What prophecy is the witch talking about?
"You don't have to worry. I don't know how true the prophecy is. That is the reason I was to speak to your mother" Ryan told her.
"Did she say what prophecy it will be?" Jasmine asked and Ryan shook his head.
"No. She was about to say something about the book but her voice faded away and I woke up"
Jasmine sighed. "When do you plan to go and see my mother?"
"Tomorrow"
She nodded. "I will go with you"

Before their visit to the earth witches' coven, Jasmine had sent a message to her mother. She had also briefed her about their visit. She knows well that the others will not be comfortable with their visit, so she wanted the visit to be as brief as possible.
"Do you think the rest will be happy with our visit?" Ryan asked her on their way there.
"I can't say" she answered. "But I don't think they will do anything. They only suspect you, they have no proof yet". Ryan sighed. He doesn't want their visit to cause a problem for anyone. Jasmine held his hand. "I know you are worried but you don't have to. They won't do anything to you. And even if they try to, I will stop them"
Ryan laughed. The way Jasmine supports him and tries to keep him safe surprises him.
"You don't have feelings for me anymore. Do you? If you keep treating me this way, I might not be able to stop loving you" he teased but that got Jasmine thinking if he was right.
Right about still having feelings for him. Could that be the reason she wants to protect him? The reason she trusted him even when others does not?
"Jasmine?" he called jolting her out of her thought. "Are you ok?" he asked and she nodded.
"I am fine"
There was silence until they got to the earth witches' coven. Without going to see the rest, they went to meet Emerald.
"I received your message," Emerald said after they settled down. "Ryan, can you explain the dream in detail?"
Jasmine stood up. "I will take a stroll. You should feel free to talk to her"
Ryan held her hand. "Don't go"
Emerald who had been watching what was going on spoke up. "Ryan, let her go". Jasmine left the room and Emerald moved closer to him. "Jasmine explained what is going on with you and the rest"
Ryan sighed. "Do you think I will betray them too?"
Emerald smiled. "I understand that they do not trust you because of what happened with your father and Rose. But Jasmine trusts you. Isn't that enough?"
"I feel sad she has to leave here because of me"
"But she is not complaining about it"
"But I am not comfortable with it"
Emerald smiled. "She wants to find out the truth. All you can do is prove that she is right and don't make her regret trusting you"
"I promise I won't let her down and that I will find out whoever is behind this"
Emerald nodded. For some reason, she believed him. "What is the dream you had?" she asked.
"I saw a witch" he began. "She had white hair just like Jasmine. She said she is the first white witch and the writer of the great book, of the witches"
"Did she tell you her name?"
Ryan nodded. "Amaya. She said she is the first pure witch to have ever existed"
Emerald blinked. Could Ryan be telling the truth?
"What is the message she wants you to deliver to me?"
"She said there is a change in the prophecy"
Emerald furrowed her brows. What prophecy? There had been so many prophecies. Which prophecy is Amaya referring to?
"Did she say the prophecy?"
He shook his head. "No. She only said it has to do with the book and she will be visiting you soon. She also said there will be a new prophecy soon and the one who is supposed to be will not be and the one who is not will be"
Emerald could not understand what the dream meant and why Ryan was chosen to relay the dream.
"Did she say anything to you? Not about the book or the prophecy"
"That my dream will come true and that I will get what I desire because my fate has been changed"
"What do you desire, Ryan?" Emerald asked.
"A mate" he answered.
"Then I guess you will be meeting with your mate soon," Emerald said with a smile.
"I just remembered something"
"What is it?"
"Amaya said that the fate of the hybrid twins has changed and one of them will lose a thing and regain another". Emerald furrowed her brows. Why will Amaya say that?
"Do you know what that means? I am afraid something bad will happen to Jasmine and Jabal"
Emerald smiled. "The dream is not clear yet. So do not worry about anything. I will await Amaya's visit and let you know what the dream is about"
Ryan nodded. "Thanks, Emerald" he cooed. Emerald smiled. "Can I ask for a favor?"
