"Should we not go on with Jasmine's plan? I think that will be better and faster" Ryan suggested but Kelvin went against it immediately.
"We can't hurt them because we want to get information from them" he insisted. "We must wait until there is a better plan"
"How long are we going to wait?" Jasmine asked. "Until the book is taken away from Ryan? Or until he gets killed"
Jasmine was more passionate about losing Ryan.
"Do you want to lose the trust of all the Alphas of these packs over just one person?" Kelvin yelled. They were taken by surprise. Jabal stared at him. "I am sorry" he muttered. "What I am saying is that we can't force them to speak. Let's give them some time. I am sure they will cooperate"
Jasmine sighed. She is beginning to suspect Kelvin. His attitude these days is suspicious. Ariana, just as Jasmine suspected Kelvin's attitude. That was his first time going against their decision. She could also see the fear in his eyes and she wondered what he had done and is trying to hide.
"What do the rest of you suggest?" Jabal asked.
"Let's give them some time," Jasmine said and Jabal stared at her.
He is also suspecting Kelvin's strange attitude and had asked that question because he wanted them to go against his idea. Surprisingly, no one did.
"Are you sure you want us to give them some time?"
"I think it is a good idea," Ryan said.
Jabal sighed. If everyone agrees that they give them some time, he can't go against it. "Then we will give them some time"
They ended the meeting without coming up with a plan and in the end, they decided to wait.

Jasmine kept thinking about Kelvin's attitude. She spaced around her room thinking of what to do. She had spoken to Ariana who also confirmed she has been suspecting him too.
"What are you going to do?" Ariana asked her.
"Do you think I should trust him like I trusted Ryan?" she asked.
"How about you speak to him first? Maybe we are the ones who misunderstood him" Ariana suggested.
Jasmine agreed to what Ariana suggested, so she headed for his tent. At first, she stood by his door contemplating whether to go in or not. She finally decided to go in and opened the door slowly only to realize he was on a phone call. She wanted to go back but when she heard him say something about the Ice pack Alpha, she decided to stay back to hear what he has to say. She was shocked when she heard him say something like.
"I kept my part of the bargain. You should too. I told you he is the carrier of the book. Why did you not end his life when you had the chance? That was the reason I brought him to you. Yes, I will find a way to get you into the territory. Those witches have created a barrier. You must get me the book no matter what. No, You know what I can do". Jasmine could feel a strong Alpha aura as he spoke. Kelvin is not a werewolf. Why does he have an alpha aura? "They do not suspect yet. I will send you back to their midst. Make sure you get the book this time. I will spare her. I can't promise you that I will spare her twins. Is her twins not the one you want?"
Jasmine gasped. This is not Kelvin speaking. Kelvin had betrayed them. Now she understands why he has been acting strange. She ran off to tell Ariana and the rest about it. They might need to make a plan as soon as possible. Everyone was surprised at what Jasmine told them. It was surprising to them that the one they had called Kelvin wasn't Kelvin. They could not believe either that Kelvin betray them. They decided to come up with a plan.
Despite having a short time, they were able to come up with a plan. They accepted the plan and began to work on them. First, Jasmine and Ariana were to create a barrier to prevent the Ice pack Alpha was leaving. They also agreed to attack, the following day by noon. They agreed not to show that they knew Kelvin wasn't the one with them. Every one of them, returned to their various activities while Jasmine returned to her tent to ponder on the plan. Somewhat, she felt the plan might fail.
She feared they might not succeed and conquer the Ice pack Alpha. She doesn't know why but she could tell something was wrong with the plan they had chosen. Kelvin knows them well. He knows every of their plan, even the possible ones. She thought about it and decided she doesn't need to involve the rest. She can carry out a new plan with Ariana alone. She went in search of Ariana.
"I think we need to change the plan," she said.
"I have been thinking about it too. Do you have a plan?"
Jasmine nodded. "I think I do"
Jasmine explained to Ariana what her plan was and Ariana loved it.
"It is a very good idea," she said. "Are you telling Jabal about it?"
"We can't. We must out about it ourselves"
Ariana nodded. It will become crowded if they tell the rest about it. "We can carry it out, just the two of us"
Jasmine nodded. "Let's us"

