought.
Is she an imagination? Or a task he is to accomplish. He doesn't seem to understand what is going on and could hear voices but could not see those talking.
The view suddenly disappeared and he wondered what is going on. He was returned to the beginning. He stood rooted to his spot, wondering what is going on.
Is this supposed to be his task? Or is there something Stella wants him to understand?
"Kelvin?" He heard Jasmine's voice and turned, only to see her dressed in a royal robe. She had the demon princess' crown on her head and he couldn't help but wondered how she became a demon princess.
She had no red eyes like them. Her emerald green eyes still shine so brightly and her white hair remains, but longer than it is in reality.
He wondered why she had the demon princess' crown on her head but nothing else shows she is now a demon. She looked older than she is now. Maybe four or five years older, he thought. Everywhere had turned into a garden and she seems to be looking for something or maybe someone.
"Kelvin?" She called again, staring at him and he waved at her but she ignored him. "Kelvin?" She called again. "Where are you?. Don't you think the hide and seek is enough?"
He batted his lashes. She wasn't referring to him. Is there another Kelvin aside from him?. Why can't Jasmine see him?
"Come on, love. I am leaving if you don't come out now" she said. He watched in awe as an older version of him showed up.
He must have used the invisible jinx or maybe the disappearing spell, he thought. He watched as his older version hugged Jasmine and he smiled.
Is this going to be his future with her?. Does that mean at the end, she will fall in love with him?. He watched them run around the garden.
Soon, everything faded, and the demon palace appeared. He walked through the palace, wondering what the witch wants him to find here. He saw his mom and his dad seated on their throne and his older version walked in. He was soon seated too.
"And where is your wife?" His mom asked and he smiled.
"She's asleep mother" He replied.
Kelvin batted his lashes in surprise. He is going to get married?. To who?
"The princess is here" one of the guards announced and someone walked in. At first, he couldn't get to see her face because of the ray of light that shuns into the palace. He could only see her white robe and her protruding stomach.
"Is she pregnant?. I mean my future wife?" He muttered to himself.
"Come sit here my darling angel," his older version said and he had to look in his direction. He gasped, seeing Jasmine's face. She had her demon princess crown on her head. He batted his lashes. Now he understands how she got the demon princess' crown.
Soon, she is going to get married to him and she will become a demon princess and also the future demon queen. He was happy to be shown these parts of his future but he still did not understand why they are been shown to him.
"Kelvin" a voice called and he looked around.
"Who is calling my name?" He asked.
"You don't need to know who I am but I know you so well. Everything you have seen is your future with Jasmine your mate" the voice said and Kelvin sighed. This is his future? But why is it been shown to them?.
"Why is my future being shown to me?" He asked the voice.
"To prepare you for your task" the voice replied
"What kind of task is meant for me?"
"You will be returned to the beginning, there you will be faced with your task," the voice said and everything began to change.
Kelvin was returned to the place where Jasmine was tied up. But this time, she had been loosed already. Her fingernails were longer than they were when she was tied. Her white hair was longer than it was before.
He suddenly began to see some write-ups which were being assimilated by Jasmine. The more the write-ups enter her body, the longer her fingernails and hair become. The writeups were increasing and she seems to be losing herself. He knew if she loses herself more than this, it will be a disaster for the world.
"Is there something I can do?" He thought, looking around.
"Your blood. Your blood will help her" a voice said and he furrowed his brows. How can his blood help her?.
"How can my blood help her?. What can I do?"
"Give her your blood" the voice replied.
"How can I do that?"
"Stretch your hand". Kelvin did as he was told and he felt pain in his hand. A bit of his blood came out of his hand and was transferred into Jasmine's mouth, making her fall to the ground. He fell to the ground too, losing consciousness completely.

Kelvin moved a bit and his eyes flung open. He could not remember where he is or why he is on the floor. He suddenly remembered he was still in the waterfall and Is yet to undergo his task. He dragged himself from the ground and turned around to see Jasmine lying on the floor too.
He ran to meet her and raised her. He was surprised he was able to touch her. She opened her eyes slowly.
"Kelvin?" She called and he batted his lashes.
"You can see me?" He asked and she sat up.
"Am I not supposed to see you?" She asked and he sighed.
"Maybe you are" he answered, standing up. He dusted his body. "Have you done your task?. What are you doing in my waterfall?" He asked and she furrowed her brows.
"What are you talking about?"
"I..." He began to hear voices, making him stop talking. He wondered who was talking. "Jasmine did you..." Jasmine's scream made him stop talking and turn to look at her.
She kept screaming and moving backward. He tried to move closer to her but he couldn't. There was a shield blocking him from getting closer to her.
"Jasmine!!!" He yelled but she couldn't hear him. The voices were getting louder, covering his voice up. And the louder the voices become, the louder her scream. He soon realized that those voices are the ones tormenting her.
He began to see demons moving closer to Jasmine. Demons were the ones tormenting her and he couldn't watch it. He tried to move closer to her again but he couldn't.
"You can't get closer to her," a voice said and he scoffed. He can't?. There is nothing he can do to help her?. He hates to see her being tormented and he can do nothing. Why can't he help her?
"Kelvin? Can you hear me?" A voice that sounded like Stella's said and he furrowed his brows.
"Stella? Is that you?"
"Yes. Now listen to me because there is not much time left. You can see Jasmine being tormented right?"
"Yes. Why can't I get close to her? Why can't I help her?"
"Because it is your task. Your task is to watch her overcome the demons herself without offering any help. You can't help her with your power, no matter how hurtful she looks. It will destroy her"
He batted his lashes. Stella wants him to watch Jasmine being tormented without helping her?.
"Y-you want me to watch her?"
"If you help her, you will be trapped here forever. It will also affect the real Jasmine too. All you need to do is watch her overcome the demons herself. You can't speak to her either"
"How long will I have to do that?"
"An hour. If you succeed, you will get the pass. Your time starts after my voice fades" Stella said. Kelvin sat on the floor watching Jasmine being tormented and he could do nothing.