"What favor?"
"Jasmine should not know about my desire"
She smiled. "Do you think she still loves you?"
He nodded but furrowed her brows. "How did you know?"
Emerald smiled. "That you both love each other? It's obvious"
Ryan sighed. "Too bad we are not mates"
Emerald patted him. "The moon goddess will bless you with a mate soon"
"You think so?"
Emerald nodded. "Yes"
Jasmine walked in. "Did I enter at the wrong time?" she asked.
"No. I think you entered just right in time. We are done talking. Did you meet with the rest?" Emerald asked.
"No" she lied.
"Why? You don't want to meet with them yet?"
She shrugged. "They don't want to meet with me either"
Emerald stared at her daughter and she could tell she was lying. Something had happened between her and the rest but she doesn't want to say anything about it.
"Are you leaving now?" Emerald asked and Jasmine nodded. "Then let me see you before you leave. Ryan, can you excuse us?"
Ryan stood up. "I will be waiting outside"
After Ryan left, Emerald gestured to Jasmine to come over.
"Tell me, did you meet with the rest?". She stared at her mother. "You don't want to talk about it, just yet?". Jasmine nodded and Emerald smiled. "You can always tell me when you are ready"
Jasmine tried to fake a smile. "Thanks, mother"
"And you will always have my shoulder to cry on"
Somehow, Emerald could feel the pain in her daughter's heart. Though he can not say what had transpired between her and the rest, she could tell how hurtful it is but she trusted Jasmine to make the right decision and if staying with Ryan is what she thinks is right, she will support her.
Jasmine hugged her and for the first time, she cried on her mother's shoulder. Emerald allowed her to cry until she was satisfied. She sniffed and wiped her face.
"Do you feel better now?" Emerald asked and she nodded.
"Yes"
Emerald placed her hand on Jasmine's face. She doesn't know what has happened to Jasmine and why she feels so bitter. She doesn't know if it has anything to do with thr dream Ryan had. She also is not sure if the fate that is said to have been changed belongs to Jasmine or Jabal yet and if the dream is a real one. Though she is worried about them, all she can do right now is smile and assure them that everything will be fine.
"You will be fine ok?" she told Jasmine.
"I should leave now. Ryan will be waiting"
Emerald waved at her. "Take care of yourself and Ryan, ok?"
She nodded. She doesn't have any other option but to take care of him. Because she might be losing something that might be precious to her.

Jasmine walked through the garden. She has a lot to think about but Ryan's presence would not let her. She doesn't want him to see her sad and blame himself. She sat on the bench she saw and sighed. Yesterday, when she visited the rest, they insisted she stayed back but she refused. They had yelled at themselves and she has walked out on them. She had been thinking about it and she could remember vividly the conversation she had with them.
"Why do you insist on going with him? Why?" Ariana had asked.
"Should I have left him as the rest of you did? Should I?"
"No one left him. He decided to return to the Munar pack" Jabal answered.
"And none of you asked why. Did you?" Jasmine asked.
"Why should we ask why? Isn't he a member of the lunar pack?" Kelvin asked.
"Kelvin? Even you? You have always followed him to his packhouse. But you did not when he needed you most? Why? Because you believe he is the one after the book?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Kelvin asked. "Why are you the only one not getting it"
"I am so disappointed in every one of you. Are we supposed to believe the witch or ourselves?"
"Jasmine, the witch..."
"Yes, she pointed at Ryan. But no one knows who it will be"
"It is obvious it is him," Jabal said. "Can't you see he is trying to cause problems among us?"
Jasmine scoffed. "You are the ones trying to create a problem that doesn't exist. You fail to realize what the witch wanted to happen amidst us and how she has succeeded"
"You are the one who has decided to ignore the truth because you ads blinded by your love for him," Jabal said.