Jasmine and Ariana got the information they needed from the Alphas they had caught. It was all a planned up work. There she found out Kelvin was never her mate from the onset. She could understand why she keep having feelings for Ryan. Kelvin's uncle has been using him and he doesn't know about it. And the Ice pack Alpha they had thought was the one behind all this was not. Kelvin did not betray them. He was been used by his uncle who had used her to threaten him. She wondered if Stella knew about all these and had said nothing about it. They also found out that the one they had called the Ice pack Alpha was the Alpha of the Riverline pack. And the Ice pack Alpha's identity was never exposed. They found out Kelvin has been the one giving out every of their information to his uncle. They also found out that the Kelvin they had with them was not the Kelvin they knew. There was a witch who helped the Ice pack Alpha to take up the face of Kelvin. Though they know a little about this, they were still surprised. With all the information they had gathered. They called for an emergency meeting. They must end this now so they can finally destroy the book.
Jasmine suggested she go and face Kelvin's uncle and get Kelvin out of his hands. Everyone was surprised she wanted to go face Kelvin's uncle. Though they know she could do it, they worried for no reason. Jabal looked at Ryan to know if he should let her go, but he couldn't say no. Though he wanted badly to say no. To stand his ground that someone else should go. But he knew Jasmine is very stubborn and will not agree even if he says no. He also looked around the room and realized there is no other person that can go except Ariana. Jabal wanted someone else to go but he realized he doesn't want to lose any of them either. He realized in as much as he love Ella, he love every one of them too. And the work to be done must be done by one of them. He wouldn't risk letting someone else do it.
"If you want to, you can," Jabal said.
The meeting ended, and Ariana dragged Jasmine to her tent.
"Are you out of your mind?" she asked.
"What were you thinking when you thought of that?"
"That's my way of helping" Jasmine answered sitting on the bed.
"Don't you know how risky that is? Kelvin might still like you but that doesn't mean he can't hurt you"
"But we need to save Kelvin. We can't leave him in the hands of his uncle"
"How do you plan to do it? I mean save him?"
Jasmine sighed. "I don't know yet but I will find a way"
"Just be careful," Ariana said.
"I will". Jasmine's eyes widened. "How about we cast a spell?"
Ariana furrowed her brows. "What do you mean?"
"We will cast a spell on everyone involved. Make them come here on their own and we attack"
Ariana chuckled. "That sounds like a good idea"

THE ICE PACK UNKNOWN HIDEOUT
The Riverline pack Alpha stood by the window, watching the view in front of him. That has been his tradition every morning when he wakes up. He goes straight to the window to watch the garden, a few meters away from his packhouse. He loves the way the morning glory flowers open every morning. It's proof of a beautiful morning. A little smile escaped his lips and he quickly concealed it. As if remembering something, he turned swiftly. What is so good about this morning? Nothing!!. Not with the news he received yesterday.
His informant from the children's pack had sent a message to him telling him of the children's next move. He needed to make a move first or his identity will be exposed. No one knew him as the Riverline pack Alpha but as the Ice pack Alpha. They did not suspect there was someone else behind him. He groaned and went to seat on the couch. He should place a call to Martins, his right-hand man. He needed to know the update, if they are to attack or not, so he can relate it to his boss, the Ice pack Alpha. He must have a concrete plan to give to him or his head will be rolling on the floor. He stood up and went to pick up his phone. There was a knock on the door and he groaned. This is not the time he wants to meet anyone.
"Who is there?" he asked.
"It's Martins" he heard.
Perfect timing, the Riverline pack Alpha thought.
"Come in. I was about to call you". Martians walked in. "What is the news?"
"They are planning to use their powers to make them confess," Martins said. "But it was stopped by our man"
He groaned. "I heard the news. Did he say what their next plan is?"
"No plans yet. They seem to suspect him already"
He groaned. Things are not going the way he wants them to. He needs to act fast or his boss will lash out at him.
"We are going to attack them and rescue all the Alphas they had taken"
"Isn't that risky? The boss will not be happy with it"
The Alpha scoffed. "Do you want us to risk them telling on us? Get the man ready. We leave in thirty minutes"
Martins left and in a few minutes, he returned. "Everything is set," he said.
"And the men?"
"Arden has taken them to the place"
He sighed. "Let's go"
They entered the car and drive down to the location of Jasmine and the rest. The car soon stopped and they stepped out. As Martians had said, Arden and twenty of his warriors were already in position, waiting.
"You're here boss" Arden bowed.
The Alpha smirked. "Of course I am. What's the update?"
"Everyone of them is asleep"
He groaned. "I don't want them asleep. We ain't killing them silently, ok?"
"Boss, I thought we are here to rescue the Alpha. Don't you think it is best if they are asleep? We do not have business with the kids. Do if?"
The Alpha frowned. "We are not just here to save the Alphas. We are here to kill every one of them and take the book"
"But we..."
"We wake them up now. It's bad to kill them in their sleep"
"They are powerful. We can't rusk it"
"They can't overpower us, trust me"
Arden suspected there was something wrong with the Alpha or he would not have risked coming here.
"Boss..."
"Now!!!" he yelled as him
He bowed. "Yes, boss"
He smiled. "Good"
Silence returned as darkness overcome the area. You could hardly see what was beside you or in front of you. You can't tell what's behind you either. Thanks to his werewolf eyes, he was able to see clearly. He smiled. His dream is about to come true and he is about to show them that they shouldn't mess with him.
"Warriors, let's go now!! Kill every soul you see. But do not touch the women and children!!" he ordered.
"Yes, Alpha" they answered
"Alpha should we launch an attack from the ariel?" Martins asked
He nodded. "Be alert, every one of you!!"
"Yes, Alpha'
They marched into the territory but they were surprised they were already waiting for them. Jasmine and the rest were already waiting for them. Soon, there was a clashing of the swords and they were soon defeated. Jabal and the rest dragged them to the place they kept the rest.