Kelvin can't say how long he had sat there staring at Jasmine or how long more he would have to sit and watch her. He had been tempted so many times to use his power but he had to restrain himself, not for his sake but her sake.
He doesn't mind being trapped here forever if that will help her but the fact that Stella told him if he helps her, she will be affected in reality, made him restrain himself. He can't let her get hurt, no matter what.
Watching her being tormented and not being able to help her, had made him cry. And when he heard the sound of the clock, indicating that his task has been fulfilled, he stood up quickly and ran towards her, just when she disappeared. He knelt and wept.
"You have done a great job Kelvin. Stretched your hand and take the pass, after which you will be taken to join others. Congratulations," Stella said.
Kelvin did as he was told and he return to join the others. He saw Jabal and Ariana standing beside each other while Jasmine stood alone. Without having a second thought, he ran towards her and hugged her.
"I love you, Jasmine, and I can't bear to lose you," he said and Jasmine gasped.

JAMAL
Jamal's water had remained green as he walked through it. He wondered what his task would be. Unlike Jabal, Ryan, and Kelvin who had someone they are in love with and who can be used to threaten them, he had no one he is in love with. None he could remember. He hasn't met his mate yet and had no thought of meeting her soon.
He also does not have any enemy that can be used against him. This made him wonder if he will be given a task.
The waterfall began to change its color. Jamal stood rooted to his spot. Soon, he found himself in the middle of a thick forest. He could see people attacking each other and he wondered what was going on.
"Jamal" Jabal called, looking at him. He wondered if Jabal can see him. "Attack," Jabal said and he made to attack when he saw another version of him, dressed in battled clothes, run past him.
He laughed so hard at himself. He had no weapon to attack with and had to watch as his other version fought so hard until victory.
There were so many packs attacking them and how they were able to win the battle was not shown to him.
"Long live the alpha. Long live the alpha of all alphas" the alphas said and Jabal was thrown up. Jamal wondered why Jabal's future was been shown to him.
Is it to make him feel jealous? He thought. Or what could be his task here?.
"I am choosing Jamal as my beta" Jabal announced and Jamal widened his eyes. D-did Jabal just chose him as his beta?.
"Long live the beta of all alphas" the alphas cooed and Jamal smiled. He is going to be great too but what task awaits him.
He was soon taken to another part of his future. Peace had completely returned to the world and everything seems normal. He could see the older version of himself moving about. That should be him in his mid-twenties. He is just sixteen now and will be seventeen soon. A young lady in her early twenties walked up to his older version. She had a mask on and he wondered why.
"My love" she cooed and he batted his lashes. Is that supposed to be his mate? Why can't he see her face?.
"Because she has not been shown to you yet" a voice answered.
"Alpha Jabal seeks your presence," she said. He watched them walk into Jabal's office. He was seated going through a file.
"You seek my presence, brother," he asked.
"Yes. Please sit". Jamal moved closer to them so he could hear their conversation, as his older version sits. "You've been a great beta to me, Jamal. I think it's time you stand on your own"
"What do you mean brother?"
"The Lycan pack that was conquered some days ago, I want you to choose a space and take them with you, alongside other pack members that are devoted to you. Start a new pack. I will support you with resources. Conquer more packs and become great too"
"Have I done anything wrong to you, brother?. That you are so desperate to make me leave?"
Jabal smiled. "You have done nothing wrong, my brother. You deserve to rule too. Do as I said, Jamal. I will pronounce you as an alpha in seven days"
It was surprising to Jamal to watch what his future will be like.
"This is your future, Jamal. You have to support Jabal and make him the alpha of all alphas. Then you will become an alpha too"
"What about my task?" He asked.
"You don't have a task here" the voice replied.
"Why..."
"Jamal?" Stella called.
"Stella?"
"That is me"
"What is going on?. Do I not have a task here?"
"No, you don't. Stretch your hand and take your pass, Jamal. Your task is not here, your task is in Alaska Aria" Stella said and he batted his lashes. What does Stella mean?
