He had won the battle. He had defeated all the alphas present. Jabal wondered what was going on. Why are they calling him the alpha of all alphas? Why are they bowing to him?
"Hail the alpha of all alphas" they cooed loudly in unison.
His victory must have been the reason why he was called the alpha of all alphas.
Could this be the future that awaits him? Or the result of his imagination? He had never thought that a time like this would come.
"This is your victory, Jabal. You are the alpha of all alphas. The world has known you. You are now famous" a voice said.
He looked around wondering who had said those words to him. He was lifted off his feet by the alphas and thrown up. He could tell it was the celebration of a new beginning and power.
He wondered if this was supposed to be his future or his past?. Or just an image he had in his mind.
"This is your future, Jabal. The future that awaits you. You will be the greatest of all alphas that have ever existed. It is your future Jabal" the same voice repeated as everything began to disappear.
He wondered why things were disappearing when it was supposed to be his future. Could it be that his future will disappear in his eyes?
Or could it be that his future is been threatened? He was further taken into his future, like fifteen years later. The world was peaceful and he had won a lot of battles. By his side was Ariana, who has helped him be who he was now. His name had spread abroad. He could see Jasmine too but he could not tell why she has appeared in his future.
"The peaceful world is your future. You will return peace to the world. That is your destiny. Ariana, your mate will help you out on your journey. She is the true luna of the Silvermoon pack and will bore you pups that will become great and mighty. Your destiny is intertwined with hers. She is going to be your savior" a voice said.
He was yet to understand what was going on. Why is his future been shown to him?. How will Ariana help him on his journey?. And despite not knowing why his future was shown to him, he still loves everything that he saw.
To know that he has a bright future, with Ariana by his side, was something to be joyful about. The view disappeared and the waterfall returned.
He heard voices and he looked around. He was in the red-haired witches' coven. Everything seems normal, as they moved about doing their daily activities.
He saw Ariana standing beside the garden, her red hair, been spread apart by the wind. She looked beautiful in her red flowing gown. She has a crown on her head and he wondered what she is doing here when she is supposed to be by his side in his future. Two other witches stood beside her. He recognized one of them to be Anna but the other he couldn't recognize.
He heard Anna call her queen and he furrowed his brows. If Ariana becomes the queen of the red-haired witches, how can she become his luna who will be by his side?. How will she help him out on his journey? If she is the true luna of the Silvermoon pack and will bore him pups that will become great and mighty, how will she do that if she is the queen of the red-haired wishes?
If his destiny is intertwined with hers, and she is going to be his savior, does that not mean she will need to forfeit being the queen of the red-haired witches?.
He watched her walk around happily, while everyone bowed to her.
"The queen is walking by"
Some young ladies said.
"Long hail the queen"
Others cooed, bowing. He watched in admiration, how happy Ariana is. She won't just be the queen of the red-haired witches. She will also rule the other covers too. She will be famous. He can't let her lose an opportunity like this for his selfish interest or can he?. He heard the voice again.
"This is Ariana's future without you on it. She will become the queen of the red-haired witches if she refuses to go with you. She will become the ruler of the covens. Her future is bright. But for her to help you, she will have to forfeit all these to be with you. Do you really, want her to forfeit her dream for you?"
Jabal batted his lashes. Is this his task?. To choose if Ariana should forfeit her dream for him? Or he should let her fulfill her dream?
He frowned. Of course, he would let her fulfill her dream. He isn't selfish enough to want to deprive her of what she has always dreamt of. He can't stop her from fulfilling her dream, never.
"Jabal?" Stella called and he batted his lashes.
"Stella, is that you?" He asked.
"Yes. It's me. Now listen carefully because you don't have much time. You have seen your future with Ariana in it and her future without you in it?"
"Yes, I did"
"Good. Now listen. You have to choose to either let her go or not. If you choose the wrong option you will be trapped here forever. You need her to help you bring peace to the world. She will help you walk through the crooked parts, but will only prevent her from being who she is destiny to be. Remember, with or without her, peace will return to the world"
He blinked.
"I already made my choice. I forfeit..."
"You can't make a choice just yet. A time will come when you can do that. Think carefully Jabal. The peace of the world and Ariana's destiny is in your hand. Choose wisely"
"How long do I have to make my choice?"
"Less than an hour. After my voice fades, the two futures will appear in front of you. When you make your choice, walk into the future you have chosen. Your time starts now" Stella's voice faded.