Jasmine, scoffed. "You can believe what you want to but I am not coming back until I prove to you that Ryan is innocent," she said and turned to leave.
"Jasmine, I understand that you love him but that should not blind you from seeing the truth," Kelvin said and she frowned.
"Every one of you thinks I am being controlled by the love I have for him?"
Kelvin shrugged. "It's obvious. Who leaves his mate to follow another? It's you, Jasmine"
Jasmine scoffed. "I will not stop following the truth"
"Kelvin is right. You should be with your mate not him" Jamal spoke for the first time.
Jasmine stared at him. "Jamal I know you know the truth and you will always support the truth. You should not be like them"
She gave them a cold stare, sighed, and walked to the door.
"Jasmine" Kelvin called. "You should not take a step out of this room or I will..."
Jasmine turned. "Or you will do what?"
"Or I will have to reject you," he said and everyone gasped.
Jasmine stared at him. "Y-you want to reject me?"
Kelvin shrugged. "I can't marry someone who has decided to follow a betrayal. If you don't want me to reject you. Don't go"
Jasmine signed. "I have made a promise to Ryan already. That I will find the root of this problem and I am not going back. If you all can not trust me, what can I do"
She said and walked out. Kelvin ran after her with the rest trailing behind. He held her hand.
"I the demon Prince, today reject you as my mate and cut ties with you," he said to her and released his hand from her. "You are free now," he said and walked away.
Jasmine stared at the rest and they looked away. She sighed and left too. As she returned to her mother's room, she wondered if she has made the right choice to follow Ryan and help him out. And if it is worth being rejected for. Now, sitting down to think about it, she hoped Kelvin was not serious about rejecting her and he will take her back after she proved that Ryan is innocent.

Ryan visited Jasmine in her room. It's been two days since she suddenly locked up the gate and created a barrier. And after that, she had hardly come out of her room. Ryan could tell that something had happened in the earth witches' coven the last time they went but was afraid to ask her. He knew that what so ever had happened there, was because of him. But after waiting for two days, he decided he should speak to her.
He knocked at the door. "Who is there?" Jasmine asked.
"Ryan" he answered. "Can I come in?"
Jasmine opened the door. "Is there a problem?"
"I was worried about you and decided to check on you"
Jasmine sighed. "Thanks"
"Did anything happen at the earth witches' coven?" Ryan asked when he walked in.
"Nothing" she muttered.
"Are you sure?"
Jasmine nodded. "Very sure"
"Then why did you lock yourself up in the room? I have been worried"
Jasmine sighed. "Ryan, don't worry about me. I am fine. Is that why you are here?"
Ryan nodded. "Yes"
"Thanks for worrying about me"
"Are you hungry? Let me make something for you"
Jasmine chuckled. "I am not hungry. You should not worry"
"You look skinny. Have you been eating at all?"
Jasmine laughed. "What are you saying?"
"I don't want the rest to quarrel with me for not taking care of you. Just tell me what you want to eat"
"I am not"
"I won't take no for an answer"
Jasmine sighed. "Anything will do"
"How about pasta or maybe..."
"Just anything will do"
Ryan stood up. "I will prepare as many things as I can"
"Should I come to help you?"
He nodded. "I will appreciate it if that will take you out of this room"
They headed to the kitchen together.
"Ryan?" Jasmine called. "Do you think I made the right choice?" she asked.
"Coming with me?" he asked.
He knows that she is having a problem with others because of him. He sighed.
"Jasmine, do you regret coming with me?"
"I do not"
"Then you made the right choice"
"Can I tell you the truth?" she said.
"What truth?"
"Kelvin rejected me"
Ryan blinked. "H-he did? Why?"
"Because I choose to follow you"
Ryan groaned. "Why would he do that? You should have stayed back. You should..."
Jasmine chuckled. "You should not feel bad about it. I choose to stay with you"
"But..."