It was a victory for Jasmine and the rest. Not only did they succeed in getting the Riverline pack Alpha. They also caught the Ice pack Alpha. Jabal found out the location of Kelvin's uncle and he briefed Jasmine about it. He told her he had also gone there to see what the place looked like. He gave her every piece of information he thought to be useful.
"I will need to go there myself" that was Jasmine answered
"But you know Ryan won't let you" he answered
"He doesn't have to know about it"
"i..."
"You can go with me just in case"
He sighed. "Ok. We will go"
"Thank you" she cooed and went to get dressed. She finished up quickly, and they headed to the place together. When they got there, they stood some distance away.
"It's safer here," Jabal said
Jasmine brought out her pen and book and began to jolt down.
"There are so many men on guard. We will need to bring more men"
"Yeah"
"They seem to be well-trained warriors and will be good at the use of sword"
"How do you know that?" Jabal asked. She smiled and he muttered an oh. "Werewolf instinct"
"Jabal" Jasmine called. "Do you know why Ryan wants me to map out the plan instead of him?"
"No. Do you think there is a reason?"
I shrugged. "I don't know"
"Did anything happen between you two?"
She raised my brows. "Did he tell you anything?"
"No?"
"Then why did you ask?"
"He's been acting strangely for some days now. I have been meaning to ask. Did he sleep in your tent, some days ago?? I couldn't find him in his tent that day and he wouldn't tell me where he went to"
"H-he...". I pointed. "Look, that is Kelvin's uncle right?" Jasmine asked, glad there was something to disrupt our discussion.
"Yes"
"His face looks familiar but I don't know where I met him"
"You do?"
Jasmine nodded. "Yes, I think I remember. That should be like a year or two ago. I sure have good eyes"
"You haven't told me where you saw him"
"I will tell you when we get home"
"Are you sure?"
She nodded. "Yes
They returned and Jasmine headed to her tent.
"Jasmine" she heard.
"Ariana?"
"Yes. Can I come in?"
Jasmine sighed. "Yes you can"
Ariana walked in. "You look sad. Were you expecting to see someone different?"
"No?"
"Well, you look disappointed to see me"
"No. I just... Nevermind"
"Are you sure you are not expecting Ryan?"
Jasmine scoffed. "You think I do?"
She nodded. "Yes"
Jasmine scoffed. "Is that not a mark on your neck?"
Ariana furrowed her brows. "Mark? No"
"There is a mark on your neck". She placed her hand on her neck, touching it. She groaned. "Did Jabal mark you already?"
"No. I got that doing the fight"
"I thought he marked you already"
Ariana chuckled. "Should you not be the one to worry about Ryan marking you?"
Jasmine sighed. "We should not be thinking about that yet"
"Are you blushing?" Ariana asked and she scoffed.
"I am not"
"You are"
"I am not"
"Of course you are"
Jasmine scoffed. "Whatever"
Ariana smiled. "What do you plan to do?"
Jasmine furrowed her brows. "About what?"
"Kelvin's uncle. You don't plan to use your power on him, do you? I heard he has witches working for him"
"I heard that too. But I have a plan already"
Ariana nodded. "I know you will"

Jasmine left the new pack they had name Silvermoon pack, after their parent's pack, while the rest of us got ready to meet her. They had agreed to meet at the space outside the Silver pack territory. They were to wait in ambush and come out only when she signals them. They followed the instructions and waited for her. They waited for an hour and she wasn't coming out. Ryan began to fear Kelvin's uncle must have found out about the plan and held her back. Jabal noticed his fear and assured him that Jasmine would be fine. He told him Jasmine is very smart and must have stayed back to prevent some things.
Ryan tried as much as he could to believe him. To believe she is fine. A few minutes later, he saw her walk out of the gate with Kelvin's uncle. Did her spell work on him? Ryan wondered. Or did he cast a spell on Jasmine? They were with twenty other men. Jasmine mind-linked Jabak and that was when he realized she stayed back to let them know they might not be coming out alone. That must be her secret way of sending messages to him.
They waited for a while until they heard her signal. They came out, surrounding them. Kelvin's uncle put up a fight. His men lunged toward them with a snarling fit for a threatened tiger. They lunged towards them too. Kelvin's uncle held Jasmine and had plans to use her to make them fight but just as they knew, Jasmine is smart.
In the end, they caught him and his men. Jasmine wanted to kill him on the spot to vent her anger and hatred on him but Jabal held him. "W-what are you doing?" she asked stuttering vigorously due to my anger.
"We don't know where Kelvin is yet. We must find him"
"I will find Kelvin", Jasmine said. "Just let me end his life"
"You can't. We must hand him over to the demon King. He should carry out the judgment himself"
"How are we going to get to them? We are far away from them"
"I already sent a message to them. They should be here soon"
Jasmine sighed. "We must find Kelvin before them"
Jabal nodded. "We must"
"I will go back in and see if he is being tired up"
"Go in with some men"
Jasmine assured Jabal she will be fine and left in search of Kelvin.