He was left to make a choice. The two futures appeared just like Stella said. He sat down, thinking of the perfect choice to make. His mind kept picking Ariana's future over his.
He doesn't want to betray her. He doesn't want to be selfish. While he thinks, the time ticks slowly. It was difficult to make a different choice.
He suddenly remembered what Sella has said. With or without Ariana peace will return to the world. Isn't it suppose to be with or without him?.
Ariana is to help him bring peace to the world if she stays by his side. She appeared in his future and she looks happy. But if she becomes the queen of the red-haired witches, it definitely, means one thing. He is going to die. That is the only reason he did not appear in hers.
What about Jasmine who had appeared in his future but did not appear in hers? Does that mean she will die too if he let Ariana fulfill her dream?
He is to bring peace to the world and if he dies though peace will return it may take a longer time. He batted his lashes. If he chooses Ariana to fulfill her dream, he is selfish. He is putting himself before others.
He can't let Ariana choose her dream over the peace of the world.
"I am sorry, Ariana. I can't let you go. Not for myself, but the peace of the world". He said and walked into his future, just when the last sound tick.
Everything began to disappear and he wondered if he had made the right choice.
"Congratulations, Jabal. You have made the right choice. You thought you have chosen yourself over her. But you have chosen the peace of the world over your peace. You can now have your pass and then return. Stretch your hand, Jabal and take the pass" Stella said to him.
He stretched his hand and felt something touch his hand and a key sign appeared on his palm.
"You can now return, Jabal, and await the rest," Stella said. He stared at his palm which glows. "Take a step backward. The door will be open. Follow through the waterfall, back to the beginning"
"Stella I have a question"
"What is the question?"
"I will like to see what will become of me if I had chosen Ariana's dream over mine"
Stella sighed.
"I will be quick about it. I will return you to the part where Ariana stood with Anna and another witch. There you will find the truth you desire"
Jabal was returned to the garden. They were having a conversation and he was curious to know what they were talking about. Knowing they can't see him, he moved closer to them to listen to what they are saying.
"Did you hear what has become your mate?" Anna asked and he furrowed his brows. Did something happen to him?
"He lost the battle and his life. And jasmine his sister has lost her sanity" the other witch said and he batted his lashes. He was right. He is going to die.
"I should have chosen him" Ariana cried.
He watched her bring out a silver knife and right there she ended her life. He was returned to the present and he wept. If he had chosen Ariana, she would have ended her life because of him
"You should return now," Stella said. He returned to see Jasmine and Ariana standing. He ran to Ariana and hugged her.
"Trust me, I won't betray you. Just promise me, you will stand by me and not leave me"
Ariana sighed.
"I promise"

KELVIN
Kelvin's waterfall is blue which he had chosen because he saw Jasmine's face in it. Little did he know that his task is her. Would he be able to hurt her to help her gain control of herself once more?
When the time comes and she loses control of her power will he be able to ignore her just to help her become a better person? Would he be able to watch her in pain and not use his power to utter the balance of her life?
His blood will help her control herself but that blood will increase the demons tormenting her. Her ability to control these demons will help her control her power. But how long can he ignore her?
That was his task. To watch the one he loves in pain and not do a thing. He never knew that was his task.
When he first got into the waterfall, everything was calm. He could hear the sound of the waters as they fall upon the leaves.
He wondered what he was supposed to learn or do in a situation like this. This was his first time having to undergo a task by a witch.
He had heard stories of how witches' test has always been the hardest to pass. He heard their puzzles were always so hard you will think about losing your life.
He wondered if he would be able to pass whichever task was given to him. He took a few steps through, enjoying the view.
He suddenly came to a stop when he had a noise. The voice was far away and yet loud enough to know that whosoever it is, was in deep pain.
He walked towards the direction of the sound but the more he walked the farther it seems to become. The voice was getting closer and louder.
Why is he not getting closer to the voice?. He wondered if this was his task. But what could the task be? That he learn how to be patient?
He was becoming tired of walking on a path with no end. He wondered how long he would have to walk until he gets to the end.
"Kelvin?" He heard his name in a whisper and wondered who had called his name. He looked around but he could not see anyone. "Kelvin" the voice called again.
He stopped walking wondering what is going on. Who could be calling his name? And why? Why can't he see his or her face?
The voice stopped and he continued on his journey. He wasn't sure if he was going in the direction of the noise or if he was just walking on a path he doesn't know.
He saw someone tied afar off and he ran towards the person. His eyes widened in shock when he saw Jasmine being tied up.