"Shh. I don't want you to worry about it"
"I feel bad that this happened to you. Do you think he meant it?"
"I don't think so"
"Are you sure? Or do you want me to talk to him about it?"
"Don't worry about me"
"I..."
"Can we continue with our cooking?"
Ryan sighed. He hoped Kelvin is not serious about rejecting Jasmine because he might not forgive himself for that.

Amaya's visit to Emerald's dream confirmed that Ryan's dream was real. It was like a trance. When Amaya first appeared, she took the form of a little girl, walking in a desert. Emerald wondered what a little girl like her could be doing in a place like that and she walked closer to her to speak to her.
"Emerald" the girl called when she walked closer to her.
"Do you know me? Who are you?"
The girl stared at her and Emerald gasped. Why does she look like Jasmine, when she was little?
"Jasmine?" she called and the little girl smiled. She transformed into an older woman. "Amaya?" Emerald cooed in surprise.
She hasn't seen or met Amaya before but she has heard that she came from her descendant. She was also shown what she was like.
"You finally recognized me, my descendant," Amaya said.
Emerald bowed. "I am sorry I did not recognize you sooner"
"You have grown so well, Emerald. You look just like your mother"
"You know my mother?"
"I have shown myself to your mother once. Did you receive my message?"
Emerald nodded. "The one you sent through Ryan?"
"Yes. The one through the wolf boy. About the prophecy"
"What prophecy are you talking about?" Emerald asked.
"The prophecy of the book. I shouldn't have created the book in the first place. I should not have destroyed the book and not left it in the hands of my children. Emerald, when the book appears, it must be destroyed completely"
"How can it be destroyed?"
"The children must travel across the seven rivers and seven mountains. There's a cafe that has an ever-burning fire. It must be destroyed in it"
Emerald sighed. "If the book is destroyed will there be peace?"
"Peace will return and the world will be better again"
"How will they get there?"
Amaya handed a glowing red stone to Emerald. "Give this to my descendant. It will help them find their ways"
Emerald took the stone from her. "What about the twins' fate that has been changed?" she asked.
"Only the fate of one has been completely changed, Emerald. One will lose a thing and get another. One will forfeit a thing for the cause. Only one is the true Alpha and the other a great witch. When the time comes their destiny will be fulfilled and the one who has betrayed them, his life will be cut short"
Emerald sighed. She still doesn't understand what Amaya meant by her words. "Can you..."
There was a strange sound and Amaya smiled. "It is time. The book has finally appeared and it will find its way to the hand of its bearer. A new prophecy will be seen soon. For it is time to destroy the book completely. It is time" she said as her voice faded away.
Emerald opened her eyes, quickly. It was a dream or a trance? She wondered. Ella walked in.
"Emerald" she called. "I just had a dream"
Emerald furrowed her brows. Did Amaya appear to her too?
"What is the dream about?"
"I was a woman dressed in white. She spoke about the appearance of the book and I woke up"
Emerald sighed. "I think you met Amaya. I met her too"
"What did she say?"
"The book..."
Ariana rushed in. "Stella is here. There is a new prophecy.
Emerald blinked. Is Stella here because of the new prophecy? Emerald and Ella left the room with Ariana to meet Stella.
"It's good to see you again," Stella said, hugging Emerald, and then Ella.
"Good to see you too," Emerald said.
"Where are Jasmine and Ryan?" Stella asked when the rest joined them.
"It's a long story," Jabal said and Stella furrowed her brows.
"She left for the Munar pack with Ryan," Ariana said.
"Tell me everything that has happened without leaving a word out"

Ryan was in his office with Jasmine when an old woman showed up. She was one of the oldest pack members. Jasmine stood up to help her sit.
"Alpha" she cooed.
"Old one. You should have asked me to come"
She handed a book to Ryan. "You should have this. I saw it in the storehouse and I thought it will be best you keep it"
